Pokemon Location Guide V2

ShatteredSkys

Question

Fifth gen and Sixth gen don't fit in the post so they will be posted two posts down.

Since Nickaboo left for Mexico the Pokemon Location guide has fallen behind and we have no real way of updating it. So here's V2 of the pokemon location guide created so we can have an up to date guide for the locations of the pokemon in reborn.

FIRST GEN

SECOND GEN

THIRD GEN

FOURTH GEN

thanks

yeah im going to be without main team members for a while

zubat and mawile might be the 2nd and 3rd pokemon i catch for my main team

brokie will have to do for now

Mawile is also available in the wastelands only, so i'm guessing you'd better catch some other stuff for now ^^

On the topic of Leftovers: Leftovers is one of the best items in the game... Granted, it's not going to "decide" a battle against gym leaders that use even better items that you can use, but still... Ame doesn't want us to be on par with the gym leaders/rival/team meteor, on the contrary: She wants us to die while playing Reborn, and anything related to that...

Although i know better now: ALWAYS bring a pokemon with Thief against a gym leader... I don't have a focus sash, a rocky helmet and other items for no reason, you know ^^...

What pokemon do you have the knows thief seems as their is no TM thief in game (as far as I am aware)?

I am doing a Dark type mono and non of my pokemon know thief or even tried to learn it. >.<

Also Shiftrys Pickpocket ability doesn't seem to work... Just thought I would mention that seems as its somewhat related.

Migthyena, Lombre and Kecleon learn Thief by level up... Granted, they are NOT the best pokemon around, but with a bit of EV investiment, they can survive at least one neutral attack (Ludicolo is the best one!) and Thief the opponents item... if your team is very good, you can bring two pokemons with Thief and steals two items AT THE SAME DAMN TIME... Not really...

And for whatever reason, no pokemon learns Thief by breeding...

...okay...

Okay, following Mc's idea I covered the percentages for the Wasteland by day. If you guys think it's better to create a new topic for this please let me know.

Someone else make the thread, Going back to school monday, and I'll be using my Mac laptop while I'm there and I refuse to mess around with wine mainly because I here so many people have problems with it. So I won't have access to the game for an extended period of time.

I wouldn't say it'd make it obsolete. But yeah Perhaps one thread would be better as a whole. Just put each location in an individual spoiler with the different times of day. Not my call though. Seeing as how Shattered has the lead post in this thread, I'd say he should he decide that.

I still think that a topic for the percentage of pokemon in each area is a bit more useful...

There could be an "Event Pokemon Guide" only then...

Although i'm guessing we'd need more people working on this to make the other topic...

Yeah I know what learns it but they all learn it at really high levels and because I am doing a Dark type Mono I only have choice of Mightyena which is stupid considering its a Dark type move...

I took Mighyena off my team earlier because he just doesn't cut it stat wise and has a terrible movepool and offers nothing to a team of Dark types. Also in this playthrough I am only up to Noel Gym battle so I can't even really level Mighyena high enough to learn thief (off top of my head he learns it at high 50s right?)

Btw lol kinda stuggling with Noel battle with my dark type team... That Clefable takes hits way too well and heals twice thanks to the field and leftovers and is even strong offensively against my whole team with moonblast. :( Why is there no Bisharp lol.

Edit: Also is his Cinccino holding Kings Rock? Or is it just extremely lucky?

Cuz Bisharp is too good ^^

It's too bad that you're doing a monotype run... If you caught a Kecleon, doesn't matter the level - You can just go to the move relearner and get Thief... But oh well, i guess you'll have to wait for the TM then ^^

So, I went to Spinel Museum and got a Cover Fossil from someone. However, when I went to pick it up after getting it revived, the person told me that although he managed to revive it, it didn't live long. Is there normally a chance for fossil revivals to mess up like this?

On the topic of fossils, why do the revived Pokémon start out at such a low level? It's just unnecessary grinding to get them to a level where they can fight by themselves. I remember fossils being revived at lv. 20 in gen 4.

Yea, I can confirm it happened to me, when I was trying to revive my Dome Fossil, it died. And before that, it occurred with my Armor Fossil, but I saved before I gave the guy the fossil so I still have it.
