Xanvier
I currently have a Charizard, Nidoking, Gallade, Primarina and a Mangnezone I can't decide on my sixth member. is there anything good (preferably dual type) which i could use? On a side note, is there any electric type i could use to replace magnezone? It's a good pokemon, but it seems to get one-shot by every water type carrying earthquake
Cadmium48
It seems like a Dark type would help you best with coverage; the only types you can't hit super-effectively with STAB are Ghosts and Psychics. I don't have any more specific ideas, though, sorry. On the topic of Magnezone, you could give it Air Balloons from the Circus; you could also find Rotom and use that in a forme of your choice.
JDMM
Go for a Sniper Drapion for your Dark type.. Only weak to Ground and hits pretty hard.. Give it a Chople Berry or Scope Lens and you are good. Or a Krookodile with either Moxie or Intimidate.. You can change it up pretty easily with Ability Capsules, just mine for Shards and you are golden
Dark Legend
Ima say dark types (definately not biased at all, definately not because theyre my favorite type), any dark type can be useful.
Silkerin
https://marriland.com/tools/team-builder/ This tool is useful to get a quick answer to the strenghts and weaknesses of your team. As other mentioned, a dark type would cover your only weakness to ghost, even if it is less relevant if you already beat Shade. Your team has a mix of physical and special attackers so you could consider Umbreon as a wall and to be more of a support for the other 5 members (Toxic + Moonlight would work well with him). If you prefer a more offensive pokemon, Weavile is great (and is double-type). Edited May 27, 2021 by Silkerin

I would consider Eelectross, which has no weaknesses at all and learn by level up the super useful thunder wave, acid spray and thunderbolt (and can learn flamthrower as well). Or Ampharos which can become Mega late game and has a great movepool as well. Personally I would replace Magnezone+Nidoking by Eelectross+Excadrill and use elemental punches on Gallade to cover (Psycho Cut, Drain Punch, Sword Dance + probably ice punch if you don't use Weasel). This team won't beat Terra. And Krookodile would give him 3 pokemon weak to water with only Primarina to resist it (and again no movepool to really fight back). Amaria would be a wall this time. While both powerful pokemon, the team would have to be adjusted to incorparate them.

Thing is that in Reborn you have to rebuild your team for each gym leader/PULSE and have one to just do your shit around(while boring to grind stuff up I think it's the best way to play plus I have a thing of using a lot of Pickup Pokes to get shit for free while I grind). While you are right. I'd change Nidoking for something else if I picked Drapion or Krook since they overlap in typing and weaknesses (I'm one that thinks that overlapping types isn't that bad, if weaknesses don't overlap).. I'd get a Crobat or something like that for the Poison type if picked Krook.(Overlaps on the Electric and Rock weakness with Zard but Primarina should take care of those) but it's pretty strong and can also be your Flyer later on) I'm for example going to have both a Lucario and Medicham on my "going around" team.. I might box my Drapion depending on what else I might pick up, probably Crobat since I don't have Flying Type and Krook would overlap with Swampert for the Grass weakness . Dark type is useful but I'm thinking having a Fairy and Steel type is even more important (either Clefable or Granbull in my case for the Fairy, and Lucario for Steel) and Medicham hits like a truck with Pure Power, and has Thunder punch/Ice Punch coverage besides its double stab of HJK and Zen Headbutt ..... Or get a Houndoom sometime soon since I have a Houndour in the box Edited May 27, 2021 by JDMM
Lucieya
I recently found a great type calculator that covers everything I needed. Check out Pokémon type calculator. It provides detailed type coverage which is exactly what I was looking for.
