Favorite movies

Well this appears to be the right place to talk about movies, yet somehow that doesn't seem to happen much....SO i thought it might be a fun idea to make a topic where people share and talk about their favorite movies! If you can't or don't want to name just 1 try for a top 3 or top 5...or just name a bunch you adore and would defend with your life :P

For me, i think i'll go with Meet Joe Black, Seven Psychopaths, Pitch Black, Little Miss Sunshine, Much Ado About Nothing, and There Will Be Blood.

Forrest Gump

A Muppet Christmas Carrol

Pacific Rim

Godzilla, Mothra, and King Gidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack

The Land Before Time

Metal Gear Solid 4 JK

i have to ask about the muppet christmas carol movie. Partly because it's the only one there i havent seen. Also because of what it is...i mean why do you love it so much? not bashing you or anything just really curious.

Werewolf?

Werewolf? There wolf, there wolf, there wolf.

Haunted? I've had enough of that for one night. ... Can't I meet them all at once and get it over with?

How to Train Your Dragon was great, but doesn't quite make it to my favorites. Definitely worth a mention though. Ip Man was good, but I think I enjoyed Ip Man 2 a bit more for other reasons.

IMO, Shrek was great, shrek 2 was good, shrek 3 was awful, and i refuse to watch shrek 4. How to train your dragon was way too predictable for me, it was interesting but it was another animated film where at the end it looks like the main character hero person MIGHT have died, and everybody just suddenly assumes he did without searching much, or checking a pulse or something, and then that main character gets up, basically totally fine. This happens so often it's annoying as hell because it makes every character look stupid and it's becoming a massive cliche.

Eh... kind of hard to think of a favorite anything so I'll just put whatever suddenly comes to mind...

The Great Mouse Detective
Mulan
Pete's Dragon
My Neighbor Totoro
Scott Pilgrim vs The World
Wreck-It Ralph
A Christmas Carol (original)
The Avengers
V For Vendetta
...

And probably a bunch of other Disney movies from my childhood and... other stuff I can't remember. *shrugs*

Pretty much every movie with Johnny Depp in it.

Pirates of the carribean, benny and joon, sleepy hollow, from hell, alice in wonderland, edward scissorhands, what's eating gilbert grape, donnie brasco, secret window, finding neverland, charlie and the chocolate factory, public enemies, the tourist, the rum diary, and dark shadows i know from watching those are all at least pretty good, but the lone ranger was apparently extremely horrible.

i haven't seen sweeney todd yet but i want to.

oh i forgot to mention The Ninth Gate, that's probably my favorite of his though.
