Aqua Severwill
Oh, yeah that thing was given Fairy type. And the reasoning for the scald all over the arena is to slow down the Sneasel along with the rocks.
Ojama Yellow
You make the field heat up, right? I've also got some nasty tricks up my sleeve with Ms. Mime and Rebel...but I'm not quite sure what to do with Tristan yet, so I'll probably start off by using or Ms. Mime or Rebel. Aqua Severwill
Sneasel is part ice type and can out speed almost anything at this low level of a battle To slow down most pokemon that run straight forward and even in a zig-zag I placed all the rocks on the field so it would for sure slow the Sneasel down. The scalding hot water in to make it so Sneasel has an even harder time to run. Oh course the rocks would slow down my pokemon as well, however if you have noticed how most of my attacks are played out you would see why it is not that much of a problem
Ojama Yellow
Grasssnake said 4 links, but you could have as many pokes as you want. Unrelated: Caught Groundon in two balls, and Mewtwo in four. What do I win? Wasn't there said that you can have 5 links, 4 'common' Pokémon and 1 Legendary, and then only 3 Pokémon that can be recruited for battle, but aren't links? Aqua Severwill
Who cares, 4v4 would but much shorter than 6v6 or 5v5. Like, look how long my 2v4 battle is going xD
Ojama Yellow
Well, ok, but I just ment that it may not be possible to have infinite Pokémon.
Aqua Severwill
oh yeah that. Four links for normal pokemon and one for a legendary. I guess if you 'recruit' a pokemon you could just use a pokeball and I think you could brake a link with a normal pokemon to switch out for another. But yeah I see what you were talking about now. By the way, does anyone have a Gastly yet?
Chevaleresse
Playing Soul Silver along with using Dragonite competitively are making me want to use Lance's theme and get a Dragonite in this. Jory already yelled at me about all my pseudos, though.
Aqua Severwill
I forgot all the pokemon that you have....how many pseudos do you have out of all your pokemon?
Jory
I'm not mad, per se, but I think that some of the newer people might want a chance to get a pseudo before you grab all of them up. I personally don't have one and will not. Snorlax is going to be the closest I get to a pseudo at 540 BST. EDIT: grass pls repond Edited March 20, 2014 by Jory

Chevaleresse
I forgot all the pokemon that you have....how many pseudos do you have out of all your pokemon? Metagross, Salamence, and Garchomp. (Haven't recruited Salamence yet, tho.)
Chevaleresse
Would your characters consider this a serious battle, a regular one, or one against a rival?
Aqua Severwill
My gosh this battle..... my character doesn't really care about it so for him it's a normal battle. All he wants to do is finish this so he can do his own thing. He will try hard though because he likes to see how well his plan can work out, and he likes making new plans on the spot if the main one has been altered a bit or a lot
Absol-lutelty awesome!
I'd consider it normal at first, then kinda serious later in. Shit got real when Zorua's true identity was reveled
Absol-lutelty awesome!
My question to Grass is, do the people who live in the village of the clouds (us) know what the hell a gun is? Sorry, I'm a weapons nerd irl Edited March 21, 2014 by Absol-lutelty awesome!
Aqua Severwill
Oh gosh, Zorua.... I think that the two parts with Mienfoo were the most epic. First a problematic Airados turned out to be a Zorua and then died because of it's anger managed issues. And then the Exploding palms with Mienfoo and Riolu (By the way I just got my first badge for the second time. I had to remake my team thanks to Laura xD) Edited March 21, 2014 by AquaWind
Absol-lutelty awesome!
Stupid Laura XD But seriously, first battle for both of us, it's just epic, but now come on grass, we familiar with firearms or not?
Jory
Just FYI, it's generally poor form to bring math into the RP with you because of the anime theory inherent in RPing. That is to say, we know how much it will do, but our characters don't.
Absol-lutelty awesome!
True.. I could change that to something far more simple then. If sneasel faints I knew what's coming in next. I can actually see a tie happening here.
Aqua Severwill
But our characters can guess because we should know how powerful our own pokemon is and how week or frail a pokemon is. I will however try to not use the math from the game in this but the double super affective and just that type of stuff in general is obviously going to stay along with power boosts that pokemon get from certain moves. As for the tie, I jut might try and make that happen xD Edited March 21, 2014 by AquaWind
Chevaleresse
I was kind of asking so I knew what themes to post. Speaking of, here's the final draft of themes, in order of intensity. Scrapping having a specific rival theme, for now. Not particularly serious battle: Diantha's Theme Remix Important or serious battle: Blue's Theme (B/W, only heard extremely rarely and used in IRL tournaments) Extremely serious (as in, life-affecting or threatening, or just getting his arse handed to him really badly in one of the above): Lance's Theme Metal Remix Edited March 21, 2014 by KingMurdoc

Like, if someone has a Scraggy, you can't have one anymore? Because I think there are two characters with a Scraggy...including me. Also, I don't think I'll use a pseudo. Aqua Severwill
I think that Grass has said that she doesn't want to have two of one pokemon in the school, but there are exceptions like if it can evolve into more than one thing or if it's different in someway
