Birthday: May 29th 1993

Things to know: Basically the anti Izumi Konata with Kuro being more mature, less loony, and more quiet and sentinel. However she does share some similar traits such as love of video games, snacks, and anime/manga. After the birth of Izumi Konata, in an alternate universe Kuro-Konata was born out of the blue representing the opposite of what Izumi is. She is a little more straight forwards to the point and hates to be tested or tricked. She cares for those that have earned it and will make sure that the people she cares for gets her support. Her goals are few and far between but she wishes to be the energetic happy girl. Unfortunately she feels she can't be that due to her being a shut-in and her own quiet and slightly timid nature. With over time, she might change into something better. Something that will let her be something she wishes she was...

-Appearance/Characteristics: [in lieu of a drawing] White, bobcut hair; tucks in what appears to be one lopped-off rabbit ear and one ear of indeterminate origin; hides a wooly raccoon tail; generally wears baggy clothes

-Birthday: Assumed to be June 15

-Things to Know: Fauna has manifested both the ability to transmogrify into a raccoon or become a heavily-armored warrior. Though the armor is tough, it is, in fact, a superdense chitin, and thus still part of her flesh. She tends to hide both these skills, as her animal ears are unusual enough as it is.

What she makes no effort to hide, however, is her skill with an unusually heavy-set guan dao.

Also worth noting is her group's mission to alter the course of stories. As she is completely incapable of using magic, she is denoted as the 'off-tank' in this group. As an individual tasked with such an unorthodox mission, she is seen in worlds she does not belong in. She is not its leader.

I'm going to be laaaazy here and just bring my standard Pokemon character into this universe. I like playing as him anyway.

Roleplay Universe: Pokemon

Name: Jameson Rhodes

Nickname: James

Age: 16

Appearance: James stands at about Five feet, 10 inches tall, and has a skinny, unmuscular build. Of course, you'd hardly ever see this due to the dark blue

hoodie he almost constantly wears which does a good job of hiding his figure and makes him seem bulkier than he actually is.. His hair is a dark brown color, which fits well with his dark brown eyes and white skin tone. His hair is rather unkempt, sometimes random clumps of it stick up in random directions. No matter how much he tries to straighten it out, it always seems to retain that unkempt and stubborn style.

Personality: James isn't really someone that would be put into a category such as "eccentric" or "loud." Overall, he's an extremely rational person that prefers going with his head rather than his gut. He's certainly intelligent, and he has a bit of a "detective" streak to him. He has a tendency to eavesdrop on others to get information, no matter how irrelevant it is. Of course, what he has in brains, he severely lacks in brawn. He's one of the kinds of people that has brains and stamina over raw strength, which makes him not really cut out for much heavy lifting or... lifting of any kind. He's a bit shy getting to know people at first, but once you get past that initial barrier, he's a pretty decent and friendly guy. Although he seems to have a bit of a problem dealing with overconfident and cocky people who don't know what their limits are, finding himself easily annoyed by them. He is however, loyal to any good friends he makes. Some people say he's too uptight, which he kind of is at times, but that's not to say he doesn't know how to cut loose once in a while. Also... he's kind of bad with directions. And by kind of bad, I mean that his directional compass was thrown off a cliff, smashed by a hammer, and thrown through a woodchipper. He'll find his way where he's going eventually... but probably not until after he's gone the wrong way twice, through a forest, a town, and an un-explainable desert. What a desert is doing next to an urban landscape? Your guess is as good as mine, but he'll find some way to end up in it.

As for the other verses... more on them later, but since the Pokemon one is currently one of the only ones to start off, I decided to start with this.

-Appearance/Characteristics; Shiny, has a Team Magma emblem tattooed/branded into his flank. Untrusting of humans, quick to attack anyone who seems to be a threat.

-Birthday; He doesn't remember.

-Things to Know;

This Vulpix was born in a Team Magma breeding program, where Team Magma was trying to breed as many drought vulpix as possible in order to sap the earth of ocean and lake water, thus producing more land. He was often neglected and beaten if he tried to fight back against his handlers, or resisted orders. Once enough other vulpix were born with the Drought ability, Team Magma attempted to make a profit off of the shiny, rebellious vulpix by selling him to the highest bidder. While he was being transported by truck to the Johto region, Vulpix slowly worked away at his cage with his ember attack and eventually managed to melt the bars. When the Magma grunts opened the back of the truck, Vulpix surprised them with a quick attack and took off running for the woods. He's been living on route 31 ever since, occasionally seeking refuge in Dark Cave during storms.

Things to Know; while he normally likes to be alone, Zeroshi takes precious care of anyone he considers a friend. As a young child he was subjected to bullying and because of that he hates bullying in any form. He has trained in not only tie kwon do and karate but he also trained in ken-do and other sword-playing skills. he is normally sarcastic and kind of pessimistic and will speak bluntly.

Appearance: Black Beard with same color sideburns, Bald clean-shaven Head, Green eyes, Scar on Left eye (goes from the fore head down to about level with the tip of his nose), 6' tall, typical Dress, Black Jeans with a pocket Chain. Sunglasses (aviator style frames) Blue t-shirt along with blue sneakers, that look moderately worn down.

Birthday:will vary from world to world, however he tends to be around 22 years of age.

Traits and Personalty: He prefers the company of animals ( or their equivalent), to most people. He tends to be very stand-offish and quite around people. He becomes much more talkative and lively once he gets to know the people he is talking to. He has an inherent way with machines and technology. he had always been interested in tech and knows computer programming almost as well as English.

This Character is intended for Modern Era RP's or even somewhat Sci fi ones, this includes Pokemon.

Ok here comes the character I am probably going to use for every Pokemon-related roleplay around these parts.

Name: Camilla Valerie Mathilda Elinor Von Schwartzer, Aruma for friends.

Appearance: Pic. When she is willing to avoid being recognized for whatever reason (in the case of this rp, that would be because she is a member of the Resistance and wants to conceal her true identity during her everyday life) she will wear casual clothing, with thick glasses covering her eyes, which would otherwise give away her cover being extremely recognizable.

Birthday: 31/12/1990 in roleplays that are set in the present. For roleplays with a different setting in time, she is just 23-ish.

Traits and personality:

She was born and raised in a noble, rich family. She was the spoiled little brat who grows up in a golden bubble, with her parents being constantly absent but providing her with money, fancy dresses, high-level instruction, and whatever she could possibly desire. Problem was, she just desired to escape that bubble and see the world without being in the constant grasp of those parents of hers, who were basically strangers to her. She just felt that wasn't her life, she felt a sort of darkness growing inside her, as if every day spent in that life was a day away from the life she was supposed to live. And soon she started being considered a gloomy loner, a person who refuses any kind of human relationship, a person to fear and to keep away. Every day she felt more and more lonely...

So one day she fled from home, grabbing the enough money to buy an airplane ticket for a far away place. And that's how she ended in South America. The impact with the ancient cultures of that region changed her life: in such cultures, for example, darkness is not associated with evil, and this fascinated her. Legends involving the Nazca Lines also interested her a lot. She started spending more and more time in the places of the myths, ultimately understanding that the darkness she felt inside her was not a negative thing, it wasn't a curse: it was just her gift, the sense of her life. Everyone has one after all, even those who are not aware of it.

She became aware of it thanks to that experience in South America, and since then she decided to radically change her life: she assumed the "Aruma" nickname ("Aruma" meaning "Night" in Bolivian language), she developed her fetish for dark ( and quite sexy) clothing modeled after ceremonial clothing from the ancient Inca religion, and she acquired her characteristic dark eyes. Since then, she became hell-bent on proving to anyone that "dark" doesn't mean "evil": she decided to fully give in to the darkness she felt in herself, acquiring powers she vowed to use only for good. She decided to become a Pokemon trainer specializing in Dark types, only to use the most scary, evil-looking Pokemon to help other people and always do the right thing. She also vowed to prove that "dark" doesn't mean "emo", and thus she decided to always be kind, cheerful and sympathetic towards fellow human beings, considering them just as that: fellows. Long story short, darkness made her a better person.

Other information:

Her eyes somehow grant her the capacity of instantly understanding the feeling of creatures of the night and bonding with them: this includes Dark-type Pokemon and every nocturnal Pokemon (e.g.: Noctowl, Crobat): she doesn't use telepathy to do this, it is more like an empathy derived from the fact that she feels similar to such creatures, and they understand she is just one of them. An advantage derived from this is that she doesn't have to yell her orders to the Pokemon she uses in battles, because they will immediately understand what she wants them to do from her body language, her expression, the tone of her voice, the smallest signs she may make. Of course this doesn't mean she is capable of doing stuff like persuading Dark Pokemon to turn on their trainers to side with her, nor can she use this power to catch wild Pokemon more easily... It is simply a matter of sympathy: some people feel at ease around horses, other like the company of other humans, she loves Dark-type Pokemon.

She possesses a wide array of Pokemon, mostly Dark-type: even when she includes non-Dark Pokemon in her team, she always sticks to a nocturnal theme, simply to maximize the advantages of the aforementioned capability.

She also possesses a motorbike, which she rides skillfully. She is not a big expert when it comes to mantainance, tho.

5' with the only clothes she has is her school uniform until an organization recruited her.

Birthday: 6/17/XXXX She being 15 years old

Backstory: When she was a small child she loved her family and even at one point felt as if nothing could go wrong. But then her family started getting obsessed with the ideology of the Church of Dawn. Soon, she no longer found love in her household; it had been replaced with simply a fervent devotion to Dawn. So at the age of 10 when she declared in front of her family she will not believe/respect in the Goddess they all shunned her, and from that day forth everyone shunned her or called her names or even resorted to throw little rocks at her. So on a night when she finally snapped she tried to murder her brother for calling her a freak and a few other things for not believing or respecting in the Goddess's power. After that she was abandoned by her family and tried to seek help but her story followed her and no help was given wherever she looked. People also she her as attractive who don't know of her story but she'll only use that to her advantage if she requires it. Now she has no sympathy for much of anyone. She joined Team Dusk knowing they are the resistance of the Goddess and wants to help take her down no matter the cost.

Name: Kael Nox.

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Kael has short, messy, unsaturated green hair, pale skin, a slight, clean-cut beard, and pale eyes. His frame is slim and lithe, and he has a nonchalant gait. Kael wears a black light coat that falls down to his knees, black slacks, black tennis shoes, and a black collar with a small cross hanging off of it. There's a messy pattern of scars that cover his torso, due to the surgery after an unfortunate motorcycle accident that he was involved in. He also lost his left arm during the accident, which was surgically replaced with a black, steel robotic arm with sharp pointed fingers that can hurt a bit if he grabs you a bit too hard with it. He keeps the arm hidden mostly with his jacket and a pair of black leather gloves. His canine teeth are slightly sharper than the rest of his teeth, which has earned him the loathed nickname of "Golbat".

Personality: Kael is a loner by circumstance, due to a past of being abandoned by his so-called 'friends'. He tries his best not to make friends, to avoid the heartbreak that comes when they inevitably leave him. If you can earn his trust, you will find a serious, yet loyal friend who will do everything in his power to make you happy. Break his heart, and he'll never forgive you again.

While he can come off as cold, Kael simply looks forward to getting the job done and over with, so that he can get back to his various hobbies. These activities include drawing tattoo designs for the shop he hopes to one day open, playing guitar, and training alongside his partner pokemon, Kaine the Luxray.

History: He refuses to talk about it. He looks ahead to the future, not the past.

Genre: Pokémon. Specifically dystopians.

Stuff he carries around: He keeps a small black and red tattoo gun in a small, coffin shaped box with a red cross on it in his pocket, for emergency tattooing purposes. A Duskball containing Kaine hangs from the opposite hip on his black leather belt. People who touch Kaine's ball while he is within sometimes experience a slight electric shock--nothing fatal, it just feels like you were bitten by a rattatta. He also carries around his guitar on his back in a bag that can also hold berries, TMs, and other pokegoods.

Not easily angered, but hard to calm when angered, thoughtful but reckless, tends to be a know it all, Hard headed, Sometimes shows signs of being a sociopath (I can write poetry as well, this character is supposed to reflect who I am in reality)

Birth date: April 3, 1993

Things To Know: Early on he was considered a genius. People respected him even when he was young and he was praised for his many works. When he was 8, his mother died from an abrupt heart attack, leaving him her beloved Eevee. He loved Eevee and brought her everywhere he went. He named her Pearl, after his mother. One day, he was being attacked by thugs, threatening to kill him and Eevee. Upon watching Bereft sustain immense damage, Eevee evolved into Espeon and protected Bereft from further harm. Since then, Bereft has been training, along with Eevee to be able to protect those who are wronged.

Name: Flux

Description:
Flux is tall and has long black hair with a blonde highlight in the middle. His bangs extend far in the front and his hair reaches a little past his shoulders. He wears a long white lab coat and glasses just below his eyes which bear an intense gaze. He does not speak much, but rather watches is silence, contemplating every possible option. He is very intelligent and does not spend much time around people. Instead, he prefers the company of his large and powerful Aggron, Ogre. Despite the power of his Pokemon, he prefers not to fight unless absolutely necessary.. He spends much of his time researching the DNA and genetic builds of all the species of Pokemon and uses this information to his advantage in battles. While he may be seen as cruel and uncaring, Flux has the interest of Pokemon held first in his heart, and however the League may turn out, he will be ready to face it.

Appearance/Characteristics: Around 5 feet, 5 inches; medium length black hair (up to her shoulders); dark brown eyes; she is typically seen wearing jeggings (tight jeans) and sneakers with a plain white t-shirt draped with a long, black cardigan. She will switch to a blue hoodie and long, black boots when the weather gets cold. She usually has contacts on, but will switch to glasses if she doesn't feel like wearing them.

Things to Know: Miki is very studious and is often seen as a nerd. She prefers the company of books and her Pokemon rather than humans. As a result, she is intelligent, but also socially awkward and somewhat naive. She is also brutally honest and does not know that she has insulted someone with her words. However, Miki is very loyal to the friends she gets along with.

I have never role played before, but after seeing some of the interesting RPGs here, I really wanted to try it out.

-Name: Sarcus

-Appearance/Characteristics: A bit taller than average (5'11"), with long blonde hair that tends to get slightly unkempt. He never ties it back, preferring to let it flow over his shoulders and down his back. Usually wears brown, black, or khaki cargo pants with a white T-shirt, an unbuttoned shirt, and a jacket or coat depending on the weather. Slate gray eyes.

-Things to Know; Sarcus is pretty quiet and reserved at first. He doesn't usually have a lot to say, but when he does, he goes on at length, talking rapidly. He tries very hard to stay calm and collected but has a very hot temper. Sarcus is also very proud and easily offended, though less so around friends. He is very intelligent but somewhat lacking in people skills and common sense. Sarcus relates very well to Pokemon, however. He's been traveling alone with his Absolution since his family was taken away on suspicion of opposing the Church of Dawn; the reason the Absol appeared to him.
