Have a Battlers folder with .gif moving sprites, but the Pokemon are static during battle?

Oh boy the moving sprites. Where do I begin with those. I think Ame and O had a theory discussion in that these sprites might be compatible without crashing the game but nobody knows. I don't have the old moving sprite files but it should work if the sprites are named correctly and the previous static sprites are removed

Thanks for the reply. I'd like to clarify that I renamed the default Battlers folder that came with the download to something else. The "Battlers" I downloaded online contains gif files of the 3D models ripped from SuMo and the respective 3D art does show up in battle, however the sprites are still. No issues with the positioning, at least.

I'm aware of the issue of crashing/lag when it comes to moving sprites, and that it was removed since Ep 9. I guess the game, as it is now, doesn't give an option for the rendering of gif files? Other games like Rejuv (i think) have it, and was hoping I could configure it for my fresh playthrough of Reborn... Would appreciate any info or help.
