Question about V13 item Interceptor´s Wish

So I´m at the part where you have to choose to pick which path you want, and you get the notification later during the part where you get the option to use it or not. Is there any consequences for using it lore wise?

If you activate it, you use your own team instead of the playable character's one

I think that's the only thing it changes

That, and you get to use your own items instead of the NPC's.

I just never used it on my current file since I wanted to see how well equipped the NPCs were for the scenarios. Turns out they're adequate enough to not need help.

as some of the previous posts said it lets you use your team and items instead of whatever they normally have.......... that and you get s brief line of dialogue from them commenting on how they can feel your energy or something to that effect

 

basically its a means of making the scenarios easier if you so choose
