Metagro
So the rift gardevoir, alongside Angie are the two banes of my existence. Gardevoir is stupid fast, hits stupid hard, has a stupid ability and fights in a stupid OP field. I actually dislike this fight because there's no reason for all the unnecessary buffs to it. Nevertheless, if you go in without a strategy, she will most likely one-shot all your mons. She carries a Lum Berry so she'll avoid an initial status effect. Perish song doesn't work because of her 'aura'. For a lot of mons with Sturdy she'll use lovely kiss to put you to sleep and chip off a bit of HP [terrain effect] and THEN use her OP move to one-shot. So what's the solution. Luckily the game hands you both the solutions - Mom's Sylveon and the Chesto Berry. The former is given to you in the desert, and the later is available in the shopping section of Hiyoshi city. There is an audino trainer in that section as well. This strategy assumes you have some extra cash on hand to work with because you'll need a fair amount of Hyper and Ultra Potions. I like to have 25 plus Hyper potions and around 10 ultra potions on hand. Train your Sylveon up to level 80 with the audino trainer, make sure it has a damage dealing fairy move, either moonblast or pixilate hyper voice is fine. Having calm mind is also very important. Luckily she comes with calm mind so as long as you didn't remove that, you're good. Equip the chesto berry on sylveon and start the fight. Gardevoir will go for lovely kiss [LK] and your chesto berry should get rid of the sleep. Use calm mind. She'll use LK again, its fine. Just wait out a few turns, constantly healing to keep your HP full. My non-EV trained Sylveon could tank 2 hits from Gardevoir at least, heal after every hit though and on alternate turns where your HP is full, go for either moonblast or one more calm mind for extra insurance. After 2 calm minds, heal up again, and once you break free from the sleep, go for those moonblasts. You should take out one shield with each attack and after that its just moonblast/Hyper voice central. Make sure you're constantly healing though, if Sylveon dies, the strategy is ruined. Rinse and repeat till she's dead on the ground. It's a cheese strategy but I personally find how OP this mon is to be pretty cheese too. So I don't feel bad whatsoever.

pitxhblank
i love you, i didnt realise she had nothing super effective against sylveon. youve set me free from hell. To make it even easier, go out and catch a ribombee outside the town in the grass, since if you get one with sweet veil you can't get slept and it makes life a heck of a lot easier. Take it from me as someone who got never dodged a lovely kiss and got max turn sleeps everytime and burnt 20 ultra potions for free. Also you could try memento'ing at the beginning with a sash mon, but in my game i could swear memento was bugged since it didn't show -2 on her stats when you pressed 'S' on her. Hope anyone else struggling with this doesn't have to anymore.
Metagro
Glad I could help. And yes, I completely forgot about ribombee. To the game's credit, they hand you the solution to the problem, but I was pulling my hair out for sure.
321_King_123
When it was V12 i remember i used a Substitute, Calm mind, Hyper Voice, if i didnt out-speed, i putted chesto berry, and if i did, i substitute´d. But honestly... I understand you. I swear, this thing have more hp then A FREAKIN BLISSEY! (last time i checked anyway...) In v12 it was a 6 v 4/6 (dont remember) battle, it was a double and she had Ralts and Kirlias to constantly set you up either sleep and confusion, annndd they have 100% accuracy of course. Idk if in V13 it was a single-battle, but dear lord... I cant imagine this thing with shields
pitxhblank
i found it way easier in v12 tbh, a lot of v13 has felt more difficult in terms of bosses compared to v12

For me it worked a little earlier. I tried the fight with the Sylveon on Normal & Casual and it worked with the Mysty field (it got fixed and works now) to now let me fall asleep buffs my hyper voice without buffing with Calm mind and only healing if needed. Normaly after I take 1-2 hits or when the field is over. Before the field worked I used Safeguard to keep her from sleeping my Sylveon The Chesto berry is like you said a must have. Normaly the Hyper Voice buffed with Pixilate is mostly enough without buffing. Buffing for Spdef didnt do much cause she used Sacred Sword all the time which is physical. In my opinion it is one of the fights that got waaay harder compared to v12. I dont want to nitpick and still wanna say big thank you for the tip and wished I saw your post before I beat her in a few runs. She is still the fight I hate the most in the game and make me break my no switching Pokemon out rule. I havent found another way to beat her
Lucifer Morningstar
In V12 I used a seed for Trick Room on entry, Misty Terrain to nullify LK and a double Moonblast assault from TWO Sylveons, Mom's and one I evolved from the HC Eevee. Mom's was also able to pull off one Calm Mind. Sweet Veil Ribombee probably would have worked here as well and I had caught a shiny one as Ren but I didn't know about Sweet Veil and I got the Misty Terrain strat from another thread here. $hadow
For v13 I used Grapploct with a focus sash so I octolocked on turn one lowered its defenses, then I used someone with magical seed to setup trick room and was able to one shot its shields and kill it in like 3 or 4 hits
MhicKy
My strat was to use a Vespiqueen with Toxic to remove her Lum Berry (EV trained on S.Def), get it KOed, switch to Boltund with a Focus Sash and use Nuzzle to paralyzer her, from there on my mons could attack first so I just chipped her and won
