I can't beat Aya!

My team is:

Lvl 45 Charizard

Lvl 45 Scrafty

Lvl 45 Liligant

Lvl 45 Gardevoir

Lvl 45 Gyarados

I use Gardevoir and Scrafty to sweep the first half of the team together. Liligant is used as a filler when Gengar comes out. After half of my and Aya's team have fainted, I use my remaining Charizard and Gyarados on the remaining Muk, Seviper, and Drapion. It usually comes extremely close, but I still can't manage to beat it.

*yawn* A bit of a late-nite answer but here are some suggestions.

Agreeing with below. Save Scrafty for later. Drapion doesn't really have any decent moves in it's moveset that can threaten Scrafty so just spam HJK and obliterate it.

As far as your team build. I'm going to honest, you have the most balanced team that I have seen to have run into a wall/problem like this. If you are willing to ditch pokemon, there are many great pokemon still available in your part of the game that could be very helpful. [Examples: Zangoose, Mudkip, Magnezone, Lucario, Bulbasaur, Abra] If not, it's just a matter of strategy. Battle Aya a bunch of times and figure out her strategies so you can counter it and alter your results. I wish you luck and I hope you can defeat Aya's team!

It's best to get rid of Muk asap, because if that thing sets up a few Minimizes it's very annoying to take down. Regardless, I think I have a little strategy for you. Try leading with Lilligant and Gardevoir, assuming Lilligant has Sleep Powder. Also, assuming you have Calm Mind on your Gardevoir, set up a couple; 2-3 should be enough. Make sure you have plenty of Super Potions or Ice Cream to heal. As for Drapion I'd recommend switching Gardevoir out for Scrafty as soon as it hits the field, and then put it to sleep if Lilligant is still on the playing field. Watch out for Gengar because if I remember correctly that thing has nice coverage. Magnezone is apparently a nice Pokemon to have when fighting Aya, and out of the ones Cowtao listed, it is your best bet. If you can get one I would highly suggest switching Lilligant out for it. It would take away the former strategy, but you gain a nice immunity. Ground types are fairly useless against her since most of the ones you get are too slow and she has some way of dealing SE damage to them. I'd just stick to what you have other than Magnezone. Anyway, keep Gardevoir alive at all costs, as well as Scrafty since you don't have much to deal with Gengar and Drapion. You can also set up Dragon Dances with Gyarados late game, and sweep then. But just keep some potions handy, like mentioned before. Prevent Muk from setting up evasion, and don't let Tentacruel stay on the field too long. Prioritize taking out Gengar and Drapion when they show up as they threaten your team the most. Guess that's it.

Get a Quagsire. LIFE SAVER. Use Amnesia x3 . Since most of her poke just use sludge wave which is a special attack move. And just spam Earthquake (it learns it at lvl 36 which is really early for a good move. or 33 for a wooper.) . For the Gengar just use Scrafty :P . It was easier for me since I have a mr.mime who can set up a light screen . so my SP.DEF was trough the roof !! Hope it helps :3
