Absol-lutelty awesome!
"Wow, what in the world? He sure is nice for a scout! Man, you've got to admit! He was SOOOO cool! It's like he's a dragon master or something!" Jake then got a hold of himself trying not to show his adoration for how cool the scout was. "Anyways let's get moving! And Deino, here's a cookie, I keep them in my bag for some reason..." The small dinosaur pokemon ripped the cookie to shards happily eating away, he then jumped into Jake's cookie box and ate all but 4. It then, jumped into Jake's bag and fell asleep... "........ Ok..... Anyways! Moving along with what i said... That was first off probably the only scout I've ever seen with some personality, and he knows about dragons, and we need to get to class or I'm dead because I'm already in trouble with Emerald and Alina as it is..." Chevaleresse
Sarcus regarded the guard coolly, unconsciously trying to accent his slightly greater height. He winced from the pain in his leg. Seems nice enough, though when it comes to teachers and the like, you never know from first impressions. "Thank you for advising my, uh, friend here. He's got a few issues with controlling his Pokemon in general." He stiffened a bit when he heard his parting words, feeling slightly patronized. Relax, he told himself. He's just trying to be nice, and you're already in a bad mood. Control your ego. Sarcus shuffled to class, limping slightly. Correction: dead before Saturday. This is going to be a frustrating day. He settled down in his typical seat, sodden and thoroughly annoyed already. Edited December 17, 2013 by KingMurdoc
grasssnake485
(Its thursday right now) Grace tapped Sarcus on the shoulder as he walked into class. "What took you so long?" she asked. "I was under the impression that you were behind me, but apparently not. What happened last night? I heard fighting in the streets, and apparently my mom did NOT get a good impression on that. Apparently, during dinner, there were sounds of fighting outside on the streets, and my mom jumped at the chance of it possibly being a "bad guy" out on the streets, and a kid was fighting with them. Well, she took that chance to lecture me about the dangers of the streets out at night." Grace was still steamed at arguing over after-school rights with her mom. Absol-lutelty awesome!
Jake took a seat in his linking basics class rather annoyed by what Sarcus said about controlling his pokemon, they weren't hard to control. Deino was just disobedient and blind, sneasel and houndour were mischievous and liked it when Jake caused trouble, but Riolu... Riolu was an angel when it came to control. Jake awaited his teacher to say something. She was doing something behind her desk but Jake didn't really care, it wasn't his business. So he sat and awaited the teacher to speak. Chevaleresse
He flushed slightly. "Uh. . . that was me. Jake, too, but me. I was rather unhappy about being smoke bombed, and he was trying to fight Alina and Grace. I was trying to stop him from getting away. I wasn't very successful, but judging from the reversal in attitude, they must have caught him. Speaking of, I wonder how Alina is going to treat him today." Sarcus slumped down on his desk, already tired. Though he had slept like the dead, he hadn't gotten to sleep until very late, and he had woken up earlier than he really had to. Absol-lutelty awesome!
"Is class going to start sometime soon?... What is she doing back there?..." Jake's pokemon grew impatient to the point of foot tapping and Deino simply sat still doing nothing at all. Soon the pokemon sat down and sighed. Deino still, rather creepily didn't move a muscle. The pokemon laid on the ground and groaned. Deino sat still for a while and then finally did something. (Deino) ............... "DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" It apparently had learned a new move, which was definently hyper voice... "Deino what the heck!!!" The small dinosaur pokemon simply stuck out its tongue and panted loudly after using up all that air.
grasssnake485
Looking up from her desk, annoyed, Alina said harshly, "Jake if you cant control your pokemon, leave them at home. Class is starting in 2 minutes, and I would NOT like to be bothered by a deino's Hyper Voice." ~70 minutes later~ Grace hurriedly packed up her books as the bell rang. Oh shoot. The Pokecademy was a three story tall building, she was on the third floor, and she had to get back down to the ground floor, change, then head out to the gym in five FOUR minutes now. Why didnt I take psychic magic instead of healing?! I could have teleported into the locker rooms and not have to worry about a thing! The nice thing was that there were warp points through the school, and she could teleport to any of the other warp points. Unfortunately, there was often a LINE at each warp point, which left the stairwells usually fairly empty save for a few students that dont have the time to wait. When she finally arrived in the locker rooms, panting from running down 3 flights of stairs and nearly falling twice, she checked her watch. Two minutes. That was enough for her to change, then run to P.E.
Chevaleresse
After nearly jumping out of his skin when Deino used Hyper Voice, he sat through a fairly peaceful linking class. Though he found the subject interesting, he was sure Alina caught him nodding a few times. She evidently elected to say nothing, though, and Sarcus managed to get through the class without dozing off entirely. Since he didn't take notes during class, all of his books and papers were still in his bag when class ended. He noticed Jake looking rather offput by something, but he had to be to the same place as Grace. He only needed to change into track pants, though, so Sarcus didn't need to rush. He walked closer to Jake, but before he could, he slipped, falling into the warp point to History. Sarcus stifled a chuckle. He turned back toward his destination. Unfortunately, the floors were still wet from all of the damp students running about. Combining this with Sarcus's habit of running through the broad school hallways resulted in unpleasant consequences that served as a quick reminder about his physics knowledge. About halfway down a staircase, he slipped, tumbling down the rest of the steps to land in an undignified heap. He laid there for a moment, his entire body aching for one reason or another, face pressed down onto the cold tile floor. He silently stood with care, clothing sodden once more. Sarcus ignored the looks of the nearby students and proceeded to phy. ed. "Screw Saturday, I'll be lucky to survive PE." Absol-lutelty awesome!
As Jake went to his next class, history he whispered to himself in anger. "Alina... Always messing with me... That I can understand... But now... THREE people come hogging me about controlling my pokemon... Well it's not like this Deino can just magically hear me! HIS BANGS ARE THICKER THAN HIS SKULL!!!!!! No no no... I can't get mad... I'm sorry Deino it's not all your fault. It's just how you're made, with huge annoying ear and eye blocking bangs of epic hair." Jake walked to the warp panel for history he got a dastardly idea. He would walk past the line, pretend to trip, and fall into the warp panel to history! So as he did everybody laughed as he fell inside. "Pffttt... And they laugh at me?! Who's the idiot now..." Jake had appeared in a flash of light next to his history class and walked inside. He held his Deino close to him, nearly hugging it. He honestly loved it but it just was so easy to bore and it would just do whatever... Jake say in the class awaiting the class to begin. When it did Jake was fascinated to learn Emerald had won many many battles against pokemon that sounded impossible to beat! Jake had somewhat hated Emerald and Alina for their constant teasing about "not learning any magic yet" and "not controlling your pokemon" he especially hated Emerald but he couldn't remember why. When he tried to remember the reason his head just hurt. So he forgot about it and just continued listening to his teacher until Deino loosened inside Jake's grasp, and it was... Asleep... The Deino fell and face planted onto the desk... Jake picked it back up and tapped it on the head. It remained asleep however... So jake simply let it sleep while he listened to history. Pokelord
"Gosh Darn, Xane you made me miss the first class!" I Hollered in semi-rage "Let's head to Physical Education." I walk rather slowly to the direction of P.E. noting the floor was wet. I reviewed the events that happened this day.
Absol-lutelty awesome!
Jake continued listening to his History teacher, fascinated by how Emerald won battle after battle non-stop even against the strongest of enemies. She beat an electivire which Jake trembled at the thought of. Magmortar which gave Jake the chills. And she'd apparently even beaten things even worse than those! Jake then realized maybe rebelling and all like he did before against Alina and Emerald... Might have not been a very good idea. He could've been ripped to shreds in a single slash... No doubt. Deino suddenly awoke and loudly announced "Deino!" Before sitting on Jake's desk and then it was completely silent. The teacher then continued about Emerald's history, which made Jake cringe in fear, sit at the edge of his seat in suspense, have his stomach tighten to beyond belief, and even made him angry considering how weak he was compared to even the people she'd so easily simply pushed out of her path with single attacks. grasssnake485
"There are three things that potentially make an individual strong. Power, Accuracy, and Speed. You need all three to be the best of the best. If you have power, but not accuracy or speed, your attacks will probably always miss. If you have accuracy and no speed or power, even the most accurate aim will not hit the target, and if it does, it pretty much wont do anything. If you have speed, and not accuracy or power, you can only hope that your attacks will do some damage." Ryan lectured. "We will be working on accuracy today. You will be given several kunai each, and you want to hit the target as close to the center as possible. Make sense? I also have moving target and multiple target sets if anyone wants to try." Grace groaned. She was NOT good at knife throwing either. Or, in other words, she couldnt throw a knife to save her life. She was much better with holding it and slashing away. Absol-lutelty awesome!
Jake sat in class bored beyond imagination now as the teacher moved on from the rather amazing history of Emerald to more boring stuff like, how the amulet worked and etc... Since next period was lunch he at least had a break from this for that moment, from there straight into P.E, which was horrible because exercise right after eating was not a very good idea... Like throw up kinda bad idea... As Jake listened more to the lecturing of the teacher about amulets Jake then wondered what kind of test he'd be taking first to get his amulet anyways. An obstacle course? A battle with somebody better than him? A test on paper? He just went with all of the above and continued listening to the teacher. Pokelord
Throwing a knife? This could get violent quickly. Power is needed to damage the target, while Accuracy is necessary to hit the intended target. Finally Speed will be useful to do it swiftly. "May I try first?" I asked the instructor. Chevaleresse
Throwing kunai? Oh dear. . . Sarcus had never been particularly coordinated. He was fairly dexterous when it came to working with his hands, but throwing things had never exactly been his strong suit. He just hoped that the other people in the class would do as terribly as he did. He started to stand, ready to make the attempt. "May I try first?" Be my guest, he thought. He sat back down, groaning in pain. Of all of the days to have knife throwing lessons...
Absol-lutelty awesome!
Jake awaited his History class to end so he could go to lunch, he was beginning to receive stomach growls while he took notes on the history of poke-people and Emerald herself. He was ready to get some physical activity, P.E. Was his 4th period, the one right after his lunch so he was in luck. However he had no idea what to expect. Running, lifting weights, maybe even simply jogging. He couldn't get a good guess at it. As he jogged notes he thought, maybe he should definently stay out of Alina, and especially Emerald's anger zone. Although Jake was very serious and tricky he held a deep secret... He was rather timid... He was easy to frighten, not by a ghost or monster but by a threat by someone larger and stronger. Emerald for example especially made Jake skittish. She was loud and mean and scary all at once. But maybe if he just kept on her good side he wouldn't have her scaring him so badly. As Jake continued to write notes he grew hungrier and hungrier, craving something to eat and something to eat soon.
grasssnake485
Grace groaned, but inside, she was screaming, NOOOOOO!!!! I hope Ryan doesnt call on me first - or even at all! Im just going to embarrass myself... After a while, it was finally her turn. She gulped and faced the target, then flung her first kunai. Nope. It hit the floor before it even travelled half the distance. Her second one hit the wall a foot away, and the third skimmed the top. Grace's face flushed as the room burst with snickers and giggles, and walked back to her spot.
Absol-lutelty awesome!
Jake heard very loud noises coming from downstairs. It sounded like... Laughing? Or was it screaming? It was too hard to tell from where he was. It just sounded like a bunch of slapped together yells. So he ignored it and just continued taking notes. Chevaleresse
Sarcus watched a few people make attempts, with varying amounts of success. Eventually, it passed around it him. He stood up with a grunt, grabbed the blades, and walked over to the area in front of the target. Let's go about this intelligently. He practiced the motion a few times, getting a feel for the weapon. He sighted down the kunai as if it was a rifle, trying to get his angle right. When the teacher glared at him, he threw. The blade sailed through the air, straight at the target. . . and clattered to the ground two feet in front of it, sliding across the ground until it was underneath. The second flew far off course, nearly shaving a distracted student's hair. Alright, one more shot. He snapped his wrist, barely thinking about the action. The blade landed dead center, hitting with a solid thunk. He smiled in self-satisfaction, and sat back down.
grasssnake485
Grace walked to an empty table in the cafeteria. After an embarrassing PE class and a class full of snickers in history, she wanted to avoid as much drama as possible. She plunked her tray down and tossed a berry in a high arc to her honedge, who caught it after doing a twirl. ((short posts))
Absol-lutelty awesome!
Jake got a tray, grabbed a very small amount of food, consisting of the main entree and a bit of berries with a water bottle. However he let his pokemon get much more. They were the ones who did the eating compared to him. Especially Deino. He would not only eat the food but the tray too. As he walked about he looked around and once he found her, sat next to grace and as he just as he began to eat, his Deino jumped up and are his entire tray, food and all. So he just began to drink his water instead, remaining silent.
Chevaleresse
Sarcus, after retrieving his meal, searched out Grace. He made his way over to her table, and sat heavily, a sigh escaping him. He waved hello to her, then turned to his food, eagerly wolfing it down. He might be tired, but he still ate like he would never eat again. Gallant walked up to Grace's Flabebe and seemed to start up a conversation. Blues stared at her Honedge for a moment, then sat next to it quietly. Beldum simply floated over and hovered near the pair. Absolution, after having his fill, tried to entice her Dratini into playing a game.
Absol-lutelty awesome!
Deino jumped up on the table and searched for any food on Sarcus's tray even though he had literally just finished two entire meals, tray and all, However Sarcus had eaten almost all his food so Deino left his tray angrily. Chevaleresse
Sarcus noticed the angry Deino. Though he knew it couldn't see him, he stared it down. He turned to the unruly Pokemon's trainer. "Listen, Jake. I'm going to give you some advice from my father. Dragon-types are different. They respect strength. Fear them, and they will dominate you. A dragon needs to not only love you as a Trainer, but respect you as a worthy foe. Show them that YOU are in charge. Wear them down. Command them. This might sound harsh, but once you earn a Dragon-type's resoect, they will be the stanchest, most loyal companions you will ever have. " He looked about, feeling abashed. He really needed to stop giving impromptu speeches. "Now, I'm tired. Please rein your Pokemon in," he said, trying and failing to cover his self-consciosness. grasssnake485
Looking up, Grace noticed that her friends had come over as well. "Dont talk about my total fail in PE today ok guys? Im already embarrassed enough. And in case youre wondering, Jake, I missed the target by a million miles in knife throwing." She choked down the last bites of her sandwich before Jake's deino could get at it. "Its just that I get scared that each time I try to throw, its going to hit someone I dont want to hit. I used to be a perfect aim. Except once, I accidentally hit a friend in the shoulder. He lost his arm. Where I come from, they value the strength of the trainer as much as the strength of the pokemon. We were expected to fight alongside them. After that, i couldnt stand to live there anymore, so I left to Kalos."
