Upon a sudden realization of his surroundings and seeing Sarcus laughing at him he was furious and he finally found something to shown his new homemade black powder bomb to. He pulled a small round ball from his pocket.

"So Sarcus... Do you know what happens to black powder after an enormous impact? That's right a rapid pressure expansion... This means by tossing this baby here I can make a blast of black powder. This means by doing so I can blot out people's vision for long enough to escape. Or just hurt the person's eyes... I want you to have this... With laughing at a person's fears can come a problem for you... Perhaps a fight. You should use that sometime. But now I've got to go..."

As Jake walked away casually a smile appeared on his face very slowly...

"Now Houndour!!!"

The pokemon fired an ember at the bomb causing it to burst, Jake climbed a tree and ran off hoping he got Sarcus's attention back in its place.

"BELDUM! TAKE DOWN!" Jake had detonated a bomb in his face, and now Sarcus was pissed. Restrain yourself, but it should still hurt. No lasting injuries, though.

If you say so.

He scrubbed at his eyes as he began shouting orders to his team, knowing that the other Trainer would probably start replying to his attacks. "Gallant, keep that Deino off of everyone's back! Pawniard, keep Riolu in check with your Fighting moves! Absolution, use Sucker Punch if Sneasel or Houndour try to attack! Beldum, use your judgement after you finish your attack!" His eyes were burning from the powder. "You sneaky, selfish, arrogant little bastard! Attack someone from behind one more time and it'll be the END FOR YOU!" Sarcus had flown into a full blown rage at this point, getting angrier as his energy level rose with each word.

"Quickly everyone into the bushes! Riolu use your aura powers to mask our aura locations!"

Jake and his pokemon jumped into the bushes down from the branches all of them grunting in pain but staying quiet, Riolu masked them from detection while not trying to move a muscle. They had barely escaped Beldum. Another second and it would have seen them jump from the trees. Jake pulled out a stick and began writing in morse code. It read "ok, first we will stay in the bushes masking our location with Riolu. Houndour, you will snipe out Beldum with a flamethrower while it's not looking. Then we can slowly creep out of here staying quiet. If any other pokemon show up the. Sneasel, you will use ice beam to freeze them and we will continue"

His pokemon agreed understanding the code and they readied for the moment Beldum would turn away.

Eyes still burning, the raging teen cast about for Jake. "You bloody coward! Yeah, attack me while my guard's down and then run! What kind of filthy rat are you?" Sarcus spat. "You're not even worth the trouble of attacking, anyway." Sarcus stormed off into the woods, cursing and ranting at the air. His Pokemon followed at a distance, with Beldum reconsidering xyr earlier decision.

"Sarcus, I do NOT want to see you react so violently again!" ALina yelled. She ran over to near where the beldum was and extended a barrier around them. "Go back to the village. Or at least less deep. I need to talk to Jake."

Jake sat in the bushes listening to Sarcus's rants and considered knocking him out with a hard blow to the spine, but he thought it wasn't such a good idea anyways. He quietly put on his black sweatshirt with a hoodie that he kept in his back pack. He slid on the hoodie, pushed his pokemon up the tree branches and climbed after them and began running along the treeline until he reached the village. He took down the hood and walked towards his home slowly. He knew anyone could be following him.

"We're home free guys lets get going!"

"Not exactly." Alina stepped out of the bushes and flung several kunai at Jake, pinning his clothes to the wall. A barrier formed aroundthe two. "I never want to see you attacking another student like that again. Remember the three strikes youre out policy? Yore on strike two now." Alina said with a poisonous voice. "Strike one was from not following Emerald's rules. Strike two now. Even though I dont have the power to enforce Emerald's rules and laws, Im telepathically connected to Emerald at all times, and can summon her here any time I want."

Somewhere in the red fog of rage, Alina's words made it through to Sarcus. After venting at the empty forest for a while, he started to calm down, and what had occurred back there started to sink in. Twice? Twice in one day? What the hell is going on with me? I haven't done that in years, at least not in public. Alina likely won't look at the same way again. Sarcus had always valued the opinions of his teachers. Well, most of them, anyway. And Grace. . . What will Grace think? She seems dead set on being friends with that kid.

He slumped down on a nearby tree as the adrenaline energy coursing through his body drained away. Well, so much for that. Now you get to be that kid again. The kid that people whisper about in the halls after he passes them, the kid who everyone thinks is a danger to those around him.

((I hope this doesn't sound too melodramatic. He's not the most rational person during and after an episode like that.))

"Hehehe Alina my friend... How are you today? You see I'm a bit "stuck" here HAHAHAHAHA!!!"

(Enormous mood swing)

"You think some knives could hold a little demon like me down? Hehehehehe... Never mind that anyways... Can you take a gander at that school I tell you it's just amazing isn't it... It's so beautiful once you just take a little look isn't it..."

As she was convinced Jake was absolutely crazy the Jake Literally exploded in her face, Jake had put a timed smoke bomb on himself, hoping to distract Alina, he slipped out of his jacket but the barrier stayed up.

(Happy mood swing)

"Yes! I did it!"

Once the smoke cleared the barrier still remained however...

"WHAT?! SHE CAN MAINTAIN FOCUS THAT WELL FORGET THIS!?"

(Serious mood swing)

"Wait wouldn't a hit on both sides cause a collapse?... Perfect!"

Jake tossed two impact bombs at the sides causing the barrier to blow out. His eyes burned with powder but he still got to bushes before the smoke cleared out.

"That's not going to work!" Alina smirked as she formed a barrier around herself to protect herself. She'd seen what theyve done to Sarcus, and did NOT want it to happen to herself. She extended her senses, and found that Jake had escaped. Oh no. Youre not getting away. She pinpointed his location and teleported a few feet away and cast an illusion. Within the illusion, she was struggling to find her way out of the cloud of smoke and ash. Perfect. Alina thought. Now what should she do? Knock him out or teleport him into his house? She decided on both.

Jake was suddenly inside his house and was struck by a sudden pain and simply turned around to see his attacker. He stared Alina in the eyes with a glare of pure evil.

"Alina... Is that it?..."

"I thought yo-" his body couldn't take it anymore and he fell to the ground knocked out.

"Hmph. Serves you right." Alina teleported downstairs to have a chat with his parents.

The small pokemon stepped out from under Jake's bed.

You transferred the energy from her blow with your aura powers! Hehehe she needs help on her knockout blows anyways......"

Jake stood up and shook himself off. He snuck up to Alina and stopped her

"Wow wow wow... Hold it Alina, you actually didn't expect that from ME?! Mr.tricky

You need some tips on your spinal hit knockouts... They don't work... I tricked you just like everyone else. And beleive me... My one weakness is something I absolutely cannot stand. I'll tell you that much..."

She pulled out six from her waist pouch and got ready to throw again. "Oh yeah, and when one spot doesnt work, another usually does.

"Alina you're so predictable... It's called a thick undershirt... Hehehehehe....."

Riolu however was manipulating Jake's aura force to be able to sustain the needles blows however it wouldn't work forever. Riolu would get tired.

"Alina... Tell me how you will stop me now? When you can't knock me out?" Sneasel now's the time! Ice beam her arms and legs! Houndour! Burn the ice to make it freeze dry!" Now Riolu! Use a feint attack and knock her out! Deino! Stay for security if she doesn't get knocked out! Riolu check her aura to make sure she is knocked out once you hit her!"

Sarcus heard a commotion from where he had lost control earlier that abruptly stopped, jolting him out of his sullen state. Ah, well. I had better head back home. I'm sure the family I'm staying with is worried about where I am. He made his way back to the village a short distance away. Instead of heading to his house, however, he heard a lot of noise coming from another home in the village. People around here are pretty quiet. I wonder what's going on. . ?

"Now's your chance Riolu knock her out!"

Riolu losing aura focus meant that Jake's aura was returned to a normally flowing stage, the needle in his pressure point caused a huge weakness wave and he tore it out of his chest in anger. Deino however crashed into Alina causing her to fall and the ice freezing her limbs shattered, Riolu then crashed into a wall.

"DEINO!!!!! SHE'S GONNA GET ME NOW! Well only one more thing left I can do!"

Jake turned off the light switch in the room, threw a smoke bomb at Alina's feet and jumped out the window with his pokemon closely behind. Jake was so lucky his parents had went on vacation the day after he joined the academy and told him to get a dorm.

"Almost to a safe place..."

Jake hid in a dark alley and had Riolu block out his and his pokemon's aura trace.

"Now to just wait it out until she kills me tomorrow..."

Sarcus saw Jake leap out of the house, followed quickly by his Pokemon. They looked tired from whatever they had been doing earlier. Excellent, he thought. He turned to whisper to his Pokemon. "Gallant, take out Deino with a Moonblast. Absolution, I want you to Sucker Punch Houndour if it tries to attack. Blues, take out Sneasel with a Fighting-type move. Beldum, hit Riolu with Zen Headbutt. I'd like to see him get out of this." He waved his team forward. "Go!" he hissed.

Jake ran by Sarcus immediately noticing him and his pokemon preparing an attack. However with Alina on his tail... He didn't exactly have time for that...

"Sorry Sarcus! We'll battle later!!!"

His pokemon dodged the attacks, except for Deino being blinded by his hair in the way of his eyes, and houndour being simply to aggressive attempted an attack at absolution and was sucker punched causing it to be very dazed and it ran after Jake as he called. Jake grabbed up his unconscious Deino and continued running, however the attacks that the other pokemon dodged hit something apparently judging by the very loud noises following. Beldum however chased Jake going for Riolu. Sneasel was to fast for Blue's attack and Riolu was about to be hit by the move! Jake jumped in the way taking the massive painful blow for Riolu. Jake continued running until he reached an alleyway and Riolu disguised their auras from Alina's detection. Sarcus however was a different story and Jake would have to deal with him, better him than Alina...

He sighed in frustration. "Let's just go home," Sarcus said to his team. "I'm exhausted, and you guys have been doing more work than I have." He led his team back to the home of the family he was staying with until he could obtain one of his own. Once inside, he quietly crept to his room to avoid waking them, and basically fell onto his bed. Absolution curled up next to him, Gallant laid alongside him, and Blues laid down at the foot of the bed, trying to avoid cutting up the sheets. Beldum anchored itself to the wall, and then was motionless.

"So the trickster falls for the tricks." snickers Emerald, blocking the exit of the alley. "Dunno if you noticed, but over half of that was all illusion. My sister has a special ability; she can blur the line between illusion and reality. The needles were an illusion. Jumping out of the building was not. Sarcus was not. This is an illusion. But we're booth still in the alley. Alina appears to still be in the cloud of smoke, but she is actually on top of the building to your right. You can run all you want, but you will stay here in the alley until Alina or I decide to cancel it. And since I feel like giving our janitors a break, your duty tomorrow is to mop the hallways, to be done during your free period. Be late for Magic again, you WILL be kicked out."

Jake and his pokemon were infuriated and the pokemon began raging around thrashing and banging on walls, it even woke up the knocked out Deino who fired dragon rage everywhere, while crashing into walls vigorously. Jake called for his pokemon to stop, all of them did except Deino who continued to rage around for a while longer before stopping in place grunting idiotically.

"Grrrr... Well it finally looks like the cat caught the mouse..."

Jake smirked suddenly after some thought, but all was lost after a sudden mood swing.

"If you're so smart then tell me, do I have any weapons to fight you with? You're powers aren't so useful now huh?! You will never be able to tell my next move or what I'll use! Because, I've changed into a completely different person!"

Jake stood triumphantly smiling like an absolute fool, his pokemon were very confused about the new Jake.

Emerald blinked, unamused. "You do know that I have nearly a century of fighting experience, and i can pretty much predict your next move after you make your first move. Also, unless you know how to block off your mind better than Alina can, I can easily read your thoughts. And I dont use weapons. I am my own weapon, and it has been sufficient to keep me alive until today." Emerald's necklace started glowing, and a green orb of light came out and enveloped her. Two horns sprouted out of her hair, and her fingernails lengthened into claws. "Lets see you stand up to me in my half-rayquaza form."

"I told you I'm unpredictable! Emerald you'll never truly understand me and my devotion to win! If you ever tried to you would never have your answer... You really think I'm so easy to predict and then you were wrong, because I am always ready to fight for myself and what I believe in! My passion is something that can't be torn from me no matter what is brought to the Battle! You can rip apart my limbs, torture me to the point of breaking, or even kill my friends in front of My face but I will continue to feel my passion surging throughout every last bloody little cell in my body! Even though my emotions always change, one moment I'll be using a kunai and the next a huge sword, I use my surroundings too but this time... You'll never see me coming...I always have something up my sleeve... And I will not lose today! You're either killing me or I'm leaving unbeaten!"

Jake pulled off his backpack and opened it up, revealing huge amounts of gunpowder, kunai, a set of hidden blades, throwing knives and more. Which he mashed his homework on top of...

"Now lets see here... Aha yes this will do!"

but of all things Jake removed a box of cookies! Jake opened the lid, ate one, and began throwing them at Emerald's eyes!
