So I have a question about TMs... Do they have to be pre-existing TMs in the Pokemon Games, or could you add in a TM for something like Wood Hammer or Metronome if you wanted to?

I'm curious for a couple reasons, A ) because I'm a little curious about how they work programming wise, and

B ) because it would be amazing to have an Ice Punch TM eventually

The original code is from Ruby version which didn't contain many of the TM's we are used to now heck going into the 6th generation? Jeez I'm starting to feel old now. Heck in other RPGMaker games I've seen people create entirely new moves and make them into TM's. Your answer is yes it COULD be done.... but it WON'T be done. Ame is adding the 6th gen moves in for release 10.5 and I'd have to imagine the only new TM's that will be coded in will be the 6th gen ones.

Correct; I want to maintain loyal to the current TM usage for two reasons:

1) I don't want to significantly stray from the metagame because this is originally a competitive battling community

2) I don't feel comfortable taking the creative license on existing Pokemon to make the judgment call of which can learn what move
