I just downloaded the new version, extracted it, and tried running the game, ended up with black and green stripes with all the visuals all buggy, with the colors screwed up and like. The game is broadly unplayable. Can't even start the game in a reasonable state (like, it's theoretically playable, but the visual issues are so bad it's unplayable).
