The Radiant Aeon
From the ashes of the 6 last heroes, a new team has arisen. With the cornerstone of the previous legend, 5 warriors that are coded by their respective emotions shall destroy the Reborn Leaders (maybe) Rage (Mamoswine) (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Thick Fat EVs: 252 Atk / 4 Def / 252 Spd Jolly Nature (+Spd, -SAtk) - Stealth Rock - Rock Slide - Ice Shard - Earthquake Evil (Chandelure) (M) @ Choice Scarf Trait: Flash Fire EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Heat Wave - Shadow Ball - Energy Ball - Trick Joy (Breloom) (M) @ Lum Berry Trait: Technician EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Swords Dance - Mach Punch - Bullet Seed - Spore Calm (Alakazam) (M) @ Focus Sash Trait: Magic Guard EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Psyshock - Focus Blast - Signal Beam - Hidden Power [Fire] Pain (Jolteon) (M) @ Choice Specs Trait: Volt Absorb EVs: 4 Def / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Thunderbolt - Volt Switch - Shadow Ball - Hidden Power [ice] Sorrow (Absol) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Super Luck EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Sucker Punch - Psycho Cut - Night Slash - Rock Slide Rage: The Ancient Fighter of Destruction awakes from his icy prison. Leading the team, his primary strength is to combat the dragons as well as setting up rocks. Unfortunately, he lacks Superpower, which hinders his ability to strike Ferrothorn or Blissey. EQ is for the powerful STAB. Ice shard is a good priority move that K.O.s Garchomp and Gliscor, two very prominent offensive and defensive threats respectively. Rock Slide is for double battles or triple battles, though in hindsight Superpower or Endeavor would have been smarter, as I already do have a rock slide user. Evil: Master of Deceit, Chandelure is my scarfer. This ups his sweeping abilities and is a great revenge killer. Heat Wave is for League battles, though I'll change that to Fire Blast when I don't use it for League. Shadow Ball gives him additional STAB. Energy Ball gives coverage against Water or Ground types that he'll outspeed. Trick is there to wallbreak. Switching between Shadow Tag, which ups his revenge killing, and Flash Fire, which makes him immune to fire. Joy: A pokemon I use to dislike, now is a godsend, the Bringer of Glory is a my counter to the great mighty Excadrill. Though I really shouldn't explain how good standard Swords Dance is to long-term players. So I'll hide it for newer players or casual people. Spore. Basically, a free Swords Dance. Then Technician Mach Punch for 60 power priority. Continue to spam until ghost or victory. And a sashed pokemon? Bullet Seed handles them with ease. So, he is a basic Breloom. Calm: The Creator of Serenity, Al is the one of the most destructive pokemon on my team. With Sash, he can usually live two turns tops. That means two turns of kickass. Psyshock may seem inferior to Psychic, but with the advent of Blissey, Psyshock can neutralize her as a threat. Of course, Focus Blast covers the powers of darkness. Signal Beam strikes other Psychic types too, but in reality, Shadow Ball would've been MUCH better to cover Spiritomb or Sableye due to overall better power, though gets props for slaying Celebi. HP Fire provides coverage against bugs. Sorrow: While admittedly my weakest pokemon, The Hunter of the Dark is far from useless. STAB Sucker Punch is why, everything else covers Absol nicely. Night Slash is my secondary STAB, and a good one too, and it gets a critical bonus because of Super Luck. Psycho Cut covers the Fighting menace, although I doubt he'd live long to use it, and Rock Slide breaks the bugs. Again, Superpower would've been nice on either him or Swine, as steel is gonna be a big problem for me. Pain: The only surviving member of the warriors of light, Inazuma now masks his identity to become the Lone Ranger of Texas Judgement. STAB Thunderbolt is killer from this thing, especially Specs. Volt Switch changes the momentum of the battle, switching from Pain into Joy. HP ice makes a good pseudo Bolt-Beam combo. Shadow Ball is for the extra coverage(?). The legends of the six warriors and how they burned bright lives on with the Pain, as he avenges his best friend, Verwusten the Gyarados. Alts. Houndoom, Skarmory, and Starmie can perhaps replace Absol, Alakazam, and Chandelure. Other considerations include Lucario, Aerodactyl, Gengar, Dragonite, Forretress, Reunicles, and Blaziken. Steel is a major problem for this team, though mainly because of the lack of Superpower on Mamoswine. Common leads like Skarmory is gonna be a pain for him. Bugs are also an issue, specifically Scizor and Genesect, as two major members are weak to Bug, and Chandelure can only do so much to Genesect even scarfed, though the same cannot be said to Scizor, even with scarf or Swords Dance boost. Also, overall defences are ABYSMAL on this team. So if I change this team, perhaps these are why. Leave suggestions to this team, and remember the old legends.. Code: PIRULUK
Well, I don't have anywhere near enough competitive experience to comment on your team. I just wanted to compliment you on your naming scheme; it's cool... ...and I also wanted to point out that "evil" isn't an emotion xD
