My game suddenly won't let me use TMs anymore and when i try it errors and crashes

This is the error I keep getting, I'm not specifically using the tm powerup punch although that seems to be what the error picks out, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game, and even installing a patch but none of that worked, please someone help me.
