Popular Post AsNKrysis
First off, I want to thank 9 people and groups: @EmperorOfManJebBush for the original Alternate Forms used in this mod! I suck at pixel art and creativity, so him allowing me to use his mod to bring his forms into the overworld is what kickstarted this mod! @fish_gaming for allowing me to include his Aevian Mega Evolutions mod in this! @Fervis for giving me permission to use some of his sprites and the code for the Hisuian Forms from his All-Gen Eevee Reborn + Custom Megas mod! I didn't include his custom Eeveelutions or Mega Evolutions, just to make things clear, it was only using the code for the Hisuian Forms. @Karvanha for giving me permission to use some of his code from his Battle Bond mod to introduce Battle Bond into Rejuvenation! @zervixen for helping me with modding the scripts! I'm not a coder whatsoever, and before this I had 0 clue how to use Pokemon Essentials, so her help was always massively appreciated whenever I had questions. EchoTheThird (@EchoTheThird on twitter) for giving me permission to use some Delta Forms in this mod, along with Thuddgun for their permission to use his Mega Johto Starters and Marowak! I've always been a big fan of the Delta Forms and Insurgence's sprites in general, so being able to bring them into Rejuvenation is truly incredible and I am truly grateful to Echo and the Insurgence team for providing permission to use their sprites! @Jos_Louis, Hexx_Vixtar, Endless, and the rest of the Soulstones team for providing permission to use some of their Epoch forms and new Megas used in this mod! The spritework and design of their Pokemon is truly incredible and I am extremely thankful to them for providing their permission to bring their forms and Megas into Rejuvenation! The Plates of Arceus dev team for giving Jeb and me permission to use assets from their Moon Salamence and Toxic Gliscor! I really love the design of their regional variants, so I wanted to bring one inspired by one of my favorite designs of theirs into this mod! If you haven't already, go check out the Plates of Arceus mod for Reborn E18! Sapphiada on discord for providing their assistance with coding in the Delta Forms and their mechanics as well as helping with their spritework! Sapph's been a huge help to me so far during the lengthy development of this mod so far, so huge thanks to them! And for any Reborn fans, tune into Sapph's modding development on discord as they're making big strides with their work! More Regional Forms! Hisuian Forms, More Regional Variants, Battle Bond, & New Megas! Introducing to Aevium Region are the Hisuian Forms! Pokemon of a distant past that have seemingly creeped their way into the present! Alongside the Hisuian Pokemon are more Aevian Regional Variants, Delta Forms, Epoch Forms, and new Megas! Now multiple trainers across the Aevium Region will have access to more of their region's unique forms as well as forms from distant regions, but you'll get your chance to acquire them yourself! DISCLAIMER: This is my very first major mod and I am not an experienced coder nor have any experience with game design. I literally just learned how to use Pokemon Essentials and RPG Maker XP the last 2 weeks. There are bound to be many bugs and many weird choices with the direction I took some of the forms, so I apologize for such and I will be seeking to improve this mod as best I can. Features: - All Hisuian Regional Forms (no Regional Evolutions for now) and moves as featured in Pokemon Legends: Arceus! - 28 new Aevian regional evolutionary lines! - 17 Delta Forms from Pokemon Insurgence! - 4 Epoch Regional Forms from Pokemon Soulstones! - Battle Bond Forms for Greninja, Delphox, and Chesnaught! - Some Trainers around the game now have access to these forms! Most Gym Leaders now have one of these forms on their team! - Mega Evolution forms for Meganium, Typhlosion, Feraligatr, Marowak, Ninetales, Aevian Toxtricity, Aevian Lapras, and Aevian Ampharos! (Once again, thank you @fish_gaming, Endless, and Thuddgun!) - The Frostbite status from PLA replacing the Frozen status, as well as new items, moves, and abilities surrounding the Frostbite mechanic! A text document is included in game files for the Locations of all the Pokemon (including the Hisuian Forms) and their stats. Hisuian Form Locations & How to obtain them: Time Stones Time Stones are a new special evolutionary stone that allows certain species in the present to evolve into their forms of a distant past. An early-game Time Stone can be found in the Wispy Treasury behind the 4 Badge Door. They're available to purchase from a Ranger-looking guy in Amberette Town after meeting Irwin. Hisuian Growlithe & Arcanine Hisuian Growlithe can be obtained from a lady in past Sheridan Village looking to trade for an Anomaly Litwick (Fire & Ice type). It'll evolve into Hisuian Arcanine after being exposed to a Fire Stone. Hisuian Sliggoo & Goodra Hisuian Sliggoo can be found in the Forest of Time down the rock climb path to the right where Aerial Ace is obtained. Only after the 12th gym. It'll evolve into Hisuian Goodra at level 50 during the Rain. Hisuian Zorua and Zoroark Hisuian Zorua replaces the Zorua event in the Garufa Ruins. It'll evolve into Hisuian Zoroark at level 30. Hisuian Voltorb & Electrode Hisuian Voltorb can first be encountered in the Front Chrysalis Courtyard and behind Chrysalis Manor. Both Hisuian Voltorb and Electrode can be found in the Forest of Time. Hisuian Lilligant Petilil will evolve into Hisuian Lilligant after being exposed to a Time Stone. Hisuian Typhlosion Quilava will evolve into Hisuian Typhlosion after being exposed to a Time Stone. Hisuian Samurott Dewott will evolve into Hisuian Samurott after being exposed to a Time Stone. Hisuian Decidueye Dartrix will evolve into Hisuian Decidueye after being exposed to a Time Stone. Hisuian Avalugg Bergmite will evolve into Hisuian Avalugg after being exposed to a Time Stone. Hisuian Braviary Rufflet will evolve into Hisuian Braviary after being exposed to a Time Stone. Ability Add-ons and Additional Moves for Vanilla Pokemon: All listed in the text documents included in the files. Narrative: My personal narrative for having the Hisuian Forms in Rejuvenation is that there are leaks in time every time people are travelling between the Past and Present. Even though the past in Rejuvenation doesn't go that far back to the times of Hisui, let's just say that Pokemon from all over time are being pulled around the past, present, and future as a result of time rifts due to time travel. This means that the Hisuian Forms are not widely available across the Aevium Region. Rather, they more than likely end up where time travel takes place, which would be where the time crystals are located. There aren't too many good places for me to make encounters for Hisuian Pokemon near time crystals, and I seriously suck at narrative and game balance, so most Hisuian Pokemon can be found in the Forest of Time located in Valor Mountain, since that's the first time we time travel in game. This also means just about every normal trainer in the present will not have Hisuian Pokemon on their teams. Some trainers in the past will (maybe their family kept a Pokemon from the past for that long, honestly idk). Some unique/major characters will have Hisuian Pokemon on their team, however. If you're not a fan of this, let me know. I accept all and any feedback and I'll be updating this mod over time. Side Note: I am currently too lazy to make some complicated puzzle or lengthy quest to place all the new Mega Stones somewhere, so all of them are obtainable by the same guy who hands out Laprasite and Toxtricitite in the League Administration at the start of Episode 15. All Hisuian Evolutions have been removed due recent bug reports. They will be added back in once v13.5 is released and the mod will be updated accordingly. Despite that, all of their stats, abilities, and sprites are still present in the files, along with the Gen 9 starters, but I DO NOT recommend debugging them in. They will brick your save if you save with them in your party or PC. You have been warned. The Delta Starters are obtainable at the start of the game as a choice for your first starter. Simply click on the Display Case next to Amanda when choosing your starter and some dialogue should pop up talking about the Delta Starters, then click on the case again after that and choose the starter you want. Also, all the Battle Bond Gen 6 starters are available from the start and when you obtain them later. They all have a random chance to come with Battle Bond when you obtain them, so keep soft resetting until you get one if you want it. With the latest patch, Battle Bond now activates only once per battle. Once a Pokemon transforms into its Battle Bond form, no other Pokemon on the player's side with Battle Bond will be able to activate it. Even if the Battle Bond Pokemon faints, no other Pokemon with Battle Bond will be able to activate their ability. This might cause issues in doubles with Ren as his Greninja may not be able to activate its Battle Bond if you activate yours. I'm not entirely sure how to restrict it to the player, so sorry if Ren becomes a bit nerfed due to this. Note for how Noctem, Shadow Sky, and Shadow Dance work: Due to Darkness not being a vanilla weather effect, I had to make a suitable one for Noctem and Shadow Dance. I was too lazy to have to make a new weather, however, and simply decided to use an existing one in Rejuvenation that is essentially being unused: Shadow Sky. Currently, Shadow Sky is a weather effect that simply boosts Shadow Pokemon and damages everything else, and it can only be summoned with the Storm-9 ability. So, I decided to use Shadow Sky as the weather to be summoned by Noctem instead, but I edited it to be in line a bit more with how Insurgence's Darkness works and adjusted it to be more in line with how vanilla Sun and Rain work. I do want to make a move that can summon it, but figured that the only Pokemon that will get the most use out of it at the moment are just Delta Charizard and Delta Blastoise. I'll be sure to look into it more when I update this mod for v13.5. Shadow Sky: Increases the power of Shadow, Ghost, and Dark-type moves by 50%. Decreases the power of Fairy-type moves by 50%. Damages all non-Shadow, Ghost, and Dark-type Pokemon by 1/16 of their HP every turn. Lunar Cannon becomes instantly charged under this weather. Pokemon with the Shadow Dance ability increases their Speed by 50%. Additionally, Shadow Dance's ability activates under a Dark Crystal Cavern. Shadow Sky will turn a Crystal Cavern into a Dark Crystal Cavern. Terminates the Rainbow field effect. Synthesis and Morning Sun all have decreased healing under this weather. Moonlight has increased healing under this weather. Solar Beam and Growth fail under this weather. Hone Claws' boosts are doubled. Flash's accuracy drop is doubled, Illuminate's Evasion is increased. Geomancy's boosts are halved. Fairy Aura's does not boost any attacks. Dark Aura's boosts are increased. Phantom Force takes only 1 turn. Reflect and Light Screen have their effects boosted. Nightmare and Bad Dreams have their damage boosted. Download Link: Mirror 1 (MEGA) Mirror 2 (Google Drive) Optional Mods: Return of the Jackpot Starters! This mod does what it says it does: simply re-adds Jackpot Starters into the beginning starter choice of the game via the starter randomizer machine. This isn't included in the main mod, but for anyone that wants these then simply download the optional map files and replace in your data folder (Map069 and Map308). The Pokemon included in the list of Jackpot Starters are: Spoiler - Aevian Axew - Aevian Chikorita - Aevian Snivy - Aevian Tepig - Aevian Fennekin - Aevian Turtwig - Aevian Chimchar Aevian Jackpot Starters.zip NOTE: Some of the Pokemon included can be very OP for the beginning of the game (namely Aevian Axew) which is why it will not be included in the main mod. Compatibility with @EvGym's Auto Battle Speed Up If EvGym requests for me to take down this compatibility, then I will. I do not take any credit for their Auto Battle Speed Up mod and I am simply making a compatible patch with their mod. All rights are reserved to them. Simply download the file, unzip, locate the PokeBattle_Battle.rb file in the folder and replace the respective file in the Scripts folder of the game's files. You do not need to download Gym's mod. Compatibility with Auto Battle Speed Up.zip Axed AltForm and Megas Availability There are certain AltForms and AltForm Megas that I've added that are not currently obtainable. This is because I consider these Forms and Megas to be extremely overpowered in one aspect or another and do not want to make them available yet by standard means, but it would be a waste to add the AltForms and not allow people to use them. Therefore, this optional submod will allow the AltForms and the AltForm Megas to be obtainable after beating Ryland. Just talk to the NPC in the League Administration and you'll receive Aevian Bagon, Aevian Deino, Epoch Larvitar, Epoch Gligar, Delta Emolga, Delta Ralts, Metagrossite, Epoch Gengarite, Epoch Tyranitarite, and Salamencite and the rest of the unavailable Delta Mega Stones. Installation is the same as the Jackpot Starters. Axed AltForm and Megas.zip Things to do: Fixing any bugs (first and foremost) Cleaning up the code Balancing tweaks (if necessary) I have to adjust TMs for each Pokemon Regional Form (not Hisuian), but they just take a while to do. Let me know if there's anything you want added or changed and I'll do my best to adjust it. The rest of Gen 9 (eventually) Animations for moves Just like how I said I suck at pixel art, I'm even worse at animating. This might not come for a while, and I don't like acting like I'm begging for free help here but if there's anyone who can help me with animating moves I'd really appreciate it. More Regional Forms I'm still working on getting permission from other fangame authors, so we'll have to see what I'll be able to add. On the topic of this, while I am not opposed to Custom Regional Forms, I am not adding Fakemon. Nothing against them and some Fakemon have exceptional designs, it's just a personal thing. I will keep adding Aevian Regional Forms with whatever Jeb has envisioned for new forms. He is the main spriter so I go by his lead. FAQ: Can I use this on my current save? Do I need to restart the game? You do not need to start a new save file, but it is recommended you do so so that you don't miss any features at the beginning of the game. Will you be adding the rest of Gen 9 as well? How long will that take? I did have plans to add Gen 9, but it has now come to my attention that the compiler for Rejuvenation's current version is extremely broken and will not save the changes I make to the species count. Therefore, Gen 9 will not be coming anytime soon until v13.5 is released. If it won't take too long for the Rejuv team to release Gen 9 after the release of v13.5, then I will not be adding Gen 9 myself and would much prefer to wait for Gen 9 to be placed in the base game. Are you planning on adding terastallization? Hell no lmao. Do you plan on adding Pokemon from other fangames? Yes! As I have been getting into contact with the Authors, Dev Teams, and Lead Artists of other fangames, I have been granted permission to start adding in new forms! I don't have permission to use all the Delta forms or Epoch forms, but I am slowly working towards adding in more and more forms as I am allowed. I most likely won't be adding all Delta and Epoch forms, as that's way, way too many to handle for just myself working on this. But if you have any suggestions for any forms from any fangames that you'd like to bring into Rejuvenation, let me know and I'll do my best to add what I can! Will you add Plates of Arceus Regional Variants into this mod? No, it's not that I don't have permission to but I personally don't want to copy and paste something from a Reborn mod into this mod. While that might not make sense given how I'm copying Regional Variants from other fangames into my mod, almost no other game has a Reborn-style of play. Field effects are a big factor into the gameplay of Reborn, Rejuvenation, and Desolation, and I'd much rather introduce AltForms from other games into a Reborn-style of gameplay rather than take the forms from PoA and put them into Rejuvenation. Perhaps in the far future I might, but if PoA decides to release their own version for Rejuvenation then I would much rather people enjoy the different experiences that both mods entail. Although, if PoA wants to contact me for anything, then a collaboration may be possible. Are you planning to update to v13.5 once it releases? Yep! Since Rejuvenation will be updating to using a script similar to Reborn and Desolation, then I'd have to redo a bit of code, but hopefully it won't take me much time. Are you planning to make this for Reborn as well? Well, the original Alternate Forms mod by Jeb already has a version for Reborn with overworld encounters already included, so I don't feel like I need to. Although the Delta Forms and Epoch Forms I am slightly interested in adding, but I need some time to fully polish the work I'm doing for Rejuvenation. This Pokemon seems too broken/overpowered, can you adjust it? I'll try to! Just let me know what you prefer and I'll take a glance over it myself. Do Crests work on the Aevian Regional forms? No, I have fully removed all Crest functionality from all AltForms. Can I edit certain things about the mod myself? Of course! I've included the Scripts and PBS files in the game files itself. If you know what you're doing and want to edit some things yourself, or fix something that I broke, then by all means! How can I contact you for questions? I'll try to check the forums as much as I can, but it's better to reach me on discord if you need anything. My discord handle is Kato#7011, or you can find me in the Reborn discord with the name AsN. Known Bugs: The Psychic Terrain background doesn't appear from Nim's fights. I'm gonna be completely honest, idk how to fix this. I'm using Jeb's Alternate Forms as a base for this mod and that was a bug with his and I never found out how to fix it. It's just a visual glitch and the field still works properly, so I didn't feel very obligated to try to fix it. I'll probably transfer over all this stuff to a clean download once v13.5 comes out, but for now I have no idea how to fix this. If anybody knows how to fix it, please let me know on here or contact me on discord. On Intense Mode, Amber has a Moltres for her gym fight and playable section. Yeah, so... uh, this was actually just a personal preference that I added in and forgot to take out. I remember when I first played Rejuvenation back in v12 and I thought it was cool that Amber had a Moltres, so I gave one to her for my personal playthrough pf v13. When I was modding the game for this mod, it completely slipped my mind that I forgot to take it out. And now I'm just lazy to remove it :P. If it becomes a really big issue to people, I'll just quickly update and remove it. Melia's Hisuian Zoroark will appear as a regular Zoroark in the overworld. Melia has a Hisuian Zoroark that currently replaces her regular Zoroark in battles. However, there's no good Hisuian Zoroark overworld sprite that is available for free use that I can find. Also, as I've said, I'm bad at pixel art. So her Zoroark will be a regular Zoroark in the overworld for now. The Hisuian Growlithe trade takes any form of Litwick, not just Anomaly Litwick. Not sure how to fix this yet. Water Shuriken is still able to hit only 2 times in its Battle Bond form. Working on fixing this but I'm sort of stumped. If there are any other bugs that people run into, let me know and I'll fix it as soon as I'm able to! Mod Compatibility: Compatible Rejuvenation Modular Modpack [V12.1] Most of these will be included in an Optional folder in the Mods folder of the Data folder (lots of folders lmao), pick and choose which you prefer. Pyrolusitium-Z Rejuvenated v0.5b Pokemon Rejuvenation v13 Battle Music Pack Port Rejuvenation v13.0.5 Battle Music Pack (Alternate) (totally not trying to advertise my own other mod here) Non-Compatible Moto's Rejuvenation MM I could make this compatible, but I personally don't play MM and I don't want to change the difficulty that MM entails nor do I want to mess with Moto's vision for his mod. If Moto wants to get into contact with me about making this compatible, then I may make it compatible in the future. Pickup QOL Revival Mod This mod is currently broken and will not work for Rejuvenation v13.0.5. It'll cause lots of bugs like Dimensional Rift Pokemon not being the right form and such. Therefore, this is not compatible. AsNKrysis
MASSIVE UPDATE: 7 new Aevian Forms Delta Starters from Insurgence Epoch Gengar and Epoch Tyranitar Battle Bond forms for the Gen 6 starters Mega Ninetales Bunch of bug fixes (both for the mod and the Vanilla game) and Aevian form balances All Hisuian Evolutions have been removed due to Rejuvenation's compiler not saving the changes Availability of a lot of Aevian forms got a big overhaul: Aevian Shinx no longer replaces the Shinx event in Chrisola, it can still be encountered in Evergreen Cave. Aevian Azurill and Marill are now available in Carotos Mountain. Aevian Marill and Azumarill are still encountered in Valor Mountain. Aevian Skitty is now available in Route 2. Aevian Delcatty replaces its encounter in the Safari Zone. Aevian Croagunk is no longer available in the Safari Zone. It is now available post-Gym 7 in Jirukala Cavern after receiving Rock Climb. Aevian Skiddo is no longer available in Valor Mountain. It along with Aevian Gogoat are available in the Forlorned Cavern on Terrial Island. Aevian Deino is now axed. It is still available to catch post-Saki at the Eclysia Skyview. I know that the Locations text file in the mod says that it's post-Ryland, but that's a typo. It is not available until you beat Saki. Anomaly Litwick can no longer be found in the Spring of Preservation. It is now available post-Gym 7 in the Church of Theolia. Note: Gen 9 will not be added until v13.5 is released. The compiler will not allow me to save a new species count and will crash the game every time a Gen 9 Pokemon is added in-game.

AsNKrysis
Hey there guys, I know it's been a while a bit since you last heard from me and I wanted to give you all an update on what's happening lately since there have been quite a few bug reports and suggestions that have popped up for me, yet no update released in the last week. If you haven't seen me on the #rejuv-mods section of the Pokemon Reborn Discord, I have basically started Gen 9 implementation for the next update. Once more, I am using @Fervis code from his All-Gen Reborn mod as a base and simply rewriting it to fit Rejuvenation's code where need be. This is why the next update has taken so long, because formatting code from a Reborn mod into Rejuvenation takes some time. Now, you might be asking next "Why? v13.5 is right around the corner and the scripts will be formatted to use the same as Reborn and Desolation, so this work will be for nothing in a couple months." Joke answer: Pretty sure I'm some sort of closeted masochist. Serious answer: Curiosity, more or less. It'll help give me a sense of balancing for Gen 9 Pokes in Rejuvenation. So, next question will probably be "When would the update for v13.5 come out after its public release?" Probably not very long. Once again, most of the work is done by Fervis and I'm simply making it work for Rejuvenation. The main thing that will take time is adjusting availability of Pokemon. While I've done a lot of balancing for the AltForms included in this mod, the one thing I will do my best to refrain myself from adjusting are vanilla Pokemon. I'm very well aware of how broken some Pokemon are capable of being, the Hisuian Forms can be busted and I'm not denying that. However, at best I want to be able to make this mod no more than a simple one that adds some new toys for people to play with. This is not intended to make the game any easier or harder by any means. Like I've stated many times, I have no experience with game design and therefore I am actively open to taking requests from any suggestions made by anyone. If you want one of the AltForms adjusted, then let me know how. If you want a Hisuian form to come sooner or later, then please provide your suggestion. This is my first ever mod and I strongly, strongly suggest that people provide feedback on anything they can. I've already been taking suggestions from a few people on discord and I am actively implementing such to my best power. I really appreciate anything anyone has to say about their experiences with this mod so please do not hesitate to reach out to me. If you like it, then thank you! If you hate it, then tell me why and I can do my best to help tweak things more to your liking. The next question you might have is probably "What will happen to this mod once Rejuvenation adds Gen 9 to its base game?" Well, the AltForms are still here, and will make my life a million times easier once Rejuvenation gets Gen 9 in its vanilla state. And the last, big question is "When will the next update be?" Hopefully coming out this week. I've had a lot of stuff happening irl recently that's kept me from being on my PC. I've been having quite a few bug reports come in and I want to address them quickly but I'm really hyperfocued on getting Gen 9 into the game proper. Most likely, the next update will not be having Gen 9 Pokemon be widespread available, but I will be making some available for all of you to use after waiting so long. It will be coming with a few changes to availability as well as addressing a lot of the bugs reported so far. If you've any more questions or concerns, once more, feel free to reach out to me here or on discord. I'll be sure to respond back to all of you as best as I can. Also, here's a bit of a teaser for some of the new AltForms arriving soon:

Even once Rejuvenation gets updated to the latest Essentials tools, making the AI use it proper would seriously be actual hell. A lot of Reborn, Rejuvenation, and Desolation's difficulty rely on field effects, and trying implement Terastallization alongside that would be way too complicated. Even the Rejuv devs themselves have stated they are not adding Terastallization to the game, and neither will I.

Is there anything you may have added to the Mods folder or adjusted in the game's scripts yourself? If you have the mod PokemonField.rb in your mods folder, take it out, that mod will completely break your game and I accidentally left it in when I uploaded this. If it's neither of those, then you may have to redownload the mod. The only thing I can imagine is that the download must've corrupted somehow. AsNKrysis
Pushed out another quick patch that reverts the change I made to Disguise. I changed Disguise back to how it worked in Gen 7 (takes no damage when Disguise breaks) as an oversight, now it should hopefully work properly as it does in Gen 8 and beyond. AsNKrysis
Alright, I really hope this will be the last patch I need to push out. I just fixed an issue with the first battle against Rorim B. on Intense mode. I accidentally left Quaxwell on his team (which was the initial intent to have Rorim B. have the Quaxly line on his team), so now it is removed and should function properly. Please redownload the mod and also report back to me on any issues, suggestions, and feedback you may have.,
