How to get Magby

Hi, i am reletively new to this sight, but i actually got the game a little before X and Y came out.

My main problem is that i can't find that damnable Magby since i need it to take on the Grass Type Gym. I set the game to rain and then went under the bridge, but there was nothing there other than the guy telling you about it.

Please i need help.

Same with Elekid, who do you even come across that?

I think you have to talk to the guy about it first, so you might need to change the day and try again. As for Elekid it appears on a rooftop in beryl ward during a thunderstorm.

I did that and it is not showing. Does it have to be Thunderstorming?

I found it during rain, but I talked to the guy first before the rainy day. Since Mudkip had that deal as well where I needed to talk to a guy on a different day before getting it.

Hmm, so talk to the guy first on one day and then come back on another day when it is raining....got it. I will try that.

Amethyst changed the event: Instead of Magby, you get a Pansear... Here's something though: If you're playing 10.5 , i think the overworld sprite is a Pansear, but you still get a Magby ^^
