Rimmintine
WHY IN THE why not did I decide to NOT battle him the first time. Blaziken - lv 50 Gyararods - lv 50 -- useless Gengar - lvl 37 Zoroark - lvl 43 Magneton - lvl 43 Bidoof - HM slave I've tried to battle him twice but I'm only able to ko his jolteon and his lanturn, but every time the rest of his pokemon ko me. The electivire is almost near possible to beat. I tried leveling up but that didn't work. I'm at the game corner trying to get a trapinch (no trouble with voltorb flip though). Should I go back an try to train up the pokemon some more?
Administrators Ikaru Posted December 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2013 As far as I remember, it's better for the story (in terms of the multiple paths thing) that you didn't battle him the first time I would definitely suggest a ground-type- which you seem to be working on, so good- or something with Volt Absorb like Lanturn or... Uh. I don't really know what else works for that, oops. If Gyarados is actually useless I might also suggest ditching it for the time being; Bidoof too, since they're obviously not doing you any good. Better something else than something that will just outright die anyway.
Rimmintine
I'll most likely train up the riolu and the trapinch. I may possibly replace magneton with luxray to avoid having two steel types. This should help me beat him very easily. Do you have any good grinding places? I usually grind off unknowns and macargos or tanzan mountain.
Administrators Ikaru Posted December 28, 2013 Administrators Share Posted December 28, 2013 Fishing in the lake is good for things that can beat Water types, last I recalled. Those two are pretty good as well.
Rimmintine
Even though I'm fishing in the lake, it still takes a very long time to level up 4 pokemon. ;-; Any other ways?
