So, I beat Kiki (hooray, she was a pain). This is my team right now (working on building it up so that I can continue through the game successfully.

Miles, the Lax Emolga (Level: 33) (Lowest level on the team, ironically was really helpful when I fought Kiki, he got a crit Acrobatics on Medicham)

Rogers, the Sassy Arcanine (Level: 38) (Beastly now that it isn't a Growlithe anymore)

Its an ok team, but you evolved Growlithe waaayyy too early. It missed out on so many good moves....

^ This, you generally want to wait until 45 before evolving growlithe so it can get flare blitz, heat wave, and outrage once evolved the only move you that arcainine will learn naturally is extreme speed. You also might wanna replace rock smash for strength unless you really want the def drop.

Sigh, whenever I hear people talking about Arcanine I feel like crying... I got myself a Drought Vulpix MUCH later in the game, because the first time I happened around those parts I had no Pokemon with the right Friendship. THEN I realized that I could create a great sun team replacing my current starter (Infernape) with another starter, the Bulbasaur you obtain on Azurine Island... THEN I realized that Infernape could give me a huge contribution before leaving, namely breeding me a Flash Fire Growlithe knowing Close Combat, that would have later evolved into an Arcanine set to be a huge asset to my team... AND THEN I realized that I had traded away Growlithe for Mareep out of good heart... *triple facepalm with a twist*

Anyway on topic now: in Gyarados' set, did you mean Dragon Dance? Because I don't really think it can get Dragon Rush at all @OP
