RonomakiK
Hi, there! I'm planning on doing a Professor Oak Challenge in Spork and, before I start it, I wanted to ask something: this game uses the Pickup table (https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Pickup_(Ability)#Items_received - link for reference) from which game? I wanted to know to see the "best way" to farm Rare Candies (since I saw that you can get Lillipup in the training rooms in Virima Hotel). Thank you in advance! Global Mods Ice Cream Sand Witch Posted August 6, 2021 Global Mods Share Posted August 6, 2021 I haven't touched the Pickup table in Spork (I'm not sure where that data's located in Essentials), so it would be the default Essentials Pickup table, or at least Essentials v16.2, the version Spork uses. I'm not sure from which games that would be though. I apologize that that's as much as I know.
RonomakiK
That's okay. If we go by the release date, Spork should follow the ORAS Pickup table (Essentials v16.2 was released after ORAS and before SuMo). Either way, at least where Rare Candies are concerned, they don't seem to have changed that much from game to game. Thanks for answering anyway! ^^

I'm sorry to bring a similar question like this again (I just want to make sure I'm following the rules to a Professor Oak Challenge as best as I can. Do you know which generation Spork is using in regards of wild Pokémon's held item? Or, if it doesn't follow a specific generation, is there a file I can check to see if which held items does a wild Pokémon have? There's actually only one Pokémon that I need to know that info: Slowpoke. I wanted to know if it only holds Lagging Tail or if it can be holding King's Rock as well.
