CaptainNikolai
So...did not see that one coming. My team as of now cannot take this thing down, but I do have a plan. I have a Spiritomb on back up that I can level grind a bit, reteach it Curse, and try to survive from there. I was also looking for the TM Toxic, is it available yet? As well, can I even backtrack from this point? I can't seem to find my way out of Route 1. =(
Yoshi
I lost and the cut scene continued, I think depending on who's side you choose, will you be able to continue after losing. I THINK! unless you just want to beat him. Edited January 31, 2014 by Yoshi
CaptainNikolai
Well, I chose Radomus' side, and when I lost, El took 5500 Pokedollars from me and I was sent back to the Nature Center on Route 1 to try again.
Yoshi
I think if you choose the other side it will continue regardless if you lose. I THINK! its been a while since I was at that part. At least it feels like it.
CaptainNikolai
You were right. I had to choose El's side to continue. WHEW! That is a lot of avoided work. xD
Arkhi
The fight is achievable, though. I had a Steel type used up its Dark Pulses. That way, all it has left is Judgment, Hyper Beam, and recover. If you have something that can take the dark pulses well, like Escavalier or Steelix, then switch into a ghost, you should be alright
RasenShot
Indeed, steel types are very useful in this fightProof:
MetalKing1417
Another suggestion is to find/raise a Koffing at/to level 40 at which point it learns destiny bond. The Wasteland is a good place to look.
Smithy
^ Or you can just find a why not in the same cave and usually it does have destiny bond.
ShatteredSkys
^ Or you can just find a why not in the same cave and usually it does have destiny bond. why not got the ax in 10.5, i beat it by pp stalling out dark pulse with spiritomb and spamming dark pulse and hypnosis since the arceus has dark pulse, judgement (normal), focus blast and recover. Vinny
I beat Arceus with a Scrafty with Hi Jump Kick and a Focus Band. 11k xp!
