NeoPwyll
so is safe to assume that noone menage to beat that? I look for guides and its outher fights, never this one, why is that? Am i dumb?
pizzagod13
I managed to win after a few tries (no items, Set mode, no mega/z-move). This fight is not too bad. Don't exactly remember my team but all my Mons had Max IV and were EV trained The fight is definitely possible. And compared to the next boss fight it is a walk in the park... For tips on how to win, try to paralyze it, magnazone with study is a good choice for this. It will be slower than you and at that point you can take it down. You can also try a cheesy strat with flash to lower its accuracy.
retep
I beat it (on intense difficulty with no items, set mode) with a very particular team. I led with bastiodon who proceeds to stealth rock turn 1, the opponent switched out the shadow pokemon turn 1 to the poke is a physical attacker and knows earthquake (forgot what it was). I then switched to rotom wash and will-o-wisp'ed it. I then switched to incineror for the intimidate. I then switched to blaziken and spammed bulk up and subsitute (with a lum berry for the hypnosis). I then switched into a swampert after enough bulk ups and with a substitute up such that the opponent did NOT break marshtomps substitute. Marshtomp then proceeded to sweep everyone until nagandiel. the nagandiel can 2 hit swampert, but because the substitute was still up, swampert could get 3 hits in and break the shields before fainting. That combined with the stealth rock damage was enough for priority attackers on my team to be able to wear it down with gem boosted stab attacks (including running dark gem on the previosly mentioned rotom-wash with sucker punch). Finally I was down to bastiodon and managed to finish it off with some (very weak) heavy slams. Very very tough fight, but beatable. Now I am stuck on the next fight T.T
retep
Unlike the other commenter tho I did use held items, just not bag items, and did have a mega stone on swampert.
NeoPwyll
the problem is im stuck. i have rare candy and xp candy but no evs nor ivs, at that point they should let us out, so we can iv and ev train. I just wonder WHO IDEA WAS THIS? i wanted to see how a random person could defeat that. everytime we had a boss battle they always (with a few exceptions) let us return to gather pokemon and gather stratgies, evs trains, items, ect..... Now not why??? and i see everyone saying the next one is harder. How??? (Don't answer) I realy have little motivation and no patience to deal with this dificulty, i will still try, but the next replay will be in the easiest mode Edited August 1, 2021 by NeoPwyll

Oh I use held items. I don't use potions is what I meant. Held items are perfectly fine except for Mega/Z-Moves. 1 hour ago, NeoPwyll said: the problem is im stuck. i have rare candy and xp candy but no evs nor ivs, at that point they should let us out, so we can iv and ev train. NeoPwyll
Does anybody knows if the the BOSS Naganadel, can get paralyzed? And by paralyzed i mean, it can prevent from moving? Edited August 3, 2021 by NeoPwyll
Cyphre
No. While their speed become halved, they cannot skip turns through para or confusion.
