SoraBell
With the removal of Lycanroc, Crawli has become much harder to deal with, his coverage options are incredibly strong for this point in the game and speed has become even more of a deciding factor as he has sticky web on a sashed galvantula turn 1 and an Ariados that gets a free turn thanks to access to the Telluric Seed. Realistically speaking, his coverage is just insane for his set up, Fire-type pokemon have always been mediocre against him because of the perpetual rain, leaving Rock Types and Flying-types but the Flying type doesn't have alot of effective options. Talonflame is probably the best one, but galewings nerf makes him alot harder to use in a double battle. Pidgeot, and Noctowl are too slow and galvantula forces you to kill it through sash before you can use either. Rock types are also not that good anymore because all of the current options with the exception of swift swim Drednaw are slower than both his leads and even then, they both get 2 turns to just punish you anyway. This culminates in a set up of 2 Bug types that get 2 turns to attack you, one gets a free plus 1, they both have fantastic coverage for Rock, Flying, and Fire types or any combination of the 3 types thanks to giga drain(I believe he still has this on galvantula), thunder in rain, and stomping tantrum, sticky web set up forever losing you the speed advantage, and on top of all this. it's all focused on his first 2 pokemon. I've used a multitude of combinations of these pokemon and i can't break the set up Solrock drednaw Cinderace Primarina Weezing (reg) Toxapex Pyukumyuku Altaria (Honestly terrible) If anyone knows of a silver bullet pokemon that i missed, please let me know, because as it stands. crawli just seems way too stacked without having access to the speed advantaged provided by Lycanroc, accelrock being stab priority mattered alot when it came to cleaning up turns
Vum
im pretty sure you can get torkoal in the safari by breaking rocks, it is a 1 percent encounter but its drought negates crawli's rain. Doduo is quite easy to get in the route between sheridan and Goldenwood. I used torkoal to get drought and my cinderace, talonflame and staraptor swept through crawli's team edit: if you get a decently fast talonflame you might be able to use me first to wreck his setup and in that case you might not evenn need torkoal at all Edited August 4, 2021 by Vum

shadow of mars
according to the v13 guide you can't get torkoal in the safari zone so don't waste your time you could try double intimidate lead (like arcanine and mawile) to neuter ariados and/or a magic coat/bounce user (grumpig/xatu) vs. sticky web
nhehvnukl
I literally just used hariyama (to fake out galvantula), tailglow lumineon and dreadnaw, both swift swim and kinda just won. Swift swim waters are really good at this gym. Also, if you have enough achivement points, get some ev cards and train your mons and use the ev lowering berries from lost camp. triplebassist
I had no problem using Flying types. Xatu, Talonflame, and Crobat took care of him easily. Xatu was more of a sec, but Brave Bird and Acrobatics were plenty to shred that team down to its last mon and a half

You can also use the free Ducklett whose egg you get in Akuwa for Defog after removing Galvantula and more Pokemon gets access to Rapid Spin I believe.

There's a statue of a Kingdra there which is missing one of its wings. If you find the wing in Phasial Cave and beat the Kingdra, you're given the chance to cause a battle with 3 Zubats and a Crobat. One of the Zubats joins you after you win
Brauvo
For me, dreadnaw was a monster in that gym. Since there's always rain, swift swim is active. I just made sure not to let the sticky web barbed wire combo happen. I also used a Swoobat, since they can boost very quickly with simple. I'm sure some other swift swimmer can do dreadnaw's job (though fast+rock works amazing there) and some other pokemon that can boost stats quickly can handle Crawli. Just can't be a fire type, and some flying moves get kinda neutered there as well.

Faint
For future reference, Castform is great vs Crawli as well - and you can get right before you face him
