JK’S
Anyone got any advice on how to beat Angie, in v12 it was easier to beat her with lycanroc and torkoal being available early on, but since they’ve moved to after angies badge, I don’t get any strategies. Any advice?? (This first battle with Angie, not the new one in added in chapter 15)
Cyphre
Steel types, in particular you can catch Copparajah in Safari zone. Also get Oranguru from Hula meadow, he is the only pokemon who naturally learns Trick Room. Thick Fat Hariyama is a great addition too.
Enatsyrte
Oh, hum. I beat her last year so I don't remember well how I beat her. However, I remember I didn't use Torkoal or Lycanroc. You should study the field of your foe. I did it for each boss battle. The field of Angie is the Frozen Dimensional Field.
Enatsyrte
JK'S, when you start the battle, do you find this message "Hate and anger radiates." ?

I’ve changed the field using purify (pyukumuku) to change it to icy field. I also used heat wave (arcanine) to change it to a normal dimensional field but I still struggle to beat her. 6 minutes ago, Cyphre said: Steel types, in particular you can catch Copparajah in Safari zone. Thank you, the only steel types I have are magneton and Klang

Brauvo
There are a few good strategies. Mine was to not let her set up screens at all. On normal, the only aurora veil users are the first two pokemon. The only thing that makes the AI not use aurora veil is threatening offense, and that Jynx has fake-out so both leading pokemon need to threaten Jynx and Arctovish. I used a Pangoro with bullet punch to really scare her - Pangoro beat 3 of her pokemon by the time it fainted. I also had a Pyukumuku to toxic stall Rotom-F and Walrein. I finally needed something to counter the heavy-handed physical mons in the middle of her lineup. I used Ostagoon for that. Obstagoon's obstruct + attack combo is nasty. Its not actually hard to get rid of the dimensional aspect of the field with pyukumuku's purify, but I found it took too many turns to really change the field around. If you stall your offensive pressure against her first two pokemon, you'll see screens. If you aren't applying pressure for the beartic and crabominable, then you're getting punched out. That's most of the fight where you probably can't risk getting rid of the field, unless you're a brick break user or heavy defense team. If I had to offer just one single piece of advice, I'd say consider a pangoro or someone with similar utility.

JK’S
My strategy for handling jynx and arctovish is now gonna be using pangoro with bullet punch and A-raichu with absorb bulb to get SpAtk+ when arctovish uses surf, than hopefully get pyukumuku to purify and than set up a trick room with oranguru than hopefully sweep the rest of her team. Thanks for the advice guys hopefully it works
