amesoftheprophecy Posted November 5, 2023 Share Posted November 5, 2023 playing v13.5 and its been an absolute banger of an update so far, but lack of a guide due to its recent release is really beating me up, so here i am making an account to ask abt stuff right now im trying to tackle the crobat/'furious bat' boss fight (in mirage woods) and without a doubt it is significantly harder than it was in the previous version. does anyone have any recommendations for when i should be doing it and with what mons/strategy? and does it ever expire? im currently early in chap 4, on the normal/reborn difficulty, and before doing the stuff in wispy tower and then the gym fight- trying to do all the optional content i can basically before continuing the story. Expand To answer your question: I'd recommend trying to use a Pokemon that lets you debuff Crobat's attack stat, since it's a physical attacker. Using Pokemon with intimidate is a good strategy, as you can send out that pokemon first, switch out to a sacrificial lamb, and then send it back in and use intimidate again. you could also try using a flying type that learns feather dance, if possible. For some reason it's kicking my butt and I can't figure out where to go past the tent lol Expand i forgot intimidate is a thing so i ended up just lowering the difficulty and turning it back up again after beating it LMAO but to answer your question, i dont have my laptop out rn to send screenshots but when/if you see a cuttable tree inbetween some regular trees, go around the left and there’ll be a tree you can cut hidden behind a regular tree. from there you should be able to proceed. ill send screenshots if u cant find it still!
