Facing El's Ditto Arceus...Need Help

Hi Everyone,

 

I'm facing El and his bloody annoying Ditto-Arceus.

 

I'm struggling to win the battle. Here's my current pokemon list:

 

1) Incineroar - Flare Blitz, Outrage, Flamethrower, Darkest Lariat

 

2) Sawk - Brick Break, Bulk Up, Strength, Reversal

 

3) Ampharos - Power Gem, Light Screen, Discharge, Confuse Ray

 

4) Drapion - Cross Poison, Hone Claws, Toxic Spikes, Night Slash

 

5) Swoobat, Future Sight, Psychic, Calm Mind, Air Slash

 

6) Togedemaru, Fell Stringer, Discharge, Zing Zap, Electric Terrain

Does your sawk have sturdy? If yes, then reversal should deal huge damage to the enemy. Give sawk a fighting gem to maximize damage. 
For me, I’ll lead with togedemaru (sturdy ability, and teach it nuzzle) to cripple the enemy, then send in reversal sawk. If the damage still isn’t enough, send in ampharos for screen, then start attacking him. This should be sufficient to win.

Also, did you ev train your mons? EV trained mons significantly helps with many battles.

My Sawk doesn't have Sturdy, I have a Sudowoodo that does. I have EV trained some of my mons.

Try catching 2 Gravelers with Sturdy + Earthquake/Magnitude and use that move 3 times to sabotage the field - which K.O both your mon and the Arceus-Ditto itself

This is the result of 3 Earthquakes on that field, which instant K.O everything on the field at that moment (don't mind the icons, I'm just simulating the fight with debug)

You can also try using a mon with Destiny bond and a Focus Sash, iirc Koffing can learn Destiny Bond at 40 and you can find it at the Wasteland

The hardest part is that Arceus is usually going first with its moves, it makes it difficult to attack first

Through a slightly convoluted strategy i just defeated El.

 

1) Gravlier - Earthquake

 

2) Ampharos - Confuse Ray and Light Screen

 

3) Wheezing - Destiny Bond
