EV Training in GDC?

I'm so excited when I reach GDC because I caught some decent pkmns that I need to breed (eg maril for slurpuff's belly drum).

 

But then I realized, the Ev training rooms are in Gearan, and I'm basically trapped until I beat Souta or anything.

 

In that case, can I ev train my pkmns anywhere in GDC? Or I'll have to use the medicines/ hard encounters.

There is a trick you can use before get to GDC (the time between leaving Gearen and fixing the train just before arriving GDC) where you can use teleport, which sends you back to whatever the last PC you visited. It's nice for any encounters you get inbetween (such as from Darchlight) and any encounters you need strength for to go back and ev train them.

 

But after GDC, I think you can only return after Souta as you say.

Yeah GDC is a point of no return until you fight Souta. Sorry you had to go through with it.
