If you go to the library in the east city you will run into Erin there and the dialouge shows that it is her absol. This happens after badge 1 I think? Maybe before badge two not sure exactly when I triggered it. EDIT: Just realized I am a dum dum. It is definitely after badge 1 before badge 2. Since Absol doesn't show up until after badge 1...
