Kamado
So what I will be doing is enabling permadeath, enabling pulse2, No Health Items, Set and enabling no ivs for me. What I will be doing though for qol is piñata for easy farming, minty fresh for ideal natures since they will be necessary and shiny charm because I want shiny. Don't judge. Anyways what I mean by nuzlocke is it has to be in a different part of a ward or a different ward. Like lower peridot ward and upper peridot. I count those separate. But gift pokemon count as an encounter. I will probably use blaziken as a starter unless anyone else has better suggestions? If so feel free to Give me some. Yk what I mean vern Edited May 21, 2022 by Kamado
Seel The Deal
I've actually been doing something very similar, just with slightly different encounter rules (1 wild + 1 event per notable named area, maybe a bit too lenient but wilds only or using a random number generator isn't feasible on PULSE2 and having wilds is really nice for variety), without no ivs, but also no mints and a few bans (Blaziken and Amplifield Rock, most notably). also hell yeah shinycharm Charmander is probably the best alternate starter. Chewing through the PULSE Tangrowths' bulk with direct damaging moves can take literally 8+ turns in some cases so having a set 40HP move to just clean 3HKO is insane. I've been rolling with Mudkip so far and honestly it's such a huge mistake, it's been basically useless outside of Julia lmao it hits like a wet noodle good luck! Kamado
Ok thanks for the advice. I will probably do that.
robert1122
A **Pokémon Reborn Pulse 2 Nuzlocke** with **No IVs**, **No Health Items**, and on **Set mode** creates an extreme challenge. You can only catch the first Pokémon in each area, can't heal during battles, and must play without stat advantages. The "Set" battle style removes the ability to switch Pokémon before an opponent sends out a new one, making every decision critical for survival. This setup demands intense strategy and careful planning.
