Administrators Amethyst Posted November 15, 2013 Administrators Share Posted November 15, 2013 So as I'm sure you guys know, Reborn has some custom items, which means graphics for them don't exist. Which means we get to make them! This is a task for spriters- albeit a relatively easy one. I could do it myself, buuut I figure if we're trying to free up my schedule this is definitely something you guys should be able to handle. Item graphics- i,e the little icons that appear when you're selecting an item in the bag- should be 24x24 (or 48x48 when resized to the 2x resolution the game processes them at, but they still need to be created at a 24x24 level). Feel free to use other existing item icons (Pokemon Reborn/Graphics/Icons/) as a base for editing or making them. I'll post a bit about what I have in mind for each item necessary to create a graphic for, and then the rest is on you guys. Reveal hidden contents Membership Card- This is for the Obsidia Department Store. Any sort of keycard graphic will do- you might even be able to find an existing one to recycle. Warehouse Key- A literal, generic key. It should look somewhat old- potentially rusted. If you want to make it more distinct, it fits warehouses in the Coral Ward, and Coral's theme colour is pink, so maybe have part of the key be pink. Bike Voucher- Could look like a piece of paper or generic card? Again you may be able to find an existing icon to recycle or edit Mining Kit- What does a mining kit look like? I think a pick-axe is a given- maybe a small satchel or some kind? A hard hat? Some spare gems? Include whatever looks best to you. Link Stone- See the other evolutionary stones for reference or edit. In my head, the link stone has always looked like LoL's 'Catalyst the Protector', potentially including the 'infinity' symbol on the front of that item. If someone has a better design than that, by all means please show me. c: Harbor Key- This should look very similar to the Warehouse Key, but perhaps a bit cleaner/newer. This belongs to Amaria, so it could maybe have a blue part, or maybe like a Lapras Keychain? Railnet Key- This is a large, metal key that opens old, heavy doors. Make it big and clunky, old and forgotten. Chocolate Ice Cream- I think you can figure this one out. Strawberry Ice Cream- This one too. Vanilla Ice Cream- Yeah, yeah. Medicine- I couldn't have been more generic with this item name. c: It could be almost anything you can imagine a human medicine coming in. Hell, edit a potion graphic if you want. Rare Candy- What? This isn't a custom item! No, it's not, but we're going to use the existing Rare Candy graphic for the Common Candy because it's so boring. Edit that one to make this- maybe give it rainbows. PopRocks- I think we all know how this candy works. Peppermint- Like those ubiquitous ones every restruant gives out. Edit the current rare candy graphic for this. Salt Water Taffy- Looks kinda like the current rare candy graphic, but instead of being round, the candy should be like, hexagonal, and probably a bit thicker. The wrapper should be white, but because it's transluscent the colour of the body of the candy shows through. This taffy should be blue, to reference water. Google images if you don't know what I'm describing. Chewing Gum- What does gum look like? I mean, preferably still in the wrapper... Red-hots- Again, google images these if you dont know what they are. These are kinda tricky. You could do a pile of them, or have some spilling out of a box (don't bother including words on the box). I don't want the image to be just the box though. Cotton Candy- Go nuts. Amethyst Pendant- Fancy neckalce crystally thing! but purple Ruby Ring- Fancy ring crystally thing! but red Yureyu Key- Black Key with some red letters across it. Can look fairly old. Maybe it has some wasteland grime stuck to it? When you have as many as you want to do, done, zip up the files, (7-zip is good if you don't know how to do that) and upload them somewhere (such as Mediafire or another file-hosting service) and post the link here. Or, if it's only one or two, feel free to post them using whatever image service you like as a reply individually.. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
