Aervana - A Declining World (OOC and Sign-Up)

Your character looks good. ;) I'm looking forward to Rp'ing with you, though we seem to have hit a slow patch... (Or a non-moving patch)

Hopefully the addition of a new member will help speed things up again. I was looking forward to finishing this RP at some point, but we've barely started. ._.

I think it would be most convenient for you to join group 1 right now, so you can read up on what little has happened so far, and make a joining post before they head off. It's a convenient time since a huge bulk of the people in the town have just gathered, so you can work from that if you want to or come up with something else.

Live it up to Hukuna to make a convenient story telling device to introduce a new rper without even knowing it. Also like I would post man, but I feel like I need to give other people room to do things lol, Olrien has done alot, he can't be the only character doing things lol.

Rhea turned to the group. "How about a story while we eat? I'd like to here the stories you all know, but if nobody else wants to, I'm sure Nash can tell a good one."

Rhea smiled as she walked over to her bedroll. That story was one of her favorites. A sad twist at the end, but a victory overall. It was a bittersweet story, and a good one, even though Nash wasn't the best of storytellers. She thought of how she would like to be as strong as the heroes as she slowly drifted off to sleep.

You contradicted yourself there by first calling Nash a good storyteller, then having the same character refer to him as a not so good one. It's not that much of a big deal or anything, but I thought it was kind of odd.

Well... telling a good story and being a good storyteller aren't necessarily the same thing. While the story may have been good, he may not have necessarily told it in the best way.

Ark, which Elf were you talking about in your post? Was it Olrien(My character)? (like if it was I am totally okay with that, since he probably would have been keeping watch anyway). Or was it Es?

(Kho is the Vanda, Brutus is a Shantii (not sure if I spelled that right.), and Gillem is a human. and Eleri is an Elf as well, but I think you specfied the Elf was male in your post, and Eleri is a Elfwomen. by the way this is just incase you didn't know, since I really don't have a clue as to what you know about group 1.)

I was planning on Olrien being the one to see me. After all, he is a wind (I believe) elemental knight, so he would likely be the one who would notice me following the party

Honestly, at the time, I thought Kho was an elf, but like you said, he's a Nomad

Oh I see, well I am going to post then. I figured you meant Olrien because of the Wind Shinangians (and yes he is a Wind Knight.), but I had to be sure lol. Might take me a little bit though like to plan a bit.

oh and Ark this is just for future notice, be careful when you are relaying actions of others characters in your posts (if they are Player Characters or PCs for short.). This is usually referred to as bunnying, and isn't liked very much since you really aren't supposed to take control of another PC. I didn't say anything about when you did it since I felt Olrien would have acted in the ways you described. Just don't get to used to it is all I am saying (it can cause a lot of problems if you upset the Player of that pc, which is why is is very frowned upon in most cases, I sorta gave you permission to do in those posts {even though I didn't express that out in the open}, but next time to ask before including actions of another PC in your post make sure they are either okay with it, or be ready to change your post.)

EDIT: just to be clear I am not condemning you man, I just don't want you to get into a habit of doing it or be confused if it is brought up later in some way.

Ah. My apologies. I was trying to be cautious not to do anything of the sort, but continue with something that makes sense.

And I need to stop digging my own grave. I want to join the party already, but I can't just deny who my character is D:
Anywho, Kozuto isn't the smartest. He's incredibly weak offensively, so... Let's just say he's passionate for the other Nomads

Yea, Olrien at this point doesn't feel like he is hostile if you couldn't tell. I actually like Kozuto, since he is pretty off the wall and very driven by emotion. I think he will be a great addition to the group lol. (Also I don't mind how you did the Olrien stuff lol. You made him feel really badass, in a very subtle way. Like Kozuto might be the only one in touch with nature enough to have actually felt Olrien messing with the winds, and I might not have has done as much justice to that.)

I try to paint others in a good light in hopes of better character building and thicker storyline. Better characters, better plot. And smart move, Little Dancer. Kozuto's screwed, secretly got his ass handed to him by you, Acquiscence, and threw himself into a bad situation. An endearing character trait of him, if I do say so myself. Quite emotion driven, yet has powerful ties to his race and similar races that have deep connections to nature. Maybe he will be friends with Olrien. Hint, hint
Pretty fun to write out of character. I consider myself to be rather in control of my emotions and actions, so it's pretty entertaining to act like someone who I am completely the opposite of.
Anyway, Koz will likely act as a healer, due to his resourcefulness with alchemy and animals that can obtain food and edibles. Too bad he can't attack for crap

Don't worry about that too much, we got a lot of fighters in the Group, so we got that covered for the most part. And we kinda got a Spell Caster. But Olrien doesn't have a lot of Offensive attack magic, I mean there is a little bit, but most of his Wind magic is support type magic, it helps him to fight and scout (like he used it earlier to locate Koz, when he was following them. He can also speed himself up making dodges a bit easier, and maker his swings that much more dangerous.) He has been pretty fun to play so far, he isn't like a lot of my typical characters (to be honest this is probably the first time I have ever roleplayed an elf in anything, I am usually roleplaying other more strange things when I roleplay, like Lizardmen lol.)
