Drilbur

Im on the hunt for Drilbur and I know im in the right mountain but im not finding it. Can I get it before i take on Team Meteor inside their mountain base or do I have to wait until after. (P.S. This is right after i defeated the doctor and he kidnapped two of the kids.)

Drilbur is located at Tanzan Mountain (Depths)

Drilbur is in all Tanzan Depths maps. In-game events shouldn't affect the wild encounters.

My simple question was if i had to finish Team Meteor off first, because i wanted to train the Drilbur up in the fights there. Nobody was answering so i just went through the base anyways.

Well, they answered your question, if you can access to the Depths then you can encounter it.

You won't be able to reach the depths until after you get your 7th badge.

Telling me team meteor shouldnt affected wild encounters doesnt tell me if i can catch Drilbur before i had got teleported by the abra. I wanted to know if i had to go through there or could i wait and get a drilbur before i went through. Regardless i went ahead through and got my drilbur so forget this thread.
