Kill Fern off. He such a jerk, calling you a noob and left you in that cage to rot. And totally a heartless bastard when Corey died.

And to add insult to injury, he did what Gary Oak did to to Ash

"Fern was here, (player's name) is a loser"

I was thinking Ame should give us the choice to kill him, just because in pokemon there are not that many choices and having something that effects the plot would be really cool, and satisfying.

If I were the developer of pokemon reborn I would probably put in that plot in pokemon black and white in the end cause i like that shit, except it would be me and fern controlling Reshiram and Zekrom.

and in the end after i beat his sorry ass there is a cutscene where whoever dragon Fern controls betrays him and joins my side,

then suddenly both dragons burst into an outrage and got angry at Fern...Zekrom was like charging his Fusion bolt while Reshiram was doing the same with his Blue Flare and both are aiming at Fern. Fern was like pleading for his life and begging like a bitch.

then there's like an option were you choose to spare Fern's life. (Y/N)

No = Fern gets obliterated into pieces!

Yes = Fern gets obliterated into pieces!

add reborn-specific move tutors, to teach low and mid level typed moves to pokes who need them (and make the cost low or easily obtainable),

make sure that there are good places to level and get cash in the game (not just pickup),

make all the items for evolutions readily available if not buy-able,

add in-game volume/time controls,

and change the weather system to be easier to work with (rather than having to cheese the system).

I want to be clear though: This game, as it stands, is incredible.

Of all the Jerkwad things I could think involving fern, this is like...not even worth mentioning, its like the least of his sins.

If I were the dev, I'dve put Absol in game already. Hint hint nudge nudge glare glare.

On topic: An option to use your own character sprites from the site (not that I don't like the ones in-game), and/or more forum members as battleable trainers. Preferably with their favorite OU team.

Every trainer in the game is a person from the forums. At least so far they are, we used to have that topic open and it got.. a shit ton of posts so Amethyst had to close it.

Most of the trainers in the game are not from the request topic, though in places that just needed generic trainers (Opal Bridge) I pulled from there as often as I could.

However, minute, though it may be, I realised that continuing to do that was weakening the game, and thus I no longer am ( -- sorry about that).

I think a few "specialty battles" would be cool. Like a few people who do triple/rotational battles, and an inverse battle guy, and someone who does sky battles. I guess these people could be thrown about the region (preferred), or put in a special place, and then I'd make a timed battle, where you would have very strict time limits to win the battle, and it could be thrown into the story pretty well. You have 2 minutes to get past this guy before the timer goes off, and if you don't, you "white out". There could also be a few "practice" time battles with normal trainers who don't make you white out and instead end it in a draw.

I would be all over triple and rotation battles if I could have them, but the scripts the game runs on don't support them and the person who made them has openly said he has 0 intention to include them ever :c

It's a waste of creative space to have random trainers making personal allusions that only a few people are going to get or enjoy, versus having those same trainers alternatively making comments that reinforce the game world.

For instance, let's take the Peridot Ward as an example (even though I never included user trainers there in the first place, a lot of them are still rather arbitrary). The trainers up in West Peridot actually make allusions to them being in gangs as you battle them (West side, represent, yo!) which actually adds to the feel of the area. If these were user-submitted characters then using them to set that atmosphere wouldn't be a viable option, so the creative potential is lost.

if I was the developer of reborn i would make every trainer in the victory road area be completely unique, and have a full team of 6 pokemon and each have their own sprites. much like what I'm planning on doing in pokemon sigil. it helps when you have an off campus class dedicated to thecreation of pixel art like i do. of course, the leader sprites i have on my profile(most of them anyways) are still ame's so im not going to insult her work because it's still very respectable.

I would also add more lower tier threats like harvest tropius in lower levels because they don't pack much of an offensive punch but can take ages to take down. this is coming from the guy who gave the first leader in his game a level 15 harvest tropius and ending up putting the Incinerate TM because there was no real efficient way to beat it otherwise, especiallly because due to my inborn hatred of them, I completely removed random crits. I'm not bringing them back. Luck is bad, and those who rely on it are pathetic

If I were the developer of Reborn, I would change the set battle mode to not tell you what Pokemon the opponent is going to send out. Instead of saying "The opponent is about to send in Weavile! Would you like to switch?" it would say "The opponent is about to send in their next Pokemon! Would you like to switch?"

I'd also make the wonder launcher the only way to use items in battle, both for the AI opponent and the player.

If I were the Developer, I would do two things with the story:

1. Have Adrian team up with you after xe finds out that meteor is responsible for the destruction of Reborn.

2. Around the time that you are getting to the 15th badge, you escort Suicune to the lake which the city is situated at to purify it. This would be a heavily symbolic and mark a true deathblow to Meteor's ambitions as a single pokemon has undone the poisoning that it is implied to have taken years to do to the lake.

One other thing: I'd make it so that if you have a Pokemon with an HM move, and you press A on an object that HM move could be used on, it would automatically use it instead of asking you if you want to use it. RPGmaker games are such lag fests, I think anything should be done to streamline the gameplay so you're not spending 20 seconds staring at a tree.

Cain still hits on the player even if they're a girl, because he's pan', not gay, so it still is a bit awkward. But since we're basing the characters off of the online events I wouldn't go gender-swapping anyone

Now to answer your question about lesbian jokes in that context, now that i actually am on the same page as you: If we did swap Cain out for a female equivalent it wouldn't be quite as funny as straight guys being hit on by him, because divergent sexuality is more accepted for women. So it doesn't really have the same impact.

Ah, I finally know.

I may be heterosexual, but damn Cain is cute.

I would add a group of "power ranger" style characters each having a type associated with them, you would have to battle them six times and each time they add a pokemon to their arsenal. example I would call them the Argon Warriors, Argon Orange would use fire pokemon. the first time you battle him he uses a Growlithe, then his second battle would be both Growlithe, and Quilava. Third battle would be Arcanine, typlosion, torkoal. I would have them as a side quest/s for items to get into the area of arceus. it would be a test of hide and seek/ and a retrial of battling each type.

Also I would add the fossil pokemon into the area the fairy gym leader was in, maybe a secret place a little lower with only fossils type pokemon or pokemon that look more dinosaur ish

I would add special Pokemon with an type change, for example, a unique Totodile with different colors and let's say type: Water/Ground.

Since Reborn takes place in a ruined/poisonous state, would make sense that certain Pokemon have to change type to survive the harsh invironment.

I wouldn't remove the original pokemon, but rather add a totally new one, with different stats and new moves and type.

I think it would be a fun challenge to find all mutated/changed Pokemon, but that's what I would add to this game!

I dun get those first two..

Dratini only starter, and only grass and flying types before the first gym. Also, I would give her a level 20 Abomasnow with Blizzard. Oh and if you actually did manage to beat her, your game would crash.

All interesting ideas.

I only recently discovered this game, but I have to say I'd like to see something that I've always enjoyed when it occurs in the show, and that is when Ash was always chosen by the big legendaries and they lie spoke to him and taught him the true spirit of christmas or something like that. No but I think it would be cool where there's a part that involves communicating with some of them. I could see like the main protagonist dying and Mewtwo telling him it isn't his time and that he must go back. Because learning life lessons from pokemon really takes me back to the glory days lol.

I think it would also be cool if secret bases were brought back. I loved decorating my base. I think secret bases were one of the coolest things they did with Pokemon because it gave you a place that was your own.

Hmmm, so far I can only think of 1 idea & I'm not sure if its been talked about yet or not, but what about having your lead Pokemon follow you around, like in Heartgold/Soulsilver?=O
