Uncertain about something in Route 4

I have spotted something on Route 4 and have tried a couple of things but don't know how to activate the event.

 

I found an old campfire site, when I interact with it, it says "something glimmers in the cinders of the campfire, but it's impossible to pull out. Perhaps a spark would draw it out?"

 

Since I have no idea what this event is, I don't know what to ask or how to tag it or even if there's a spoiler involved.

 

I've tried using electric and fire moves, including running back for a Pokemon with ember and another with spark.

Can anyone help?

 

This is my first playthrough of any chapter of Pokemon reborn and i've done it mostly blind.

EDIT: Everytime you see a message like that pop up when you enter a map like this, there's a good chance it means you will have to manipulate the field somehow. Using the text itself and the field notes are the keys to figuring these out in the future should they pop up!

Thankyou, that solved it. I thought it may have been a move affecting the field like when I darkened a gem cave to get a specific wild pokemon but couldn't figure out the moves that would do the job.
