[Resolved] Sunny Day and Rain Dance

Hey guys,

I'm having a bit of trouble with Serra and her brutal hail-ice beam combo! Figured I need to balance that out, but the vulpix i picked up from the salon doesnt have drought and none of my pokemon have sunny day. Been looking around for it, but can't find it anywhere. Any help appreciated

I don't think any of the weather changing TMs are out yet. I might be wrong there, but the best way to deal with Serra is with no doubt bringing along a drought vulpix/ninetales if ame hasn't got rid of that yet either.

nope I don't believe there is either, but you can breed the vulpix till you get one, I think glacieon is the major threat

Got Sunny Day but dunno where I got it ^^

You can get Sunny Day later after the 10th Gym if you do a Sidequest.

the weather TMs are in the game, but I don't know if you can get them yet.

They are part of the Team Aqua/Magma quest line

You get the TM after their second quest (attacking the other Teams Headquarters/Alleyway).

after completing this quest you will get your teams respective TM:

If you sided with Team Aqua then you will receive Rain Dance.

If you sided with Team Magma then you will receive Sunny Day.

You will get the opposite TM later in 7th street, after beating the opposing leader a second time. He will give to you then.

(As an Aqua you will get Sunny Day and as a Magma you will get Rain Dance)

Also in 7th Street you can buy Ability capsules to change your Ninetails ability to Drought... but you are not able to get there yet.

You may be able to breed a drought Vulpix however...

Or you get a ground or rock type with Sandstorm, like Roggenrola, if you want to negate the weather

Then you probably didn't talk with everyone.

Also, there's something wrong with Cepheus comment. You get the TM after the third quest (Which starts in the 7th street)

And then, if you sided with Aqua, you get Rain Dance

If you sided with Magma, you get Sunny Day. AND THEN:

If you sided with Aqua, you have to defeat Maxwell (Is that his name?) on the 7th street. then you'll receive Sunny Day

If you sided with Magma, you have to defeat Arc... poop, on the 7street street, then you'll receive Rain Dance
