And, Im reading your app and Im like, "Nope, nope, nope, not happening, too OP, doesnt exist, stats mean squat..."

Gender: Male
Preferred weapon: Monado and a reflector.
Magic specialty: Enchants and battle. Doesnt exist. Magic categories are healing, battle, psychic, and illusion
Spells:

  • Cosmic heal: heals 50% hp on all allies and cures stat drops and status conditions. Far, far, too OP for healing. HP does not exist. You cant heal multiple people at once. I don't believe you can rid a sand attack by healing.
  • Combustion: sets foes on fire with a mini explosion on all enemies, can leave burns.
  • Daze ray: an area effect that can leave victims blinded and stunned. What type is this supposed to be? [
  • Thunder crash: attacks all enemies which will then suffer break. May paralyze and does more damage while raining. Im afraid that the only status conditions that exist in this RP are paralyze, burn, poison, and confusion.
  • Eon pulse: 40% super effective, ignores typing and always does damage towards lower defense stat. (requires Monado as active weapon) ??? + OP.
  • pierce/speed/power/guard aura: grants an enchant to user and allies for a limited time that grants pierce, speed up, attack/sp. attack up, or defense/ sp. defense.
  • Adaptive aura: allows user to copy foe's attacks, spells, abilities and stat boosts temporarily. (requires Monado as active weapon and an active link with Eevee) Nope.

Arts: (*=made up. __ = edited).

  • Back slash: does more damage from hitting an opponent from behind
  • Slit edge: lowers physical defense when hitting a target from the side
  • Stream edge: inflicts break to opponents hit in front of user. ([break increases the chance or has a chance of leading into flinch, stun, confusion, or topple.)
  • Cutting time*: 10 hit blade combo that traps target. High critical hit ratio on each hit.
  • Monado arts (Exclusive)(See Monado arts tab)
  • Tornado slash*: draws in enemies to damage them. Inflicts break.
  • Air slash: can hit aerial opponents, inflicts break, slows target when hit from side
  • Breaker edge: stuns toppled opponents
  • Gravity slam*: knocks down all flying enemies and topples nearby enemies (topple: can't move, critical hit damage received is increased by 25%, and all special attacks received are critical hits. Temporary)

Monado arts: (need to build monado's energy by landing attacks/arts/spells. means edited. * means made up for rp.)

  • Buster: powerful attack with more range. Temporary +2 attack and -2 defense on user.
  • Shield: protects allies from heavy and/or fatal damage and status conditions.
  • Enchant: strengthen allies and increases critical hit ratio.
  • Cyclone: special attack/magic that topples all enemies that are stunned or suffering break.
  • Purge: inflicts art/spell seal and suppresses enemy counters and abilities.
  • Eater: Strips away enemy buffs and badly poisons them.
  • Armour: Temporary +2 defense and +2 special defense and immunity to debuffs on all allies.
  • Smash: Knockback and impacts now deal damage to enemies. Increased launching power and -1 attack/special attack temporarily.
  • Agility*: grants allies +2 speed, +2 evasion, a higher and additional jump temporarily.
  • Drain*: An hp drain attack with extended range that heals allies. Hp gained is amount of damage given divided by # of allies. Hp gained can revive knocked out allies.

  • Crits mean squat. Status conditions I mentioned earlier. Im on the verge of not letting you have this weapon. Location hit means squat. No offense, but I honestly find all the physical attacks pointless (with the exception of tornado slash) I mean like pretty much anyone can do that with any normal sword. I'll let you have the second list of arts except that all the boosting spells last a certain amount of time, constantly drain *YOUR* energy, and drain only heals YOU.

Partner Pokemon: Eevee(male lvl 25), Greninja (male lvl 40 protean (surf, dark pulse, ice beam, extrasensory)), Staraptor (male lvl 40 reckless (brave bird, close combat, double-edge, u-turn))
Skills: Accuracy-4 power-4 speed-6 (1-5, peep. Maximum total is 11.)

Home in on enemies? Nope. Visions? NOT HAPPENING ON MY WATCH. I make the future, not you. I'll probably let you be able to see visions in my Mystery Dungeon RP, but this isnt PMD. ability to communicate with Pokemon. Default ability of all Poke-people
Background: An average child until his village was attacked by team shadow on his 9th birthday. He and his Eevee, who literally hatched on that same day, were the only survivors. For the next 8 years he traveled the world (Nope, you went to Kanto, Jhoto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, or Kalos) looking for a place to live in peace. During that time, he learned that he is the chosen wielder of the monado, an ancient sword that can potentially slay a god ( Um what? I did say you could have a sword like the monado, when did I ever said it existed in the pokemon world? ), and learned how to fight. He has dealt with team shadow numerous times and foiled their various schemes over and over again. (No, team shadow stayed relatively covert and never really messed with anyone except the Poke-people. If you were a poke-person, and a child who were sent away from the villages, you would be either dead or really really old now. ) On his journey, he has also befriended a Greninja and Staraptor and even seen a latios. Once heard about the shrouded islands and heard where poke-people lived (once lived) and decided to head there
Notes: magic takes 1.5 times longer to recharge compared to others because of the ability to use arts. Arts have a cool down before allowed to be used. Ether in Xenoblade will either be magic or considered a special attack. Monado agility is basically monado jump and monado speedy combined. I’m really feeling it!

Seriously, did you not read the opening post? If you did, you would know that it has been over a hundred years since Team Shadow first attacked. No way could a kid live that long. Unless they time travelled to the future. Which is not happening in this RP. And Team Shadow never bothered anyone else. If you were from a different 'village' than the ones on the Shrouded Islands, there would be no reason for Team Shadow to slaughter the village. Also, you wouldnt be able to get past the barrier. You'd be spit out on the other side. Oh, and anyone would be crazy to "head to the shrouded islands" Not exactly like "ooh, cool new land, let's explore!" No. Anyone without an invitation from Alina or Emerald would be immediately spit out. Yay, barriers rule.

I really hate to be a jerk and all, and yeah, part of it is my fault for not putting up all the spells list and info, but most of this stuff should be in the opening post and I already told you, multiple times in fact, that the USER POWERS THE ATTACK, NOT THE WEAPON.

I can burst into flames while running around with my conscience screaming "BURN!"

And my other side of my conscience yelling "KILL EM! KILL EM ALL!"

I'm sure my ability to burst into flames should impress her just fine.

Would y'all play a game based off this RP? I was thinking about making a game like reborn, but somewhat like this RP. I mean, we already have the DNA splicers, how hard would it be to program something that fuses human and pokemon? I can even make some "pokemon" of the characters > : D

Is it ok to have extra weapons or equipment? For whatever reason you may need a spare weapon. I was thinking to build some extra weapons and gear.

Sure? I don't see why not. I mean, I have a character who specializes in throwing knives and daggers, kinda wouldn't make sense if she only had one.

i remember you mentioning that the only statuses in the rp are paralysis, burn, confusion, and both poisons. how come we're not using freeze and sleep and what about stuff like leech seed and curse?

That only applies to poke-people. Pokemon can still be afflicted by freeze and sleep.

Mostly because freeze and sleep = character can't do anything. In the games, you really have to turn to the RNG, since it determines if you still sleep/freeze that turn. I don't want to have to drag out a RNG for everyone that has a status condition. If you want to use it for your pokemon, that's totally fine.

Well the reason why i mentioned it because one of my alt. weapons has an attack that can freeze opponents. plus my greninja has ice beam as well, so just wondering. maybe i can set the statuses to a timer, maybe 30 sec to a minute?

Do you seriously not get what I keep trying to tell you? I don't mean by freeze. I mean by everything else I highlighted.

If you want a clear example on my terms, take magic in Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep. It's your weapon that's powering your attack, all you have to do is wait about 10 seconds for it to recharge and you can use magic again. But then look at the Silver Serpent from the White Tiger book series. You can stream your energy through the blade and, well, pretty much do anything you want with it.

well perhaps i forgot to mention it uses magic to power up. that was probably my bad for not mentioning it. the weapon is orbiters that use magic for elemental effects on it's shots and beams. by using magic for an ice element, that's how it could freeze. i supply the elemental properties through magic, it does all the shooting. plus just firing a few shots takes a little bit out of me. if i fire too much and keep missing, i'll have to put my weapon down and i'll be vulernable.

heh, it's cool. it's my fault for not mention that part in the first place. the one flaw with the orbitals is that i have no melee attacks and i got no arts this time. hope i'm a good shooter. i also got a claw based weapon that's appearance is based off a pokemon if that's cool with you. if you played kid icarus uprising, then you'll know everything in that game shoots something, and this claw weapon is no exception.

Also, could we (not trying to rush) get the rps back up? In mystery dungeon they're going on about executions and we haven't finished dungeon one yet
