Fifth gen and Sixth gen don't fit in the post so they will be posted two posts down.

Since Nickaboo left for Mexico the Pokemon Location guide has fallen behind and we have no real way of updating it. So here's V2 of the pokemon location guide created so we can have an up to date guide for the locations of the pokemon in reborn.

Inkay is the contrary pokemon. Instead of finding him in the water, you find him in a tree. If that's the reason Ame found for it, it' really clever...Actually it isn't. Goddammit...

Zubats ARE still in the Underground Railnet, but they're just rarer, and their encounter rate has been overshadowed by Noibat's one.

Oh, and I was talking about the ability contrary, not the fact that inkay WAS the contrary pokemon, thanks for pointing that out though I never knew :P

It's a damn shame Mawile was removed from Underground Railnet. Sucks balls tbh but hey, Im willing to breed for a play rough mawile with an adamant nature so yeah off I go~ I wish Ame had the oval charm in Reborn D:

Well, in XY Inkay appeared on high mountain cliffs; not in the water at all. It's a floating Pokemon and seems to like high places. It's not even a water type. So why would it be there?

I though of saying: Well, Inkay is a squid... But he's based on some kind of Japanese flying squid. I don't know, i was expecting at least close to water (Inkay can be found in Azure Bay as well... on the grass though...)

Fair enough.

After all, it is contrary to all beliefs, so why wouldnt it be in a habitat contrary to habitats people would think it would inhabit? (Pun on it's pokedex description LOL)

EDIT: I just remembered the other thing, too. Inkay doesn't evolve into malamar just by levelling, theres some other gimmick. I've no idea what it is. Do I need to turn my laptop upside down or something? >n<

EDIT 2: AAAAND another thing- The Dunsparces in the Grand Stairway? They appear at level 1. SOOOOO, be very fcking careful. >< I almost knocked one out (thank GOD my first move was False Swipe E_E)

Ame said something about Inkay evolution being something "different", because not everyone would be willing to turn their monitors upside down...

Common Candy is a good theory, but no, the actual method is actually quite genius, kudos to you Ame (I've said that on another thread already but hey, double kudos? :D)

To evolve Inkay, you have to try stopping it's evolution WHILE its evolving, in other words, try and cancel it. By doing that, you make it a surefire evolution to Malamar.

EDIT: I double checked on this by cancelling my Sentret's evolution to Furret once and sure enough, it stopped evolving, but when evolving Inkay (the first Inkay I did I accidentally got it to evolve) I cancelled it because I wanted it to learn a move early on. But then the cancel failed and it became a malamar (:

In Apophyll Cave. It's a bit rare, but it's there. I guy named "I'm EJ" told me, so thanks a lot!

Found one too... after 35 Geodudes and 5 Gravelers.

Oh. Also, Pidgeys can be found in the Jasper and Beryl Wards. If Im not mistaken, they can also be found in the respective forests in both areas. Spearow can be found in the Rhodochrine Jungle and generally all over Beryl Ward, rather than just on the grass. They can also be found in the grass in the beryl graveyard.

To be more specific, Chinglings only appear in The Area of the stairway where you find the citae arc d'astrae aerie. I might be wrong but I haven't found it in the Area leading to the unown spot.

The area leading to the unown spot was the place where i caught mine .-. (I did caught it BEFORE 10.5 , so there's a possibility that Ame changed it, though i doubt it...)

A ralts with teleport works too. I'm tempted to get ep.10 again and go get it too...
