Code: PIRULUK
Dual Screens Physical Bias Klefki (M/F) @ Light Clay Trait: Prankster EVs: 252 hp, 252 def, 4 SpD Calm - Light Screen - Reflect - Substitute - Thunder Wave/Toxic/Foul Play Klefki is one of those interesting cases where it has a great defensive typing in theory (fairy/steel) but mediocre stats. However, it has prankster, which is one of my favorite abilities. Klefki is the first prankster to have access to both screens, and this set capitalises on that. The EV investment is to pump up Klefki's disappointing HP pool, while giving it borderline decent physical bulk to help it take hits. Calm nature helps a bit on the special side, trading attack for more special defence. Since this is a dual screens set, the item choice of light clay should be self-explanatory. For the moveset, Dual Screens that you can set up at +1 priority helps you keep in Klefki to spread status mayhem or keep your sweeper alive through one set-up move. Last two moves are up to personal preference. Subsitute is to keep Klefki in longer; those dolls are going to be hard to break when protected by dual screens. if you do go with sub, last move should be either a status move or Foul Play. Status is a choice between toxic or Twave; toxic if you actually want to do damage to people, Twave if you have alternative damage sources on team. Foul play is to mindgame people. Upon seeing you set up one screen, your opponent will likely put in a setup sweeper and start to set up. When he does, you have 2 options: 1) swap in a fast Encorer (like whimsicott) or 2) sub and foul play
Maelstrom
Infiltrator Chandy would love to eat this klefki alive and has the typing and power to do it. Other infiltrator threats: Noivern Crobat Spiritomb- though this guy would quite easily fall into Acquiescence's encore trap Malamar Another move to think about is Heal Block for those people who run hydrarest vaporeon, roost, and the standard leftovers, giga drain, and set up drain punchers (I think). Code: PIRULUK
You can't have Foul Play with Swagger... jus saiyin... Oh? You can't? Why not?
Tomas Elliot
Breeding issues: as of now there isn't any Pokemon in Klefki's Egg Group that is capable of learning both moves... Pokemon Showdown hasn't updated the list of legal Egg Movves combinations yet!
Code: PIRULUK
But according to Serebii, Klefki can learn Swagger via TM and Foul Play by levelling...?
Tomas Elliot
In such a case I take back everything I said, I didn't know it could get Foul Play via level... Edited November 8, 2013 by Tomas Elliot
Magus
I prefer Meowstic over klefki for dual screens.
Code: PIRULUK
Yeah I saw what you said on the Meowstic thread. That said, I find Spikes Klefki to be kind of a waste, seeing as Stealth Rock tends to be a more potent hazard. Coupled with the fact that Ferrothorn and Skarmory are easily better hazard setters, using Klefki for spikes just feels off.
Tomas Elliot
Well, Spikes/T-wave/Swagger/Foul Play seems a pretty legit set to me... Paired with another Pokemon to set SR (Ttar for a Talonflame counter?) it can do well imo...
Magus
Meh just comes down to preference in the end.

Summer
The ANTI-KAMINA keys of power! Klefki (M) @ Air Balloon Trait: Prankster EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SDef Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Play Rough - Swagger - Thunder Wave - Psych Up This set is extremely fun to use against Kamina, the set up is pretty simple. Basically, if you haven't seen Liepard in action before, this set copies the offensive quickstall Liepard use to run, except this time Klefki here can resist actual stuff like Scarfed Garchomp (lol air balloon + fairy) and with sand, that SDef goes up considerably, so here's how it works. Enemy stupidly sent out a Garchomp! Volt Switch/ U-turn into Klefki Enemy's Garchomp used Sword Dance, being stupid and all! AT this point, use Swagger, or Psych Up if said idiot enemy already set up. Usually, they'll switch to avoid being copied, there's where you should already set your hazards. (try not to copy sticky web) At this point, your enemy has two choices 1. Avoid being copied and take delicious SR/Spikes damage 2. Stay in and hope to survive +2 Play Rough, which actually hurts even if it doesn't seem like it. You'll be toying with them with only one pokemon, see how ubers this thing is? We should put it in Ubers!

Summer
>Implying Volt Switch will work against Garchomp. I'm just saying Garchomp as an example. It could be a Dragonite or something idk.
SJMistery
but, on the egg moves issue, you can't just teach one of the moves first, breeding until you get a female kefki, and then breeed the another? female pokemon now pass egg moves in 6th gen too if i'm not wrong
