Giratina's door puzzle

Could someone tell me the steps to solve that puzzle ?

Because I can't figure out the logic in it and how it works. I tried following the video guide but my puzzle got messed up and I have no idea what to do.

Edit : Nevermind, I took an earlier backup save and retried more slowly. But I would still really like to understand how that puzzle works.

You have to recreate the shades of grey of the cracks in the middle.

by interacting with the middle you combine the colors of one tile of each side coloumn together

and by interacting with the side colums you can regulate which of the tiles is on top and with that which ones you combine.

I'm stuck in that Giratina puzzle and cant solve it, I followed the guide for it like 5 times and it still doesn't solve it, is my game glitched or something?

How do you start the byxbysion part of the quest? I beat Zina in the Deoxys area, and she asked me to go to byxbysion. but the door in the guide just says "locked" when i approach it

Turn 5 canisters in that area to red.
