Alep-h
Trying to finish my Rainbow Team building before starting yet another run, but can't decide the last three members. Right now the team has the expected lead duo of Ninetales and Pelipper, and third is Togekiss. Ideally I'd want a grass pokemon somewhere, maybe Cherrim fits? Sun-friendly, Weather Ball, etc. Roserade would be cool if Weather Ball was a TM, but that's gen 8 territory. Considered Primarina too, but unsure about yet another pokemon weak to eletric in the team. Also considered Altaria to play with Cloud Nine shenanigans, and at least is neutral to eletric. Any suggestions? Every input is welcome.
Rendolf
According to Bulbapedia, Roserade gets Weather Ball by level up in gen 7 and Cherrim doesn't, in case that was your major hold up.
Disalign
Hi! I run a rainbow team, and I have a few pokemon I like to switch in and out on it depending on the strength of those pokemon or opposing teams: I enjoy pokemon like Alolan Ninetales, Froslass, or Vanilluxe because rainbow enables Aurora Veil, I like cosmic power stored power Clefable (or any pokemon that can run that combo) because of the +2 +2 defenses that rainbow can offer, Mismagius with Magical Leaf and Mystical Fire, typical Roserade set, and Marvel Scale Milotic are also pokemon I really enjoy on this team, Cloud Nine Altaria and Mega Altaria is a very powerful choice, especially if you tech in the ability to quickly swap over to misty terrain to empower pixelate. This also powers up Telepathy Gardevoir and Mega Gardevoir, and then allows her and Delphox to make use of Psychic Terrain specifically. Delphox and Primarina are good "Fire + Water pledge" users, with Primarina having Misty Terrain as well and holding an amplified rock. You could of course switch to a more grassy sun rainbow team, and my recommendations for that would be Bellossom, Lilligant, Cherrim, Roserade, Florges, and Comfey! I really like this grassy rainbow team ideia. I wonder why Bellossom particularly? Would it be a standard attacker set or a more defensive one to go with Florges? Shiftry would also be another option, it'd be up to you to make the decision on which sunny grassy/rainbow pokemon you'd like to run on the team. But for Bellossom specifically, it can learn Grassy Terrain, Nature Power, Petal Dance, and Quiver Dance for a good specially defensive Setup and Sweep set under grassy sunlight.
