Nexen57 Posted April 21, 2022 Share Posted April 21, 2022 So after some reasearches I found that actually there was a Reborn League in Pokemon Online and that the game was created from its characters. But I also saw that some events that happened to the Reborn League gym leaders also happened in game. And there really crazy things that happen in game so could someone confirm that ? I'd take that with a grain of salt. Hard to believe that real people commit suicide, or a child was adopted by a complete stranger to it. Actually, electroshocks as a therapy IS a thing in treating mental conditions, with confirmed positive effects, but the effects are often temporary. Nowadays it is, of course, a painless voltage/amperage applied, but it is rarely used anyway, due to the reception and low effectiveness. Regardless, some of the events happened in real life (suicide, custody battle, post-trauma amnesia after a car crash, etc.). There is also this G.Gardevoir interview in the TV saying that Amaria demolished the administrator (or so) checking if she's still able to hold her gym leader position - thats also real-life inspired.
