I Need Help with Breeding

I have recently discovered this game and as i am a fairly sheltered persons in terms of pokemon(Having only Played Main Pokemon Games),

I dont Know any of the novelties of playing hard Pokemon games.Like I dont know how to get perfect IVs,EVs and Natures.

So,I would appreciate it if someone gave me a complete walkthrough on breeding

A while back I wrote this little guide, hope it's what you're looking for. This information applies to E18, but should still be up to date; I added some information specific to E19 as well:

 

For starters, you have to know about a couple of items that help you during the breeding process:

• Destiny Knot: the Destiny Knot ensures that in total 5IVs will be passed on (the IVs are randomly selected from the total of 12IVs the parents have; without the Destiny Knot only three stats will be passed on).
• The Power Items (Power Belt, Power Weight, ...): when held by a parent Pokémon, this item ensures that the stat with which it is affiliated is passed on to the egg. If you give one of the parents a Power Weight, for example, the bred Pokémon will always inherit the HP IV of the parent holding the Power Weight.
• The Everstone: the Everstone makes your Pokémon more likely to inherit the ability of the mother (when held by the mother).

Next, I'll explain the process of breeding:

• The best way to breed successfully is to breed with high IV Pokémon. I always start with a 6IV male and a female of the Pokémon you want to IV breed. (If you don't have a 6IV male, message me so we can see how I can help you get started.) You give the female with the random IVs a Destiny Knot and the male with 6IV a Power item (at this point it does not really matter which one it is). You start breeding, hatching, running around (with a Pokémon with Flame Body/Magma Armor in your party, because it halves the egg distance; if you have the hatching machine in game, that makes this step a lot less time-consuming). After about 5-10* hatches, you should have gotten a female with at least 3 or 4 perfect IVs of 31. You now swap the original female with the good IV female you just got and again give it the Destiny Knot, as well as giving the 6IV male you are breeding with another Power Item, more specifically the one ensuring the inheritance of one of the stats which is not perfect on the female you are currently breeding with. Repeat the process. In the next 5-10* hatches you should again have a female with 5 perfect IVs. Now use that one to breed with, give it the Destiny Knot and give the male 6IV the specific Power item of the stat the female does not have. In this last match up (6IV holding Power Item x 5IV holding Destiny Knot), you always have 5IVs that are perfect and one that is random, making the chance of receiving a 6IV Pokémon 1/31.
• If you just want a physical or special attacker, you will get one quite fast this way, quite probably without even having to reach the last stage of 5IV x 6IV. If you want a mixed attacker or a breeding father with 6IV, you'll have to have more patience and breed somewhere between 20 and 80 Pokémon depending on your luck and the male/female rate.

Things to keep in mind:

• (In the above explanation I assumed you already know the basics of breeding, but if not:) Pokémon can breed if they 1. are of opposite genders 2. are in the same egg group (egg group  information can be found on Bulbapedia; this game should use Gen 7 egg groups). The female passes on the species, so if you breed a male Feebas with a female Magikarp, you'll get a Magikarp.
• If you want your bred Pokémon to have breeding moves, make sure to breed it on the female before starting to IV breed.
• If you are heading towards the final stage of 6IV x 5IV, try to make sure the female (5IV)'s missing IV is not Attack or Sp. Attack.
• While running around and receiving eggs from the daycare man, notice how he looks to the left whenever your parents have magically produced an Egg. (This makes your life a lot easier, since you don't have to keep asking him, he makes it clear by the direction he is facing whether he has an Egg for you or not. This does not apply if you have the breeding machine.)
• The likelihood of the Day-Care Man having an Egg for you is decided by two factors, increasing the chance if 1. the parent Pokémon are of the same species 2. the OT (Original Trainer) of the parent Pokémon are not the same.

*this number is an estimate and only applies when the bred Pokémon's gender rate is 50%; the higher the chances of getting a male, the longer you'll have to breed in order to get a good female.

Is there a pokemon that is in all egg groups with perfect ivs?

If not,Do i Need To Catch or find a Pokemon with perfect ivs in the desired egg group?,(Water 1)

Pokémon can be in two egg groups max. Ditto is the exception: it can breed with every Pokémon that's in an egg group. However, given that Ditto can't be bred itself, it is nearly impossible to get a 6IV Ditto through legitimate means. I have seen people handing those out, but know they were debugged into the game.

 

If there is a specific Pokémon you want to breed, I can help you get good IV parents. I have a 6IV male for every egg group for my own breeding purposes. If you're into breeding Pokémon, I advise trying to make those for yourself. Once you have one 6IV male you can get the rest more easily, due to there being Pokémon with two egg groups. (Say you have a 6IV male Eevee, which is in the Field egg group. You can use that Eevee with female Pikachu for example, which are in both the Field and Fairy egg groups, to gradually build a 6IV male Pikachu, which gives you access to the Fairy egg group, etc.)

 

(If you are not familiar with IVs: every Pokémon has 6 IVs (Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, HP and Speed), which in Reborn can be viewed in Summary: IVs & EVs. IVs range from 0 (lowest) to 31 (highest). For most wild Pokémon all 6 IV values are random, but by breeding with the methods I explained above, you can build towards Pokémon that have 6 IVs of 31.)

three small points I'd add to that:

-there is a way to obtain a 6IV Ditto in a legitimate way (very very late tho), some people might be handing those out, not all of them have to be debugged.

-when trying to get your 6IV pokemon, building yourself up from Pokemon that have a Baby-Evolution (like Pichu for example) is a great idea, because those have guaranteed 3 perfect IVs.

-the everstone being held does not make it more likely to inherit the ability, but instead makes it guaranteed to pass on the nature of the parent holding the item

Lastly,Do you know How long it takes to get a perfect iv in the undescovered egg groups?

I'm afraid that Pokémon in the Undiscovered egg group cannot breed. The Pokémon in this egg group include:

• Baby Pokémon: these Pokémon can be the result of breeding with their non-baby parents (in some cases one of the parents needs to be holding a specific item (usually an Incense) to receive a baby Pokémon from your egg; more info on this on Bulbapedia). These baby Pokémon are guaranteed to have 3 perfect IVs, as Balwer stated above.
• Legendary Pokémon, Mythical Pokémon and Ultra Beasts: these Pokémon cannot be bred and as such cannot be hatched from eggs. If I'm not mistaken, in Reborn they also have 3 guaranteed perfect IVs. That means that - unless there's some method to influence the IVs of these Pokémon I don't know about - you'll have to be patient if you want a 6IV Pokémon in this category and soft reset when catching them. Correct me if I'm wrong but the chance to get one is 1/32768 (1/32 × 1/32 × 1/32).
