EVs: 248 HP / 44 Def / 216 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Protect
- Wish
- Calm Mind
- Psyshock

With its new Dream World Ability, Xatu can now deflect any non-damaging moves, meaning entry hazards and status ailments are no longer a threat. 333 HP and 308 Spd is pretty good for a Pokemon like Xatu. Use Calm Mind to set up but remember to Wish and Protect when you're low on HP. Psyshock takes out Special Walls like Chansey, and also provides STAB boosts.

If you don't wanna set up, then go with a Physical Xatu. U-turn helps you escape against possible threats and can also help in passing Wish to other Pokemon. Zen Headbutt has a chance of flinching your opponent's Pokemon, and has STAB too.
