RANT I need help with the Dimensional Rift Garbodor

This thing seems literally impossible to kill even 12 v. 1 with Melia by my side. Like it's defences are sky high, 3/4 of its moves are HP draining or recovery moves. It gets massive boosts from the field, its ability AND its item. I managed to use Pyukumuku to change the field and it INSTANTLY brought it back with a Sludge Wave. It 1 shots most of mine and Melia's pokemon. I've tried using Knock Off to get rid of its black sludge but it hardly helps. I've tried paralysing it and for 5 rematches it didn't get paralysed one single time the whole fight. I've tried using Earthquake and while it does decent damage, this trashbag uses giga drain on my ground type, kills it instantly and gets all its HP back. I am at a complete loss. The ONE time I got it down to the red, it used recover instantly.

I don't know what to do. Please help. I hope whoever designed this fight steps on several legos and stubs their toe on something.

I beat this fight with a very cheesy strategy. Basically use a few pokemon with Flash to knock its accuracy down 6 times. You can buy flash in the basement of the hotel in the city.

Then send in a poison type. Garbador will struggle to hurt it with only sludge wave, giga drain and drain punch and will miss more often then not. If you allow healing items, just heal whenever you get low. If you do not allow healing items, then simply bring more poison types. Eventually it will run out of moves and start to struggle. Here is an image of me doing this as proof.

This is from an older version tho. But I imagine it still works.

Edit: I did this without items, so it should be very doable with items, you just need a little luck is all.

The easiest way to deal with it is to lower it's defensive stats. Using something like screech you can easily get it to -4 or -6 def at which point it becomes very easy to take down. You can do the same thing to it's spdef with fake tears. I'm not sure which mons will have fake tears, but there is an absolute mountain of different mons that learn screech/leer/something similar.
