Sapphire
This is my in game competative wifi team. @ Assault Vest Trait: Gooey EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Dragon Pulse - Flamethrower - Focus Blast - Ice Beam Goodra is my all purpose special tank, being able to take pretty much any special attack, being able to get SE on most things, and having Gooey for messing up physical attackers when she dies. He can ohko Garchomp, Salamence, the occasional Flygon, anything with a x4 fire weakness. Focus Blast is there for TTars and other Dark types, while Dragon Pulse is the general STAB.@ Mawilite Trait: Intimidate EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Play Rough - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Swords Dance Mawile is my Mega. Intimidate is good for stopping physical attackers. In Mega form, Sucker Punch does amazing damage by itself, and can OHKO pretty much everything after Swords Dance. Play Rough and Iron Head are general STABS for things that would survive a sucker punch, or for things that I think will use support moves.@ Choice Scarf Trait: Imposter EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Transform - - - Ditto is...Ditto. Used to counter sweepers and...that's about it. @ Leftovers Trait: SturdyEVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 DefImpish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Avalanche - Recover - Curse - Toxic Avalugg is my physical tank, with Toxic for some support. Sturdy ensures that he can survive a hit from special attackers, and then use Avalanche or Toxic depending on what's he's facing, and his defence means he can take hits from pretty much any physical attacker, and after a curse or two he can outheal anything with recover and leftovers. @ Life Orb Trait: ProteanEVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SpdTimid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Grass Knot - Ice Beam - Surf - Dark Pulse Greninja is my all purpose sweeper. Can ohko a good bit of the metagame, and can ohko other Greninjas with Grass Knot. Lots of differant moves so that he can cover a wide variety of types. Grass knot helps deal with things like Snorlax, Ttar, and other water types. @ Black Sludge Trait: Poison PointEVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDefModest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Sludge Wave - Dragon Pulse - Thunderbolt - Rest I'm not really sure what Dragalge is here for, aside from being able to kill fairys and being Shiny. I'm probobly going to replace him with a Salamence once I train one up. In the meantime, he's the only Dragon who takes neutral damage to fairy moves [Charizard X doesn't count]. Sludge Wave does huge damage to any fairy, while Dragon Pulse is his secondary STAB. Thunderbolt is there for coverage, and Rest is there because I couldn't think of another move and I wanted something to differentiate him from Goodra. Shiyaribetsu (Goodra) (F) @ Assault Vest Trait: Gooey EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk) - Dragon Pulse - Flamethrower - Focus Blast - Ice Beam Tamahagane (Mawile) (F) @ Mawilite Trait: Intimidate EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Def Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Play Rough - Iron Head - Sucker Punch - Swords Dance Ditto @ Choice Scarf Trait: Imposter EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Spd Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk) - Transform Avalugg (M) @ Leftovers Trait: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def Impish Nature (+Def, -SAtk) - Avalanche - Recover - Curse - Toxic Shinobigatai (Greninja) (M) @ Life Orb Trait: Protean EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk) - Grass Knot - Ice Beam - Surf - Dark Pulse Dokujiya (Dragalge) (M) @ Black Sludge Trait: Poison Point EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 SDef Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk) - Sludge Wave - Dragon Pulse - Thunderbolt - Rest Threats:Alakazam-Blaziken-Breloom-Chandelure-Chansey-Cloyster-Conkeldurr-Ditto-Dragonite-Espeon-Ferrothorn-Garchomp-Genesect-Gengar-Gliscor-Gyarados-Haxorus-Heatran-Hydreigon-Jellicent-Jirachi-Jolteon-Latios-Lucario-Machamp-Metagross-Mienshao-Porygon2-Reuniclus-Rotom-W-Salamence-Scizor-Scrafty-Serperior-Skarmory-Slowbro-Tentacruel-Terrakion-Thundurus-Togekiss-Tyranitar-Volcarona-Whimsicott-Zapdos-Celebi-Darmanitan-Heracross-Mandibuzz-Wuagsire-Sableye-Sigilyph-Smeargle-Starmie-Suicune-Toxicroak-Virizion-Hippowdon+Excadrill-Tyranitar+Landorus-Ninetales+Venusaur-Abomasnow+Walrein-Politoed+Kingdra-Politoed+Ludicolo-Politoed+Vaporeon-Chansey+Skarmory-Scizor+Rotom-W-Ferrothorn+Jellicent- Edited November 26, 2013 by Secundum
Summer
Uh it looks like you only took 5 minutes to do this RMT. What do you expect from us?
Code: PIRULUK
What Summer said. Also, might I suggest tossing a Shadow Sneak onto Greninja? Protean Shadow Sneak makes Greninja a prediction nightmare.
Sapphire
Does Greninja learn Shadow Sneak by level up or by egg move? Cause I'm not looking forward to breeding another one with perfect IVs.
Magus
You should really get someone to rapid spin away entry hazards, as they will break sturdy and be your nightmare late game.
Sapphire
This for wifi though, and at the moment, hazards essentially don't exist, as there is no TM or move tutor for rocks in XY.
SJMistery
Try Draco meteor in Drgalgle, rest assured it will work better than Rest (pun unintended). I also see Dialga doesn't count either Edited November 26, 2013 by SJMistery
Sapphire
Tryed Draco Meteor, it worked horribly. Dragalge isn't there to be switched out all the time. And no, Dialga doesn't count as this is a) Pre-pokebank so no Dialga, and Dialga is uber.
SJMistery
It depends on how you use it, tough really, Dragalgle doesn't suit for Hit and run, that is more akin to Latios and Hydreigon, sorry for that stupid comentary. Tough Rest doesn't seem really usefull in my opinion... Edited November 26, 2013 by SJMistery
Sapphire
I know, it's essentially there so he's not a worse Goodra. Dragalge is mainly in the team just because he's Shiny [and for toxic spikes]. It's helped quite a bit though.
Magus
This for wifi though, and at the moment, hazards essentially don't exist, as there is no TM or move tutor for rocks in XY. True, but rocks can still be bred on to pokemon, and sticky web will cripple your speed sweepers, along with your revenge killing ditto. Sapphire
I know they can be bred, but the amount is still pretty low. Stick web IS a problem, and while I haven't faced it yet, etc. Once bank comes out I'll swap Dragalge for a Defog Scizor.
Tomas Elliot
Wait a min, isn't Avalugg a Rapid Spinner?
SJMistery
Really, I seriously consider Sticky Web to be OP. Cripples anything offensive bar flying types and levitators. I prefer Empoleon for Defog job, as he carries a resistance to SR, can put his own stealth rock again so is not a problem remove them from your side, has toxic and roar as nice support options, and is slow anyway so SW is not a problem. th only problem is that for some bizarre reasons he cannot learn Roost. damn it, a mantis can use it and a penguin no? Sapphire
Wait a min, isn't Avalugg a Rapid Spinner? He is. I'm still debating over to stick in rapid spin over curse or toxic. The simple fact is, hazards just haven't been a problem for me thus far.
SJMistery
excluding ditto, who switches in and out a lot by nature, your team doesn't fear hazards so a spinner seems barely usefull at best
