Fifth gen and Sixth gen don't fit in the post so they will be posted two posts down.

Since Nickaboo left for Mexico the Pokemon Location guide has fallen behind and we have no real way of updating it. So here's V2 of the pokemon location guide created so we can have an up to date guide for the locations of the pokemon in reborn.

I do have a rather unfounded theory on what comes out of the mystery egg. It may be determined by which episode you started your save file in, although that's even assuming there's an algorithm in the code that actually keeps track of that stuff. The only save file I had that didn't already do the trade started in Episode 14.

The other theory I have is that it's determined by starter choice. I picked Torchic in that file.

Gastly event as we all know was changed. It's now...

Although now I wonder what happened to the previous event featuring that Pokemon...

Pachirisu/Panpour event was also changed. Maybe another possibility.

Using the l33t h4x0rz powers I possess I was the one who actually found out about the 18 different possibilities during beta... God damn Ame is evil for what she put in that egg... Lets just say a lot of the "new confirmed mons for E15" come out of that egg... You guys know the ones I'm talking about... Of course there are some in there that are currently obtainable, just found later on.

Also don't think this egg is the only way to get these things. They will appear later on in the game you can just get them early from this egg.

Remember that place where you fight the Nuzleafs on a windy day? Well now there's a weird totem pole there, and if you bring an Ill-fated doll, it becomes a Baltoy and fights you.

Dunno if the Nuzleaf event still happens or not. Need a windy day.

Oh yeah that totem pole is tied into two events now. The first is Baltoy like you said, and the second is a Natu, although Idk how to activate that one quite yet.

No it's not (and you still can get vanillite from the Candy Shop)

My friends all got the same result as you from the mystery egg and we all started in Episode 14 while doing this event in EP 15. We all had different starters so I don't think this is a starter related event although that's a neat idea.

As for the Pachirisu event, it's been changing around for me.

I think over the weekend, I'm going to test the episode theory by starting a new file in Episode 12. This is really the only thing I can think of that would fit in with the clues in the other threads (only 1 in about 20 people would get Larvesta/you need the assistance of other players).

So where does that need help of others theory come in? Is it that you'd need someone who started in a different EP to get it for you? I'd be willing to help test the theory via a different episode.

Hi ok info time lets go.

There is now an egg in the slums that can be either Drowzee or Ducklett.

As someone mentioned, the Pachirisu event changed. However the Panpour event can now be a Wingull.

Electrike was replaced by Blitzle.

Electrike can be found in the obsidia alleyway, presumably on thunder storm days.

Litleo is found in the Obsidia Alleyway as well.

Vulpix is now at the circus.

Slugma and Nidoran male have replaced Trapinch and Psyduck at the game corner

Trapinch can now be traded for in Chrysolia instead of Cryogonal.

Cleffa is no longer at the beginning :[

Tropius is now found where the Nuzleaf are as well.

You now need the crystal plugs before you can get the yureyu key as well.

Well, there goes the episode theory, at least with Episode 13 and 14 files. I ended up finding an old file from Episode 13 that had yet to do the event, and I still get the same Pokemon as my Episode 14 files. Unless I'm supposed to find even older episodes. I started up an Episode 12 file, but that might not even be far back enough to make a difference...

Unless I'm actually supposed to wait for the egg to hatch instead of assuming what Pokemon it's going to be based on the egg's appearance.

Well better safe than sorry but I don't think you need to hatch the egg. Was the event different in previous episodes? I never did this before EP 15 because I forgot about it.

Guys the mystery egg is randomized for each file, episodes have nothing to do with it. The game literally picks a variable between 1-18 at the start up of a file and gives you whichever pokemon is assigned to that number.

Okay, but do you want to explain how you know that? Also are you aware of what you can get from the event?

Some people know where to look in the data. Thanks to Pyrr, we found most of the new Pokemon locations, actually.

Also, most Ace Members know the list of Pokemon from what you can get, including me~ We'd prefer if you searched yourselves, though.

Of course, like I said this is an exclusive situation. It'd take forever to go through the game over and over till that point to get a chance at finding out what each pokemon you can get from that event is. You could also get a duplicate egg since it's randomized apparently which could make that incredibly time consuming.. So, I figure the best way is to gather results from other players. It's important too if some of the pokemon that we're looking for are exclusively from that event for players looking for the new pokemon.

Edit: According to the above post it isn't randomized, so okay... @_____@ Back to the idea board. If it's 1-18, starters being the deciding factor would totally be a good guess since there's 18. BUT my other 2 friends both got an azurill and we all have different starters so I don't know anymore. Again we could have all got azurill since we started saves in EP 14 though. Hummmmmmmmmm

If you all are truly desperate, I suppose we could tell you later. For now, though, I won't, so it's more of an adventure! But I suppose somebody could PM Pyrr or me or others if they want the list or something. Kinda gets rid of the fun of finding them out though.
