As I am not a scripter, I will just drop this here, I have gotten this error twice now while trying to catch a prism pokemon for Mr. Luck. Edited to add another screenshot from a different spot.

Can confirm, I have gotten this message after catching a prism jigglypuff:

didn't know there was already a patch for it thanks for letting me know. Edit: Lovely now i am having nothing but issues, "Update the game, game tells me to update, updater says it is update to date, try to launch the game for it to tell me to update, Repeat.

Possibly silly question, but: where do I find 13.5.1? On the dowload page, there's 13.5

I did check the bug google doc to report the very same error OP has posted, only to find "fixed with newest release" or something along those lines and the error as fixed. Which...I cannot find the newest patch.

Use the updater to update to the latest patch.
