Sucker Punch on Mightyene

I'm trying to beat Shade, and nothings going right. I've seen a lot of people say to use moxie mightyena with sucker punch, but my mightyena is at the level cap and never got the chance to learn it. Did I mess up somewhere, or is sucker punch before shade on mightyena not possible in ep19?

Mightyena learns sucker punch normally at lvl 52, but you can teach it as an egg move. You need to breed a female mightyena with mons like raticate and skuntank who knows sucker punch.
