Code: PIRULUK
(To Miki) Lucas watched the young girl from behind the camera concealed in the wall. One of his assistants spoke up. "Sir, should we go talk to her?" Lucas firmly shook his head. "No. Seperating her from her Jolteon is sending her into a state of desperation. People tend to reveal their true feelings when in the throes of desperation. Keep watching her, but don't do anything about her railing."
Chevaleresse
Sarcus awoke groggily. He blinked a bit, and tried to stretch. Upon doing this, he discovered that his arms were bound behind his back, which were in turn around a chair. His brow furrowed, trying to remember how he had ended up here. His mind was a bit hazy and slow; an uncomfortable feeling. An image came into his head, of men gunning down a scientist and his partner with tranquilizers, before doing the same to him. The Church. Tranquilizers. My partner. Absolution! He looked frantically around the room for his Absol, as his heart rate doubled. Breathing heavily from the sudden panic, he stopped for a moment. He shrugged his shoulders around, trying to feel if his knives were still there. Damn. They had obviously searched him. Though he had been thinking about this very situation for most of his life, he had no idea how to proceed from this point. He had assumed that his knives were hidden well enough; evidently they weren't. He didn't even have the Great Ball that was his partner's home while they were in cities. He felt naked. He paused momentarily to be relieved that it was only a feeling. Resigning himself to his fate, the fate that his parents had befallen a decade ago, he steeled himself for what was to come. He still had to know his partner was okay, though. "I don't care what the Church decides to do with me, just please let me know my Absol is okay," he shouted as loudly as he could. "I know that you people want to finish what you started, but don't bring Absolution into this. He isn't responsible for anything." Sarcus had decided that he would wait until they had talked to him at least once before attempting to escape this place. His eyes blurred. They've probably killed him. Attacking a Church soldier, shame on him. Shame on me for even bringing him into town.
Pokelord
"Daniel, There is Church members on the move" said Lenna with her farsight. "Let's finish this quickly" I responded. "Very well then." boasted the Concave Mother. "Let me show my skill and power." "Gli" "Hypnosis" Lenna's eyes turned a blue-ish color and her Gliscor fell asleep. DarkLight
15 minutes later “Well, so much for that,” Miki thought, “I ran out of things to say.” Not only that, but her throat is dry from the continuous ranting. “I guess I can’t learn everything from a book.” She sighed while she stared at the door. “Can I have a glass of water?” she asked softly, even though she knew she won’t get an answer. Silence settles into the room once again. Miki could feel her brain scrambling for something to think about. Just ANYTHING to keep her brain preoccupied from the thoughts of what might happen… What could happen… And where Raito is… “Reciting the Pokedex? No, eventually Jolteon will come up… Grooming tips? Raito has short hair – No! That doesn’t work either! Myths? But they have Pokémon battles in it, and that will eventually lead to my dream, with Raito in it again…” “It’s no use,” Miki admitted to herself, looking at the door. Her intellectual resolve is diminishing as she spoke. “I’m worried about my only Pokémon and family left.” The young lady began to tremble, she never felt so alone in her life. Even when her parents never showed up, Miki still had her beloved Raito to keep her sane. When she read, Raito will snuggle up to her and listen to her. When she cried, it was Raito who made her laugh again. When they ran out of food, it was little Raito, confident in his speed, ran outside to steal food from the Church conclaves. Fear slowly took control over her. Her heart raced and her trembling is now visible to the naked eye. “What if Raito is mortally injured like… that day…?” ---------------------- It had been one year since her parents told them to leave, and food was running short. Raito had gone out on one of their nightly trips, hoping to find scraps and trainer-esque items. However, she was not able to accompany him that night; Miki had a stomachache. She remembered Raito, then only an Eevee, stumbling into her cave on Route 206 with food in his mouth. Terrified, Miki got out from her covers, and carried Raito to her bed. Raito was sweating and breathing very slowly, as if every breath brings him pain; she found a deep bite mark on his right leg, all bloodied and covered with dirt and gravel. “Poison?” she questioned herself as she ran for an antidote in her hidden safe, “There are not poison types that bite around here…” Then it hit her. “Dawn… Her acolytes…” She had washed his wound tenderly and sprayed the antidote. Eventually, Raito slept peacefully that night, his breathing returned to normal. But for Miki, she didn’t sleep that night. She had almost lost Raito, her only family left, because he was forced to steal food no thanks to Dawn driving them out in the first place! Anger rose inside of her. Dawn already took everything else away from her; she has no right to take Raito too. “I’ll never forgive her, ever,” she had decided childishly. Shortly after his recovery, Raito has decided to evolve. Miki remembered his resolve: Raito approached the hidden safe and turned to her. His eyes brimmed with determination as Miki took out three evolutionary stones for him to choose. She saw Raito tap the Thunderstone with his brown paw, and, in a brilliant flash, his paw turned yellow in her hand. He never got caught ever since. ---------------------- Tears began falling down her face. Miki felt guilty for all he has been though; she couldn’t help it. She can’t let Raito die, not after what he has done for her. It was not his fault that he was born into this world and was given to her on her 10th birthday. He accepted her strengths and weaknesses and, faithfully, followed her commands. She would rather give herself up and be content knowing that Raito is free from the Goddess’ cluthes. With choking sobs, Miki looked at the door once more. She hoped, with what she will say next, will allow Raito freedom from this hell. “O-okay. I get it. Y-you caught me b-because I can be a-an asset to the Church. I GET IT!” She let the tears fall freely now. She might as well tell the truth; there is nothing left for her to lose. “Y-you can kill me if you want for b-being a traitor, b-but y-you should reconsider f-first. I-If you have my bag, t-the gray one, l-look in the pocket… There is a-a letter from D-Dusk…” There, she said it. Now Raito won’t be painted as target for now. She paused to try and gather her thoughts, but they are all just a jumble now. “A-all I ask of you is to let Raito go. Just please, PLEASE, let him go! He doesn’t deserve any of this! He was only following me to keep me safe! The Goddess… They… You… W-Whatever you are! THEY TOOK MY PARENTS AWAY! HE’S ALL THAT I HAVE LEFT FROM MY FAMILY! JUST LEAVE RAITO ALONE! PLEASE!” Edited December 2, 2013 by DarkLight
Flux
Silver gave a wry smile."Sure. Of course, you won't mind if we hold on to your Aggron, though? I'm sure a doctor such of yourself doesn't require such a destructive Pokemon." ---------------------------------------------------------------- Flux blanched. That was what was missing. When he was looking around earlier, that's why something felt wrong. He couldn't feel the weight of the Heavy Ball that was usually in his pocket. This was not good. They had no idea of the trouble this could cause. "Destructive, huh?" Flux thought. "Oh, he doesn't know the half of it." Flux began to laugh darkly. First it was a quiet laugh, then it slowly filled the room. "You have no idea what you've done, do you?" Flux asked. "Let's just say that Ogre doesn't exactly rest easy when he's away from me. He can be quite aggressive when he wakes up in a strange place..." Almost as if on cue, there was sudden crash followed by a deafening roar. Flux smiled. "That's probably him. You may want to let me deal with this. I doubt your guns will have the same effect on him as they did me."
Code: PIRULUK
(To Flux) Silver laughed lightly. "Oh, it's fine." The sounds of a rampaging Aggron abruptly ceased. "There, see? The Radiant Aeon
Squad 2From the shadows, Aeon had made a call to HQ. "Yes sir, they are all safe.""Yes sir, I destroyed the building.""Yes sir, I have more info on the Church's plans, be it from Shauntal or the data from Yveltal's Wing.""Yes sir, the Wing is still in shape.""No sir, Shauntal escaped.""Yes sir, Yveltal's wing is still a secret to them, though I doubt Shauntal will keep it a secret before long.""Yes sir, yours and the Head Commander's identities are still safe...""No sir, our contact was not among the Eterna Base.""I have also spared the lives of my "Companions" that were assigned to me by Lucas. Team Dusk is working effectively as our main front against Dawn.""...""No sir, I have no objections on my role here. Yveltal's Wing made me the ultimate spy weapon. But I'm still a weapon. Before it kills me, the life force it stole will be used on the portal, should they succeed. Otherwise, I'm expecting to die in a few months, unless I take life force for my own, as Augustine suggested. But I know my mission, and I'm prepared to spend eternal damnation on the other side.""...""N, do you think the Head Commander will really go through with this? I know he sacrificed so much to finish this fight but...I don't know. We still don't know where Red is. I can only fear the worst. Still, why would Red not react to this? Alright, I understand. Relay the message to Lucas, so his members of Team Dusk can do their task.""May the Sky guide you." Finished with the call, he knew that the two had awakened, and must have heard him. Josh currently is unconscious, Bruiser resting in his ball. Aeon then carried the fool who thought he could fight a woman, blessed by divine powers, on his back. Flux
Flux frowned. He had expected that they would have some way to stop Ogre, but not that fast. He wished he knew what they had done. It could be useful if he ever got his lab back up and running. Alas, he couldn't be blamed for trying to get near his Pokemon."Well," Flux said, "if you really must know, I'll give you nothing more than the blatant truth. I suppose it would be best to start all the way from the beginning.""In the beginning, the world was nothing more than a black void. Then, the God of this universe said, 'Let there be Light' and there was light." Seeing the irritation creasing Silver's brow, Flux laughed. "Well, it may depend on whether you believe in religion or not, but I suppose I can skip to more consequential events.""I suppose this really begins in my lab. I'm from quite far away originally. You probably wouldn't recognize the region if I told you, and it makes no difference in this story. My lab was also my home. It was where all the data obtained from my... research was stored. As you are probably curious, and will no doubt use force to get me to tell you what such research is, I'll try to summarize it so someone like you could understand. If I were to give a name to my profession, I suppose it would be closest to a genetesist, although it is much more complicated than that. I study the genetic structure of Pokemon to further understand how they do what they do. Of course, there was... other... work done there; the sort that I am not willing to give details about. I would say that I'd take that information to my grave; however, there are written copies existing. Unfortunately, I no longer have access to those copies after the "incident", and they may already be in foreign hands. But, getting to the part that matters, the incident took place about two weeks ago. I was working in my lab when a group of people burst through the door, claiming that the lab was now the property of the Church of Dawn. Now you must remember, I am from far away. We had not received any word of such a church, but alas, she has spread her plague far and wide. I would have stayed to defend the lab; I had a variety of Pokemon, and probably could have defeated the entire group save for the one. She was a young woman, much younger than me, but there was a fire of hatred and anger burning in her eyes. I now believe that this woman was Dawn herself. However, the main reason that I fled was her Pokemon: the legendary "god" Arceus. It was Arceus itself; not a Ditto or any other mimicking creature unknown to man. I have researched the genetic structure of Pokemon for most of my life, and I know this to be true. Now I must say that I hold no belief that this Pokemon could be a "god". However, it is a very powerful Pokemon, one that I could not defeat. As such, I took the only one of my Pokemon near me; Ogre, my Aggron. Let's say that I had been researching how such a creature could be born into a metal body. Yes, that was it. So I took Ogre, quickly grabbed what supplies I could, and left. Now don't believe I left easy. Of course had Ogre Hyper Beam the entire interior, destroying any equipment and data that I could at such short notice. But despite my efforts, there were bound to be papers left for Dawn to find, although I don't know how much good they would do her with her lack of scientific background and the fact that many supporting papers were probably destroyed. I think it's safe to say that she gained no information of real use from that raid. And if you by some chance aren't on her side, you'd better hope she didn't. The details afterward are of less importance. I fled from Dawn's chase for quite a few days. I suspect the only reason I escaped at all was probably the fact that she and her followers had never been to the region before. I wandered for days after, using what money I had taken to sustain myself. Eventually, I came to Eterna. I stumbled upon the conclave and saw the dead acolytes, at which point I decided to see if I could gain any information about Dawn from them. Then, your men attacked, and here we are. Flux took a breath. "If you won't believe that that is the truth, then nothing I say will convince you."
Code: PIRULUK
(To Flux) Silver closed his eyes for a few seconds. Finally, he opened them with a slight smile. "Ah. We finally come to the truth." Silver drew a thin silver blade out of his pocket and held it close to Flux's throat, keeping a one-inch distance from the surface of the skin. "Tell me, sir. Do you hate the church? After all, we did destroy your life's work. Honesty is, again, highly recommended."
Flux
Flux paused when the knife came to his throat. He thought of what the man could want him to say. He had been analyzing his behavior from the moment he entered the room and had slowly become more certain that this man did not belong to the Church of Dawn. His first suspicions came around the time he woke up after being captured. After witnessing the destruction of the acolytes at the conclave, any Church member was probably either dead or long gone. Even if some had remained behind, they probably would just kill any unknown people on sight. The real charade-breaker was this man's last question. After learning the truth from Flux, a Church member would most likely either kill him or put him to work somewhere. Why would he care if Flux hated the Church? The man was cunning, he'd give him that, but Flux was on a whole other level. He had graduated from the Pokemon Research Academy at a younger age than some are allowed in. He had a mind like a blade of steel, and it was cutting this man to pieces. However, that sort of thinking also caused him to miss signs which may seem obvious to others. Thus, his current dilemma. He was almost positive that this man was a member of Team Dusk, but Flux didn't know what he wanted him to say. Sure, Team Dusk probably hated the Church, but did they want a member driven by blind hatred? At the same time, if he said he didn't hate the Church, they may think he wasn't on their side and could kill him on the spot. He may not be terribly keen on joining such an organization, but he doubted he could just walk out intact having been to their base. Besides, they were more or less after a similar goal to his own. Working together could benefit them both. However, his guess could be wrong and this man could truly be a member of the Church. But if that was the case, Flux had no choice anyway. Flux drew a breath. The time for his answer was here. He would simply speak the truth. "I do not hate the Church. I do not agree with their methods, and I believe they need to be stopped, but a man can be blinded by hatred. Being a scientist, that is not something I would wish to happen to myself. A clear mind is all I can count on sometimes. This is my answer."
Code: PIRULUK
(To Flux) Silver paused for a second. Then he returned the knife to his pocket. "Good answer." He walked to the other side of the room and snapped his fingers. Meganium released Flux. "As I'm sure you've surmised by now, I am not actually of the Church, but of Team Dusk. We see what Dawn has done, and we fight against it." Silver walked back up to Flux and extended a hand. "I'm giving you a choice. Would you like to join us? If you want to join us, it would be appreciated. If you would rather not, you may leave. In both instances, we will return your Aggron, and we shall not harm you. What do you choose?" Raindrop Valkyrie
Squad 2 Lupus stood there looking at Aeon for a time, realizing he wasn't going to get an answer especially after he whipped out a phone. Lupus was still curious about what had happened and especially wondered where Kael was... He decided he would see it with his own eye, and with that, he turned around. He couldn't believe what he saw, the very building they were in not that long ago, was now but a pile of rubble. Bodies lay crumpled and lifeless in the street, however none of that was on Lupus's mind, he was worried about what had happened to his friend, Kael. Lupus started to run back towards the wreckage. He thought to himself "is this what it is to care about somebody? I haven't had a feeling like this in about 4 years...since before...... she died...." he pushed those thoughts from his mind, now was not the time to break down Kael could need him. In the middle of his stride Lupus grabbed his pokeball from his waist, the lid now a somber blue color. Out came Lobo, he was not in his usual happy mood. He knew what his master was feeling. "See if you can pick Kael's or Kaine's scent boy" Lupus said in a rather worried tone. Lobo barked in reply, showing he understood. He ran off trying to pick up any scent he could in the wreckage of the building and the sea of corpses using Oder Sleuth. He gave a reassuring look to Lupus, he believed he found the trail. Lobo bounded on ahead. Lupus saw Kael as he returned Kaine to her ball. Lobo Jumped forward on to the Green haired trainer, happy to see he was okay. Chevaleresse
Sarcus sat quietly in his chair. Though he was nearly motionless on the exterior, internal pressure was starting to build. Anxiety, fear, despair, and rage were swirling together, feeding off of one another and growing. As time passed, he grew more restless. He started tapping his foot on the ground. At first it was a bit subtle, but eventually it built to him nearly slamming his foot on the ground over and over as he heaved for breath. A crash and a roar from some other part of the building jolted him out of his frenetic reverie. He realized what he had been doing, and stopped. He couldn't show them signs of weakness like that; the Church surely had experienced interrogators. He became motionless once more. This was broken a few moments later as he thought of something. He started rubbing the ropes chafing at his wrists against the chair. It would be slow, and likely painful at some point, but maybe he could wear down the ropes to the point where he could break them. Sarcus, while fairly tall, wasn't particularly strong, so this plan would take a while. After deciding to carry his idea out, he shouted at the door again. "I know what you're trying to do. It won't work. I don't know anything relevant to the Church, and I sure as hell wouldn't tell you if I did." He knew that saying things like that wouldn't help his situation -if one believed most fiction, it would probably encourage them- but the all-too-familiar red haze was beginning to descend. Josh thought to him self as he overheard Aeons conversation on his phone well he was faking being knocked out . "So Aeon is not actually working for Team Dusk but id using them. Well on the plus side at least he did not kill me or the others. Though the other two are going to be quite grumpy i suspect. Well i guess its time to stop playing sleepy beauty and open my eyes." He said to himself as he grumbled something and opening his eyes. he whispered into Aeons ear well he was carrying him. "So you want to tell me exactly what that was all about Jake. Or we could do this the hard way and i can inject you with some very powerful poison which could take down a Snorlax with out any problem, which i rather not do because well, one you have information and i doubt that your one to tell me what i want to know because of the threat of death and two it takes quite a lot effort to produce this and well lets say i rather not use it on an allie...even one who hiding things from the whole group. Though i guess i am guilty of that as well. So deal after all i might be able to help you as well. We don't have to talk about it now unless you really want to." He had nowhere to go to, and he believed in the cause of this organization. Flux shook the man's hand, relief rushing through him. "I will lend what intellect I have and the strength of my Aggron to the cause of Team Dusk." He met the man's gaze. "I don't believe I ever got your name, though. The Radiant Aeon
"Arrogant fool, was it not me who saved you from Shauntal and her puppet?" Josh's face went to a glare. "Death does not frighten me, especially coming from a common cutthroat such as yourself. No principles." Aeon then countered Josh's glare with a calm, relaxed look, the face of murder incarnate. "If I could, I would've let Shauntal made you her puppet, a toy she can use. However, since you so embrace a more quick death, please notice who is behind you." Behind Josh, Sedona was in a battle position, ready to kill on command. "You can't summon Bruiser in time, Sedona and I lock you into a checkmate position, and your poison...well, is ineffective. considering Wing is connected to me." Aeon unbuttoned his shirt, showing a red feather in glass vial hanging around his neck. "The Wing gives me plenty of resources. It absorbs the essence of life from the deceased, transmogrifying them into two very reliable resources; Energy and Data. Should you not know your mythology, in ancient times, Yveltal was the Being of Destruction. It absorbed the souls of Mankind and Pokemon to sustain its life, and then entering a deep sleep soon after. That is the "Energy" portion of the Wing. It sustains me. It stores those energies, and can be taken, absorbed, used, recycled, or released. As for "Data," souls are the essence of life. They hold everything that is us; Dreams, Memories, Personality, Culture, Memes. The Wing converts them into usable Data, and there we take the info buried deeply in their memory, whether they remember or not. That is how we know the plots of the Church, for each kill is more information. Team Dusk was kept alive mainly die to this. At a price, the Wing slowly eats away at the wielder, should they not be protected. That is why I have been injected with nanomachines, to regulate and control the Wing. Many people of our organization have been injected, including Lucas. Though, he is a more special case." Aeon made a fist, holding the Wing. "I have come here for a special purpose. And no matter what, I'm to suffer a terrible fate, worst than death. But that, in itself, is one of many ways we will defeat Dawn." Aeon walked out to the streets, and commanded Sedona to knock Josh down. He could hear the blood coughing out of him. "I'll spare you this time. But should you make one reason to terminate you, I will show no mercy."Turned away still, Aeon chuckled. "Death is the only truth, you are but a mere bud. Thugs such as you will never understand, the meanings of Valor and Loyalty." Edited December 4, 2013 by Lunar081

Color
"Blade..this really really sucks." Color sighed, stepping forward to, yet, another door that, she assumed, could only lead to more mind-numbing hallways. Her body ached, her body reeked of the heavy, dank smell of blood and her teammates were no where to found. Did they kill all of the Church members? The acrobatic sighed, not wanting to continue on, but forcing her heavy legs to push onwards. She reached for the knob, turning it slowly and then hesitantly pushing against the wood with her shoulders. "Whoa...." The words spilled out accidentally, as she took in the destructive scenery before her. Chunks of fallen debris littered the forms in messy blankets of pebbles and dirt. Bodies and corpses littered various areas of the room, making Color's eyes widen at the grotesque sight. Blade stepped forward, her chocolate brown eyes lowering to mere slits. Her claws clicked loudly together, as her dagger-like tail dangled back and forth, alert and ready for a quick command. "Leaf!" She barked loudly, pointing her ears towards what looked like to be Josh and Aeon. Color pushed a spiked strain behind her ear, brought her hands over her lips in a cone-shaped and shouted. "Hey! Guys! What the hell are you doing?" Maybe they had seen her squad while they were traveling upwards and hopefully point her in the direction of where they all could possibly meet up. At least the anxiety of being alone would disappear.
Chevaleresse
Sarcus breathed deeply, and let the breath out slowly. He felt almost abashed about his previous state of mind, but overwhelmingly relieved. A bit wary that this might still be a trap, he steeled himself. "Team Dusk. I think you are, quite simply, brutal. I've seen a great deal of unneeded pain and suffering caused by your members. Your people have almost wantonly killed, ending dozens of lives simply because they stood in your path. You terrorized a number of young girls for simply being in the wrong place. You kidnapped me, and my partner, and kept me in a state of pronounced psychological trauma. However, you're the only ones who have the heart to stand up, and change this mockery of a world we now live in. I would be honored to join you." Sarcus stood, and extended a hand, the pressure of anxiety still heavy on his chest. "Now, where is my Absol? And the girl you took in with me?" Code: PIRULUK
(To Sarcus) Lucas scowled. "Dammit. I told those idiots to refrain from killing." He turned to Sarcus with almost a sheepish expression. "Sorry about them. They're quite the...extreme...group of people. Rest assured, I won't have you working with them. As for the girl...we're not quite done with her yet. We need to see her true intentions. Don't worry about it, though. I promise you we will not harm her. As for your Absol, follow me." Lucas led Sarcus out of the room and down the corridor. Coming to a set of pitch black double doors, Sarcus heard the sounds of an Absol whining from within. Lucas slowly opened the doors, and revealed Absolution, lying on the floor... ...whining in contentment as he was pampered by several professional Pokemon Breeders giving him a full-body massage and combing out his fur. Chevaleresse
Sarcus chuckled and walked over to the contented Dark-type. "Someone looks like he's enjoying himself." Absolution looked up at Sarcus and barked a happy cry, then settled back down. "I'll leave you to that, then." Turning to the breeders grooming his Absol, he gave them a small bow. "Thank you for making my friend comfortable. Could you just let him out after you're done? He'll be able to find me." He walked back to Lucas. "About what you said, about working with those people. Maybe it would be a good idea to have someone with a bit more moderation working with them? Plans can get out of control without a voice of reason to moderate them. While I'm not sure I would work well with them, I may be able to provide that reason." After saying this, he looked down abashedly, realizing he sounded more than slightly arrogant. "If you think that's a good plan, of course. " He cringed inwardly at how pretentious he still sounded to himself.
Pokelord
(Resumes the battle) "Dream Eater, now!" I exclaimed A white energy emits from her chest spike and proceed to faint the Gliscor. "Hmph.. that was the first of four, Hydreigon use Dragon Pulse on the wimp." "She called me a wi... wait on me crap" I thought. Suddenly Lenna teleported in the way of the pulse and took no damage. A confused expression emerged on my enemy's face. "What!" "Dragon Type attacks have no effect on Fairy Types like Lenna" I explained to the Concave Mother. *Cue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNBOU8sG-VM* "Moonblast, please" My partner shone with a moonlike shine and focus it at the foe. The Hydreigon still survived though. "I have to admit you are first opponent I fought the should be a challenge" (pauses it)
Skullkin
The jade haired trainer lightly pushed the houndoom away before rising to his feet. "I'm fine." he said in a cold grunt between his teeth. It was obvious that the actions of his team members enraged him greatly, and he was trying hard not to show it. Or at least be passive-aggressive about it. Kael was about to pass by Color when he heard what she had asked. A low growl rumbled in his throat,"Well, Josh thought it was a good idea to knock out his teammates with a sleep powder before taking on the conclave mother, and the other idiot thought it was a good idea to blow the whole damn place up and attract all sorts of attention. I'm getting the hell out of dodge before any cult reinforcements show up." he hissed bitterly, venom dripping from his pale lips as he carried his guitar case over one arm and continued heading towards the poke center to heal up his battered and bruised luxray. After letting Kaine recharge at the pokecenter, Kael sullenly returned to the large statue that they had met up at before and leaned against the granite figure, pulling a cigarette from his coat pocket and lighting it aflame with a small lighter. He took a deep drag off of the cancer stick and let the smoke curl out of his nostrils for a bit, before exhaling the blackness out of his lungs and into the cold air. "Damn arrogant punks." he muttered under his breath as he subtley put out the burning end of his cig on the Dawn statue behind him. He hoped that Lupus and Lobo showed up soon; their company might cheer him up, if not give him an ear to let off some steam about their reckless teammates. rustytengo
"Your calling me a cutthroat!" Josh said to Aeon well leaning on his knees and wiping the blood off his mouth. "Your the one who killed all of those girls for the sake of data, and don't talk to me about valor well your the one who kills for a living." Josh said as he stood up his eyes staring steadily at aeon even if his body could hardly stand "Damn that hit did more to me then i thought." Josh thought to him self. "And if you consider yourself loyal then i am glad i am not. See unlike you i actually had to live for people other then myself . I had to figure out how to protect them even when i was not there. I had to fight battles that i rather not have just so someone that was unable to didn't have to. I had to give up my family, and friends just so i could protect them. "Had" that is why i am here not out of loyalty to Team Dusk it was because i needed to protect those few people i actually care about. Well you, you just do whatever you like with out thinking of the consequence. You think no one will notice the giant explosion you cased, you think it will have no consequence to team Dusk and the others at all. If you just trusted what i said or waited to interrupt the battle we cold have avoided all of this. Hell if you waited for me to draw out the seers ace then maybe we could of ended her there. But nope you had to take things in your own hands and leave us all out of it. I put you three to sleep because if any of you three went and fought the mother you would not of lasted to her ace in your conditions. i was still at full strength so you really thought you could handle her in your condition well even i had trouble. Trust me when i say this if you think me a common thug then you are truly an idiot." Josh said harshly as his vision started to blur. The last thing he saw before fainting was the flash of red and the green vines of Bruiser wrapping around him and carrying him past Aeon to the meeting area.
