Shiny legendary dogs trio

Im currently doing a legendaries shiny hunt and i got to the dogs trio. Uasually in other anomalies cases you would get time to save after battling the respective pokemon before catching it, but after you battle one of the dogs, it just straight up jumps at you making it impossible to soft reset in order to get the shiny encounter without having to battle its whole team first. Does anyone have any solutions or is it something we just have to put up with?

I'm pretty sure most of them do attack you again immediately after you beat them, but if you don't want to have to SR and redo the battles you could always use Glitter Balls.

you can quickly save between beating them and getting into an encounter with them (you can save as long as a text box isn't onscreen) and sr that way

There's definitely quicksave windows on all the dogs between the anomaly & wild fights, they're just pretty small. If you start spamming the quicksave button the moment that the anomaly fight ends you should get the prompt
